AT300SE - boot after update loop

After the last update, my Tablet AT300se not start.
Someone please provide me with the Stock ROM?

I am in India now and I can't find any toshiba tablet in India service center.

Have you tried the hard reset?
To do this press hold * power button & vol. + button *.
Then navigate to reset the option.

Usually, this should help reduce the loop process in case this is not possible, I think that the only service would be able to help :(

This afternoon, I ran windows update and it said to restart my computer.

Reboot it starts normally and then when it gets to the page where I normally connect it says: "Please wait" then flashes to the 'preparation set up windows. Do not turn off your computer. "And then it restarts and does the same thing over and over again

It does the same thing when I try to run safe mode, so I can't run that.

  • Problem re boot after updates.

Hi, I have a laptop HP DV6, which is about 2 months old. He originally had Vista but I bought the cause 7 upgrde, I couldn't wait any longer for the free update, I want to come. Anyway, whenever windows needs to re start after updates to the computer does not start upward. When he tries, I see the HP screen at the first start and then nothing, just a blank screen. The power light comes on but the hard drive light doesn't work. I pressed the power button to turn off and turn back on and everything's fine. He started using Vista. I did a full restore before installing the 7 upgrade, but it always does. Any ideas?

Check in safe mode if the same thing happens.
To enter the safe mode press F8 when you restart.

  • The IdeaCentre 300-01IBY stick is not booting after update Bios

I just updated to the latest version of the bios update. Immediately after that update the stick does not start. The light flashes for about 15 seconds then turns off - it seems to be in an infinite loop.

I tried unpluging the USB hub and the memory card - nothing works...

    Any suggestions / workarounds?

Thanks in advance for your contributions?

Unfortunately, there is a known issue with the Windows Flash utility that is many devices 'bricks' (broken). You need to update the firmware if or update to the latest version W10 will fail and lock your device. The only approach is to use the flash of UEFI USB stick method (the other firmware download option), but it's too late for you now. You must give your stick for a replacement. Boring, I know. Happened to me too.

  • Windows Vista fails to boot after updates combined with Mcafee instalation.

The laptop is a 2007 medion mim2330 running 32 bit vista Basic.  He was protected by Bullguard, but it had expired and has been exceeded. A message appeared on the screen WARNING french that he had been infected by a virus - it does not look official and I am not sure that he clicked on the option to download solution - however the phone still worked. I had a Mcafee 3 user license and wanted to install it so I uninstalled bullguard and installed Mcafee process windows crashed and failed to WINDOWS START SCREEN appeared and I was unable to boot windown in any mode. I gave the phone to a knowledgeable friend who said it was a virus, but did not know that one - he said, it has been deleted, all hardware tests had been run and it was perfect. It has resized the partition of disk doing a great score including a remains a very small. He reloaded windows with avast antivirus and gave the laptop back to work. I wanted to use the Mcafee I had paid for, so I uninstalled avast and installed Mcafee. Everything went well and the laptop worked - however the mcafee warning sign came up saying scan in real time has been disabled - he turned back, but a few minutes it turned off again. I have contacted Mcafee used virtual tech then chatted in their eng who suspected a virus, a virus scanner from mcafee, rather than the laptop - it was very good. While the computer restarts windows laptop crashed and the WINDOWS FAILED to START SCREEN has appeared. I gave it back to my friend who reloaded windows and avast and widely used for a week. When we got it back avast had been removed and there was Windows Defender - didn't light alarm does not. We loaded on Mcafee and had plenty of updates (and hours) then tried windows live messenger telling to SP1 and SP2 are necessary. They were charged after an eternity using automatic updates of windows. After everything has been loaded on a final restart gave place WINDOWS failed to START screen and does not start in any mode. I thought it might be linked to the abduction of an antivirus and the installation of another, so I put in the original Windows restore disc in and formatted the large partition, then reloaded windows and all its drivers then went on updates auto and auto updates for 24 hours until what he said to date. Installed mcafee - no problem, then tried windows live essentials that required sp1 and SP2 - used auto updates to download SP1. When this is completed there were two messages from Mcafee saying restart the pc and the other problem Center and soln windows saying an upate problem was found to go online to find the solution, I checked windows update history and SP1 and all other updates were installed successfully, so I rebooted the laptop - at which point it crashed and WINDOWS has no PU START APPEARED to-it wont start in any mode. Suggestions as to the cause and or how to make the process of restoration in less time - much appreciated. We have a same laptop bought at the same time, running the same original software and Mcafee - never a single problem. Thank you very much

Usually, this means that Windows could not load the packages of metadata for some devices on your computer. If you do not already have it, you can run chkdsk/r (there is a space between thek and /) to verify the integrity of your hard drive. Follow the steps below:

    1. reboot your computer

    2. immediately press theF8 key until you reach the Advanced Boot Options menu

    3. Select Safe Mode with command prompt.

    4. at the command prompt, typechkdsk/r

  • No boot after update Win 7 64 bit (April 2016)

In Windows updates in the Control Panel, I had chosen "check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them, which seems to mean Don't warn me. Anyway, last week, I downloaded and installed a bunch of updates that went well and then after reboot there was 2 updates more so I downloaded / installed those, rebooted and now it gets as far as showing a tiny Preview windows startup logo and then goes to a screen offering the "(recommended) launch Startup Repair' or 'Start Windows normally'. The first ride in the screenshots shown:

Any ideas how to recover it would be much appreciated please.

Do not know how your windows is installed but disabling secure boot and switching OS Type for other OS or see improvements

    Then enter your bios

Go to Advanced Options / Boot and see what options are listed with CSM

The CSM see if if only pass to legacy or UEFI could only help.

  • OptiPlex 990 not PXE boot after update Bios A18

After the update to A18 on multiple machines, I noticed that they all hang after address DHCP is affected and what would normally be the menu timer (if it was not all work in progress) or launch from the boot of automation.

I also noticed when you update to the latest version on our Latitude E6420s so.  Returning to the A17 on the 990 and the 6420 corrects this problem.

Is anyone else having this problem, and this Signals to Dell.  I tried to Google this but any how, I wrote the search I can't find anything with recent BIOS.

    Hello Irios103,

It is difficult to determine what is causing the conflict with Bios version A18 and your systems. The improvements to the code may be the cause of problems on Cisco switches or oldest feature, such as the tree covering weight or the characteristic power of conservation.  You can also make sure the quick port is enabled.
If you do not need specific to this version of Bios patches, it may be better to not use it.

Improvements & fixes for version Watch:
1 address system does not meet the keyboard intermittently.
    2. address UEFI OS fail boot with this disk number HARD password.
    3. questions of CCTK.
    4. improve the compatibility of PCI devices and USB devices.
5 Update Microcode Intel SandyBridge processor.
    6 update Intel PXE ROM.

    (1) try last known configuration of God since the menu advanced boot options and 'disable automatic restart in the event of system failure', to start in the last known good configuration or 'disable automatic restart in the event of system failure', press the F8 key when the system is restarted.

    Hi royfos,

Do you have a code error message when you try to run the system restore?

Check if you can get into safe mode. If you manage to get into safe mode, then you can run the restore of the system from there. Otherwise, another option is to perform the Startup Repair.

    Method 1: Troubleshooting Safe Mode

Step 1: Start the computer in safe mode

Safe mode is an option of troubleshooting for Windows that starts your computer with only basic services and features.

To get into safe mode, check out this help article: , start your computer in safe mode

    Step 2: Run system restore

For complete help, see this article:System Restore: frequently asked questions

Note: If you use system restore when the computer is in safe mode, you can not undo the restore operation. However, you can run System Restore again and choose a different restore point if any.

    Method 2: Startup Repair

Startup Repair is a Windows Vista recovery tool analysis of missing or damaged system files that may prevent Windows from starting correctly. Run it and see if that fixes the boot problem.

The update is not installed successfully, you receive a message, and the computer restarts when you try to install an update in Windows Vista and Windows 7

  • Problem in reboot loop after updates.

I have windows XP on an Asus A8V-E-SE motherboard has developed a problem in reboot loop after updates.  It will not go in safe mode either.  Stop at a display of the driver.  I used the recovery console using the XP cd and you can see the update directories in the systemroot folder.  I followed the instructions in the forum to uninstall every update by accessing commands back to the subdirectory spuninst update and then run "Batch spuninst.txt.  I get a bunch of 'access denied' messages for each of them (varies in amount of "access denied" messages by everyone but consistent for each.)  It's not like the batch uninstall for the update does not work.  I tried to uninstall all updates yesterday 10/02/10 (I had 10) even with the "access denied" messages, but it still will not initialize properly.  No way to move the access denied message?
