ATI radeon HD 5650

where can I get the drivers ATI radeon HD 5650?

Use the original drivers. They are located in the second disc of the set of discs of recovery media that you must have created.

You can also install the original drivers of in the Recovery Manager which is invoked with a F11 key immediately after the power of your laptop.

  • Satellite L655 - 183 - ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 update

    Hi all

First of all I want to say is that I was disappointed.

I bought some computer time ago laptop Toshiba Satellite L655 - model 183, which has an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics card.

I treat a lot of graphic systems and the latest PC games.
I have long days of online search wherever possible to upgrade the video card but didn't fine anything.

Site Web de Toshiba has an update of the video card, but from 14.1.2011 and that day we had almost in 2013.
In addition, ATI site cannot be updated the graphics card installed on a specific laptop Toshiba, Sony and Panasonic are also prescribe it clearly.

They clarify itself should contact the manufacturer for an updated video card. I talked to Toshiba support and they were no help to offer me, they said, that they do not know how to get updates and what appears on this site updated, they know. And which bit understand, your video card manufacturer releases updated each month to allow video cards offer maximum performance.

However, they referred me to their laboratory, in the hope that they knew about the issue and it turns out that they do not understand and do not know how to help.
I tried to send an email to them but no response.

The situation is at the moment I have not finished work, which is economic implications, etc.
I would like to know once and for all if anyone here knows where I can update the video card in this model for Windows 7 64-bit? And if possible update the video card thing?

    Thank you.

    > I would like to know once and for all, if anyone here knows where I can update the video card in this model for Windows 7 64-bit? And if possible update the video card thing?

do you mean the driver or the graphics chip?
The chip graphic card cannot be upgraded.
The driver can even if you do not find a newer version on the Toshiba page.

I could download and install the driver from a 3rd party like omegadrivers.net page
But I also read that the use of this driver is your own risk too!

  • HP, NEW driver FOR ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics card

My laptop HP Pavilion dv7t-4000 CTO Select Edition has the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650. The latest version of the driver output of HP's latest Mobility Radeon driver version v8.771.1.0 AMD - ATI is v11.9. As a result of the latest updates, my video conversion software and other graphic software will not require work... and I get error messages telling me to upgrade my video card driver! I downloaded the current version of the driver 11.9 directly fom ATI, but it refuses to install and gives an error message saying contact manfacturer for help. Talk about a Catch 22!

I'm trying to get my HP Pavilion dv7-4152si Entertainment Notebook

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

1.6 GHz Intel Core i7-720QM processor,

    8 GB DDR3 (2 x 4 096 MB) memory,

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 with up to 4091 MB total graphics memory with 1 GB DDR3 dedicated

to use only the graphics card Intel and not the ATI graphics card. The laptop is supposed to be able to do through switchable graphics of CCC settings (auto or man) that I did not and do not seem to be able to make it work.

Plan B is to get rid of it!

Question: How can I completely uninstall/disable/get rid of graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 so that the laptop uses only Intel graphics in the future?

I'm not a gamer and do not require high-end graphics and is not compatible with some of my request for a sandwich that I need every day.

    Thank you

First of all, make sure that your 5650 is active. You can tell that it is through small catalyst logo in the system tray, one that looks like a red atom.

Bring up the Start Menu, type "Device Manager" in the search box and press ENTER.

This should open the Device Manager. From here you will see a long list of devices, click the arrow next to 'display adapters '. Then right click "ATI Mobility Radeon 5650" and choose uninstall. Follow the dialog boxes to complete the installation

This will remove the driver for the 5650, which should accomplish what you're looking for.

The driver for laptop page also you a driver Intel graphics HD only, so it might be a good option to stability.

  • Satellite L650 - update of the need for the Mobility Radeon HD 5650 driver

    Hello

I'm looking for some updated for my vga card drivers, and the only ones left are 2011 (who are old enough).
I managed to update with AMD generic drivers, but since I have a 24 "display when I do, I get black borders in resolution max. It happens, I think, because the graphics card has been tweeked by Toshiba so my only option is that you have some updated drivers for it.

    Any help/info would be great.

    Data sheet:
    Satellite L650-11F PSK1JE
    Processor Intel I5 2.1 ghz
Mobility radeon hd 5650 graphics card
    4 GB of ddr3 memory
    hard drive 500 GB

    > I managed to update with AMD generic drivers, but since I have a 24 "display when I do, I get black borders in resolution max. It happens, I think, because the graphics card has been tweeked by Toshiba so my only option is that you have some updated drivers for it.

Drivers Toshiba re changed but I don t think that your right/left borders on the external screen are related to this change. The drivers of Toshiba support protection against overheating, but AMD drivers don't support such feature.

However, I think that the question that is related to the bad resolution. You must choose the native resolution used by the external monitor.
In addition in the ATI catalyst, you should check the settings that are associated with the border I put t know the exact description, but as I remember there is an option that eliminates the left/right border.

  • A Dell U2414H can work with a mac Pro 3.1 (10.9.5) and an ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT?

    Hello

Here's my dilemma. I recently bought a Dell U2414 as a 2nd monitor to replace my old 2407FWP Dell (has died) with the understanding that the new monitor would work (via a DVI to mini displayport cable). I bought a high quality 3rd party DVI to mini display port cable. Obviously, the monitor does not. I can't get a direct Dell response if this will never work. My hunch is the graphics card can not simply to manage this monitor and it won't work with my system.

FYI: I also have an old DELL G2210 (resolution: 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz) on the other DVI port. So I'll still need a DVI port.

Here are the current video card info:

ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT: VRAM (Total): 256 MB

Here is my Mac info (on 10.9.5):

Model name: Mac Pro (early 2008)

    Model identifier: MacPro3, 1

Processor name: Intel Quad - Core Xeon

    Processor speed: 2.8 GHz

    16 GB OF RAM

Firstly: If someone can give an answer as to if the monitor works with this graphics card, just to settle this matter and move?

Second, assuming that no, my choice appears to be:

    1. return the screen and try to find another 24 "that will work with the original map (someone there suggestions for what is currently still deployed that would work with such an old graphics card?)
    2. upgrade the map so it can handle the new monitor but still run the old.

I chatted with OWC on this subject and they suggested 2 possible upgrade cards but they will not be returned since they could not guarantee that they will work with this monitor there is a risk.

Dell has been pretty useless (I have no one said yes, the other doesn't).

Here are some suggestions from OWC (see below). Can someone comment and tell me if or the other will definitely work or offer another solution? I would really appreciate it!

I know there are more expensive options (Saphire?), but I don't want to spend $500 for a graphics card on a 8 year old computer.

    Thank you!

This is a screen with a displayPort, a DisplayPort outside and a Mini DisplayPort connector, in 1920 by 1080 max resolution.

You are WAY overthinking this. A mini DisplayPort to mini DisplayPort or a Mini DisplayPort to [size] DisplayPort should do all the work for about US$ 10, no conversion.

You don't need another card unless your is dead.

  • ATI Radeon 9600XT

I'm not having a problem, I'm looking for information.

I have an ATI Radeon 9600XT 128 MB in my Mac G5 1.8 DP.  It has an ADC and DVI port.  However, everything I read says this card has a different arrangement of the output ports and was never used in dual processor systems.

So... what gives?  How could it be in my Mac?  EC which could I really have?

I suspect also that was an upgrade option, as the 2.5 DP released at the same time had a standard 9600XT...

  • Memory size incorrect notification in Windows XP for ATI Radeon Xpress 200 M

I have a problem that keeps buging me:

The thing is that I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L20-181, with an ATI Radeon Xpress 200 M graphics card, which, on the toshiba site is specified to support up to 128 MB. After that I tried to configure the size of the memory for the graphics card in the BIOS, to a precise value, Windows Xp is not displayed correctly this amount of memory. I think that the graphics card has another source of memory, DDR2 RAM memory, but I'm not sure.
Initially, I had a 256 DDR2 dim. After configuring the Ati card for a value of 32 or 64 in Bios, entering into Win XP, it displays a value of 128 MB SGDDR.
Then I bought another 256 dim (I have 2 x 256 ddr2 dims now), and an additional value of 128 appeared in the BIOS. When you now set the value 32, Win XP shows me 128 MB SGDDR, and when you set the value of 64 or 128 I get 256 MB SGDDR in Win XP (which is impossible! because the ATI Board is supposed to support only up to 128 MB). This problem can also be caused by the driver. I installed the drivers from the CD of Toshiba, and I can't find another driver to work for her. WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE WIN XP SHOW THE CORRECT VALUE FOR THE MEMORY OF THE GRAPHICS CARD? s ' Please help!

    Hello

As far as I know you can change the size of the UMA (default) 32 MB maximum. 128 MB.
This value, which you can change in the BIOS. I put t know where look you good value, but you should start to DirectX. Command: dxdiag.
Here, you can do any graphics test and you can see the total graphics memory

  • problems with ati radeon x 600 in dc7600

    Hi-
Newbie here... I just installed a X 600/256 MB card pcie ATI Radeon in the HP dc7600 SFF and getting white 4-5 screen when starting with Windows XP.

She also stopped twice in the past two weeks as the card has been installed. No problem with integrated graphics.

My question is: I have loaded which, in my view, are the correct drivers from this site and the AMD/ATI site. Could someone please tell me / link me to drivers. Some do not list even the X 600 just X 550 / X 1050. No use gamming or heavy on this machine. ¿¿Would I better too just stick with the integrated graphics card?

    Hello

I suggest to remove the card, reinstall the drivers for the integrated graphics card and using the onboard graphics for a week as a test.

If the white screen start and stops disappear then you have found the culprit.

If you do not need higher resolution graphics, you are definitely better with the embedded video solution. I suggest using the original drivers.

What dc7600 do you have? (CMT, SFF, or ultra-Slim form factor are the three versions)

  • Drivers XP for Satellite P305D-S8828, ATI Radeon 3100

    Hello

I just installed XP SP3 instead of Vista on my Toshiba Satellite P305D-S8828. But now, my problem is that I can't find a driver for the video card Ati Radeon 3100. I searched Toshiba Download Center, ati download center and I googled for a few hours, but without result.

Any idea where I could get the driver?

    Thans,
    Dan.

    Hello

AFAIK that ATI Radeon 3100 graphics card was also installed in other laptops.

For example, the card has been installed in this European series from Toshiba:

    Satellite L300D PSLC8E
    Satellite L300D PSLE8E
    Satellite Pro A300D PSAK9E
    Satellite Pro L300D PSLC9E

Check the laptop series above and maybe you will find an XP driver.

  • Need driver more recent card ATI Radeon 3650 - Satellite Pro A300-1NT

    Hi all

I'm looking for the latest drivers for ATI Radeon HD 3650 onboard Satellite Pro A300-1NT.
During the game, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen game (2009) by Beenox Inc.... I get squares pixelated on the screen (instead of dust) and possibly a blue screen.

    I use Windows XP Pro
I searched drivers * Toshiba site * and the only one that I found are:
01/12/09 Display Driver ATI Windows XP 8.477

    * Support game * suggests upgrading driver for a newer version.

    * Ati manufacturer support * have driver for ATI Radeon 8650 but not compatibile with Solution Mobile - and asked for Mobile Ati support I got the Transfer:
+ AMD for ATI products customer service does not provide direct technical support for computers laptops/notebooks this moment (by phone or e-mail). If you need live technical support please contact the manufacturer of your laptop/notebook computer system. +

I ask then is there latest drivers for Windows XP

    Hello

I think you have already answered that question yourself...

As you wrote that you can get all the drivers on the Toshiba site and if it isn t a newer driver available you can nothing more I think. Satellite A300 isn t a laptop of game performance so I think that the display drivers are not so important.

The only way to obtain a more recent version, it's looking on external Web sites. Maybe you can get the desktop pilot working had some changes I put t know but really attention! Other drivers don't have protection against overheating and you could destroy the graphics chip. Be very careful of what you do.

Alternatively, you can search on the Toshiba site for other models of laptops with ATI card too. Maybe, you can get a newer version

    Hello

Have you checked the page Web ATI for Linux drivers?
Try google a bit in Linux forums.

PS: I found this site to info Linux on the Toshiba page:
    http://newsletter.toshiba-tro.de/main/
Here, you can compare a configuration and compatibility options.

But you must know that Toshiba supports only the Microsoft OS, and there is no guarantee that the various Linux distributions will work properly

  • Where can I buy the new ATI Radeon 3650 for Satellite A300D mobility?

    Hi all

very simple question, where can I buy new unused mobility graphics card Ati Radeon 3650 for model toshiba A300D - 16Q, omg help me pls, thanks ;)))

Very simple question for you, but not just for the members of the forum.
For desktop computers, you can purchase almost all hardware, but for mobile units, it's a bit complicated, especially if you need new motherboard.

General graphics card is not available in the separate framework and what you can buy is any motherboard. You'll be lucky if you will be able to buy the graphics card used somewhere.

You will be able to find the entire motherboard but the graphics card... it is not easy to find.
