Assistant records OR at 50% of the CPU

Hello

It happened to me twice now that after installing some software NOR the Assistant process * 32 remained at 50% of the CPU even after installation was over until I finished the process manually.

I don't remember exactly when it happened last time. This time it happened when I updated using the Update Manager OR (the update was a patch for application Builder). I'm on Win7 64 bit with the two LabVIEW 64 and 32 bits 2011 installed.

Using the Task Manager I generated a 80 MB of this process dump file before I cancelled, if it would be useful to anyone.

Thank you

Matt

Matt,

Thank you for reporting this issue.  If you have problems because of this, please let us know and we will be happy to help you.  Otherwise, I will report this to our R & D department, and if they need the file dump on your part, they can be in touch.

Thank you

Trey C.

  • Registration Wizard works 100% of the CPU after the Installation of LabVIEW

After installing LabVIEW and restarting, the registration wizard runs at startup [silently in the background], does nothing notable and eats 100% of a CPU core... that is, core runs at 100% CPU usage.

This has happened for quite some time now, since perhaps versions 2010 or 2011 LabVIEW and ultimately annoyed me enough to post because it is not fixed.  Obviously others have had the same issue as well, who went in abeyance... see this post: Assistant registration OR 50% of the CPU

In these cases they report 50% or 25% CPU because it is what happens when you have a dual or quad-core with one fully used heart... it is eating 100% of one heart, but gets divided by 2 or 4 on a quad-core or dual system and appears to be 50% or 25% CPU usage.

The workaround is obviously just to stop the boot at startup record Wizard, but really... have to solve this problem, whenever LabVIEW is installed... not ideal.

I'm running Win7 x 64.  I have the wizard registration market with trillions of cycles after my last CPU install LabVIEW.  I can collect logs or data or a stack dump or no matter what... Let me know what will be useful information for the OR try to correct this.

What happens if you rename NI\Shared\NI network Discovery\niDiscExp.dll network Discovery\niDiscExp.bak NI\Shared\NI and then restart the wizard?

  • HP-G4-1303AU: I want to upgrade the CPU in my laptop HP-G4-1303AU [redacted]

I use a laptop HP Pavilion G4 [1303AU]. Serial number is (deleted content). I want to upgrade the CPU processor application to some hearts one. Please anyone suggest me which processors can install and are compatible. Also let me know what I need to change for the processor to function correctly.

My laptop is too hot. What should do?

Please suggest me for the above two questions.

    Thanks in advance.

    Here is the Manual:

    Repair manuals

You can remove your AMD A4 processor and install a

    AMD A8 - 3520M 2.50 GHz processor (1.6 GHz FSB, 4, 0 - MB L2 cache, quad core, 35 W)

The manual shows how to do it. The A8 processor will be a quick replacement; You can reuse the heat sink and won't need any part other than the processor. While you are there, it will give a good opportunity to clean the inside and apply new thermal paste between the top of the processor and the lower part of the radiator. Clean the blades of the fan with a q-tip with alcohol, then wipe each blade with a lint cloth carefully to make sure that everyone is clean as a whistle. On the A-series AMD when you upgrade the processor, actually get you a small bump in video performance. The processor is actually called an APU and is somewhat simplified, the CPU and video card. Normally I advice against upgrades the processor laptop, but on this one particular type, I think it's logical given that the processors are cheap, because there is not much demand for them. Intels are a lot more. After the back if you need assistance. Good luck.

  • HP ProBook 6550 b / WL560AV: hppa_service.exe with 24% of the CPU

I had some problems with my laptop and the process of troubleshooting, I downloaded and installed the HP Support Assistant.  Since the reboot after installation, the resource (resmon.exe) monitor showed HPPA_Service.exe at the top of the list for the use of the CPU, stable running, between 24% and 25%.

I don't remember whether I gave him permission to install/run Power Assistant.  I don't think it worked before; If she she has never appeared as a problem anywhere so I was not aware!

I don't want HPPA_Service.exe to 25% of my cycles use cpu full time.  What is the best way to make it stop?

You can uninstall programs and features. If you want to reinstall you can find on your support page.

Click on the link below, click on the "drivers and software", and then type your model number in the search box and then press ENTER, when loading the page select your operating system. Pilot your page will appear.
  • IPMTB-TK (Truckee): PC based on the temperature of the CPU report Windows App for IPMTB-TK (Truckee)

Find out how you can see the temperature of your processor in Pre-Boot BIOS menus?  Is it possible to do within Windows?  I do sometimes video transcoding, which pegs the CPU and I wanted to see how hot the CPU gets while to see if I need to replace the tough, but stock, CPU cooler provided with my e9280t.  I worked with Gigabyte motherboards before, and their EasyTune, while only overkill for what I'm looking for, gives a reading of CPU temp.  (For the record, do not try to install EasyTune on PC based on an IPMTB-TK, you'll give yourself a heart attack when your PC crashes when installing [hopefully he will recover just fine.])  Is there an app that will do what I want and works with a card mother IPMTB-TK?

I myself crack.  I'm ready to install an application especially designed for another motherboard, but I don't think Google "CPU Temp".  In doing so, I found 'Core Temp' (http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/) which is exactly what I was looking for.

I wonder why the ram usage is so low compared to the CPU in AE cs 5.5? I check the stats background when rendering that happens and it is said that 22% of my ram is used. Even to the end, only 22%.

That being said, people here are recommending tons of ram, such as 32 GB +, but why? If this is the case? Maybe my computer needs more complex effects such as the production of grain?

    Thank you!

The number reported at the bottom of the request for use of the RAM is only the amount used by the foreground application. It has nothing to do with how much is used by the instance of After Effects context or assistance process.

  • Limitation of the CPU Alienware 18

I've had my AW 18 for a month now and it appeared that shortly after that I started to use that performance was not where it should be.  Make a long story short, the whole issue of limitation is perfectly relatedn post of this forum.

Bottom line, all of limitation and heat/fan issues that occur can be resolved with a BIOS updated so please Dell and Alienware, help us.

Be courteous to the brother Chris and bear in mind that he is the Messenger. He's here for our benefit and deserves our respect. He is not personally responsible for the problems that everybody knows.

If you know the correct settings to use and use the tools, the 4930MX can run 4.3 GHz without problem. It can also run 4.5 GHz or 4.6 GHz without problem. I'm talking of all hearts, not one base... and under 100% load. So, to answer the question, you don't need to wait for Dell at all to turn the CPU at this frequency. For those who have a doubt about the ability to overclock the CPU, take a look at these screenshots.

It is an undeniable fact that the fans are not working. It compromises all exactly the same way... games, professional use or overclocking. It is a problem faced by many customers, and I hope that it is only a matter of time before it is resolved. For those looking for assistance with cooling while we wait for an updated BIOS update to fix it, there is something you can reduce the severity of the problem... read more.

I have repasted CPU with Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra and it helped to compensate for the lack of fan activity. It is a liquid metal TIM who did a phenomenal job of heat transfer, but it can cause serious if it is not used with great caution. With Ultra liquid, I am actually able to run 4.5 GHz and TIM change of phase full of markers that caused a thermal shutdown before the fans begin to turn using the stick or thermal paste IC Diamond.

Heating liquid Ultra slow CPU which allows enough time for the latency in arrays of fan 'catch up' and confirm the temperatures are really too hot and the fans actually need to come, and fans end up by begin to run.

Discovered this album to get advice on the application of the Ultra liquid. You will find a description of text under each photo.

After the use of Ultra fluid, I was able to make this 1080 p video at 4.3 GHz with a maximum base of 83 ° C temperature. If you watch the video in 1080 p, you can look at the times in real-time.

  • How to monitor the CPU, memory and i/o on the system

    Hello..

    Some body help me?...

    1. how to manage the monitoring of the performance of the system and the database during execution of ODI?
    2. how to monitor the CPU, memory and i/o on the system?

    TQ
    balleur

In an attempt to partially answer your questions:

    1. how to manage the monitoring of the performance of the system and the database during execution of ODI?

Monitor the performance of the application from a commercial point of view. As transactions per minute, or response time or time elapsed for the key events of the company. Monitor the activity of the material such that the CPU usage is not necessarily linked to the performance of your application. Performance should be measured from top to bottom - business first, then the lower levels until you get finally to computer equipment. Only if you get a problem to the next level - response time is too large, for example - you can go through the lower levels to identify the cause and fix it.

    2. how to monitor the CPU, memory and i/o on the system?

I personally use "sar" on UNIX-BASED or Linux, or rather "CFDCs" which is the system activity data collector. SADC will measure and collect data on activities on CPU, memory, disks, etc. and save them to a file in binary format. You can then extract these measures later for analysis using SAR (sar f sadc_file_name). The benefits of SADC are that it is light (these operating systems measure such things anyway, just CFDC records far), it records everything at once (with the exception of the network), it records the time stamp too for each measure, and you can analyze it later when you want to.

There are commercial products out there too who do similar work, with additional features, such as the integration of Oracle and the relationship between several systems. TeamQuest is an example, but there are others also. (I do not work for TeamQuest, but I used their product in the past).

  • "Installer" taking up the CPU

I have an iMac end of 2012, and lately he worked very slowly. A few days ago, I checked the activity monitor to see "Installer" take a lot of CPU. I leave and rejected it as an error, but sometimes it starts to do it again.  I just kept smoking them until I found several installers taking up half of the space of the CPU. I did some research and I read that the Genio virus, but there is no house icon in the upper right corner and I just can't find any files for it.

Can download some adware or malware.  A simple, fast and safe way to remove adware and malicious software is to download and to use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac. There has been developed by one of the most respected contributors and the top of the page in these forums and recommended by almost all of the top contributors here.

If you prefer to do it manually, follow these instructions in the site theSafeMac.com (author of Malwarebytes): adware removal Guide

If you want to check to see what adware/malware, you may have before you run Malwarebytes and then download and run Etrecheck.  Copy and paste the results in your response. Etrecheck is a diagnostic tool that has been developed by one of the most respected users here (and recommended by Apple Support personnel) of the CSA to provide an overview of the system and help identify the most obvious culprits that can adversely affect the performance of a Mac.

  • Running process crushing the CPU

    Hey guys,.

I installed Sierra on my Macbook Pro 13 "2015 today and had a problem where the process of"photoanalysisd"ran all the time.  I used between 120-150% of the CPU.  When I force quit, he came right away.  After a few hours, I went back to el Capitan.  If there are others out there who have had the same experience and a possible solution would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

I think the "photoanalysisd" process of facial recognition / scene on your photo library.  I've seen this as well as a few other processes using higher than normal amounts of CPU.  A few hours later, everything is back to normal once all the new features have done their thing.  Depending on how many files, the speed of your system (CPU and storage read/write), and all what you use, this background process will end eventually.  It took a few hours for me to see that I had the minimal use of the processor idling.  I hope this helps.

  • Process creates the CPU to overheat and the Fans to run like crazy:

I am ripping DVDs on different Macbook cradle fully aware that it's requiring treatment.

The 2011 with 16 GB of ram and hard disk SSD, the process runs on 330% of the processor, blasting the ability and heat

    revolves around 100 c/213 F.

Interesting enough the same process on 2 late Mo Pro 2008 with less ram do not overheat in the extraction process. The program are identical on all the Pros of 3 MB. The processes are the same, but on the old MBpros the processor load is between 130-150% up to more heating is not that great a problem.

But the MBPro of 2011 with top material tearing overheating of the processor and fans running at full speed.

I noticed that too much work with other programs or is running only a few programs at the same time seem to heat from the processor and the fans make some noise + cpu run hot with my MBpro 2011 and El Capitan.

It is possible to restrict a program that use a large part of the resources to avoid overheating?

    Other solutions?

Well a Late 2008 Macbook Pro has a intel core 2 duo, so the max he could run is 200% (2 CPUs time 100%) if the application can do enough on 2 processors in parallel.

Your 2011 Macbook Pro has very probably a 4 core CPU intel i7 with hyper-threading.  If an application can use hyper-fils, there is a potential of 800% max.  The 330% could just be that the DVD cannot keep up with the CPU, so it does not hit its maximum potential because of the famine of data.

I don't know if the speed of the DVD drive in 2008 was the same as the 2011.  If the 2011 is able to read data more quickly than the 2008, then it can provide given the CPU faster, keep the much busier CPU so it can consume more power, and more power consumption more than the heat generated.

MacBook pro 2011 ends a DVD in less time than the 2008?

Basically, you are trying to compare 'Granny Smith' vs 'Golden Delicious' apples and expects the same taste.

Regarding the other programs, put this SSD in your Macbook Pro means that any code or data that the application needs to get the disc are convinced order or magnitude faster, so that the application did not slow the CPU and keep crank, causing the CPU to keep them busy and thus attract more power, which is converted into heat causing fans to run.

It is also possible that your SSD generates more heat.  Solid State does not always mean longer running costs.  Much would depend on the brand and the model of the SSD and it is the power profile, and it draws more power for writing vs readings, and how much nature more expensive power you're done.

Information point.  I put an SSD in my 2009 27 "iMac and it works more hot because my iMac can do more in less time.  I put an SSD in my Macbook Pro 2011 and if I ask him to do a lot of work, like backups, it starts its fans, as the SSD is always quick to provide data for backup, there is no waiting for the discs, leaving the lower idle CPU.

  • IMRemoteURLConnectionAgent taking up the CPU

I need help knowing what to do with a process that has taken over from the CPU. The computer is a brand new iMac (retina 4K, 21.5 inches, end of 2015). 3.3 GHz Intel Core I7. Actually right now, I have 3 computers with this same problem.

There is a process in activity monitor called IMRemoteURLConnection Agent who gets in anywhere from 70 to 95% CPU. I already have a call with Apple and first off they had never even heard of this process. After a while they thought it was related to Messages. They said that it is constantly ping the cloud for contacts in Messages. They thought it could have been a bad image of golden and had me create a new drive bootable with the latest version and install it on computers. This helps not at all. He is still taking up all the CPU. There is same person logged into Messages. I tried to Landau and boots security dealing with issues for a few hours. Then he returned. If someone has had this problem and how you can solve this problem?

You reproduce the problem when running in safe mode?

Is it possible to record "Mozilla Persona" - password with the FF password manager?

  • Firefox does not start (not safe mode), but uses the CPU

I have the latest Firefox 25.0 (and the last Flash 11.9.900.117) on Windows 7 and the following behavior is reproducible. It started not too long ago.

At first when I launch Firefox, nothing appears no matter how often, I restart. I see in the list of the process firefox.exe to 25% of the CPU, 2 x FlashPlayerPlugin_11_9_900_117.exe (CPU 0%) and plugincontainer.exe. No matter how many times I killed all of them, would not restart Firefox.

The following also not help in this situation:

    • Starting in normal safe mode: Firefox opens a window but immediately freezes and does not respond. The process list shows the same process even if I find the unexpected FlashPlayer.
    • Disable plugincontainer: same results (just without plugincontainer.exe)
    • Uninstall Flash: Same results (just without FlashPlayerPlugin)

The following can start Firefox only once:

    • Starting in SafeMode but select "Reset Firefox": Firefox does not start right away, however. Nothing happens, and you have to kill the process. However the very next time you launch Firefox in the normal way, it works fine (but it shows FlashPlayerPlugin.exe in the list of unopened Windows process despite the tab). Unfortunately, after closing Firefox the process (Firefox, FlashPlayerPlugin) are not deleted. I kill and the problem with Firefox do not leave reappears.

In case you use "clear history of Firefox closing:

    • do not delete Cookies

Note that compensation "Preferences of Site" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, windows pop up, installation of software and passwords.

Use "Firefox > output" (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: Firefox > quit Firefox. Linux: Firefox/file > exit) to close Firefox if you are currently doing by clicking on the X close in the title bar of Firefox.

Create a new profile manually (and not via the reset) as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

    See "create a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a profile in the new profile, but be careful not to copy files corrupted to avoid transporting on the problem.
