Hello
so many warnings:

This means that writing to disk is a concern for our system?

Thank you.

  • PDM writing time

    Hey guys,.

    I have a clip attached.

    This code snippet runs in a loop timed with maximum speed 500 ms = 2Hz.Only LIA values must always be the most recent. I2C and analog values are not sampling that fast in another loop, so it's ok, if the last value is saved two or three times.

    How do I set the timeout, that the loop is still able to finish in time?

    Any other suggestions how to improve performance?

    Kind regards

    Slev1n

    In these situations, I generally use a global variable or the library of the current value (CVT) table to contain the latest data instead of the notifier.  You don't need to follow a reference in this way, nor do you need to close.  A little easier.

  • long writing time

    Hi friends,

    in my project of mtech, I made an image using some calculation.but when I want to write it in image, needs a lot of time why?

    It is not only the calculations that you make in this loop, you make image also writes for each iteration.
    -Instead of this, you will need to use imaq write only once.

  • Fax Confirmation of newspaper and time

    I have a HP Officejet Pro 8600. When I send a fax, it prints a "last Transaction" which is very convenient. However, he said that the time is 0:00 00 Jan. How do I set the time? Also, a feature of our last fax should also include a copy of the first page sent this Fax is received. Can do us with this machine? It is very convenient in case someone accidentally put the fax upside down, we can recognize immediately.

    Thank you.

    To set the time:

    1. The home menu, press the arrow pointing to the right.
    2. Press the setup button.
    3. Tap preferences.
    4. Select the Date and time.

    The printer does not have a way to print the image of the fax on the confirmation page.  Sorry, but not a feature on it.

  • TDMS of MDF time stamp conversion error / storage date time change

    I fought it for a while, I thought I'd throw it out there...

    Let's say I have a file TDMS which has a channel of labview time stamp and thermocouple 2.

    I load in DIADEM, I get this:

    Perfect!  But now let's say I want to save the PDM as a MDF file so I can see him in Vector sofa.  I right click and save as MDF, perfect.  I started couch and get this:

    The year 2121, yes I take data on a star boat!  It seems to be taking the stamp of date/time storage TDMS as starting point and adding the TC_Timestamp channel.

    If I change the channel of TC_Timestamp to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 etc... and save as MDF, I get this:

    Very close, 2012!   But what I really want is what to show of the time, it was recorded what would be the 10/09/2012.

    The problem is whenever I do like recording, date storage time is updated right now, then the MDF plugin seems to use it as a starting point.

    is it possible to stop this update in TIARA?

    Thank you

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

    You got it right that the MDF use written the time of storage to start MDF that is updated by DIAdem when writing time. We are working on this and will return to you, if there is no progress.

    To work around the problem, you can try convert TDMS MDF in LabVIEW storage vis.

    Something like the following, you can write your start time of measurement to the MDF file.

    Hope this helps,

    Mavis

  • Why MobileMe first synchronization alert several times with Vista Outlook 2007 and iPhone 3G?

    I'm in long discussions with Apple Support, which are very polished, but we are not making much progress, after some time and effort. The installation program is Outlook + Vista Business + MobileMe, iPhone 3G. Everything correctly the program installation insofar as Apple is concerned. Everything worked OK. Now, all of a sudden, every time there is a new entry or deletion on Outlook or iPhone, sync (for the most part successful, sometimes not) is followed a few minutes later with a first synchronization Alert, telling me that MobileMe has needed attention because "this time around the first of may you have synced or you have reset your data." The First Alert Sync then you offers a number of options for resolution, including data to merge or replace. Fact is, even if I agree to "merge data" or choose another options presented to me (for example replace MobileMe with data from Outlook), MobileMe never stops with its first Sync alerts, no matter how many times I followed the instructions from Apple mail. What is important, Apple did suggest trying a new Vista user account - and the problem do not appear to arise here, although perhaps a handful of test on a new installation of Outlook inputs would be very difficult. My questions: (1) are there the obvious things that might spoil MobileMe on a particular user account, because of this problem? (2) at - it's not a "bot"? or diagnostic application that Apple or MS could foresee that would actually identify what actually firing off the illogical Sync First Alert? Thanks a lot for all the suggestions for the non-technical user. David, London

  • "redo the write time" includes "log file parallel write".

    IO performance Guru Christian said in his blog:

    http://christianbilien.WordPress.com/2008/02/12/the-%E2%80%9Clog-file-sync%E2%80%9D-wait-event-is-not-always-spent-waiting-for-an-IO/

    Waiting for synchronization of log file can be divided into:
    1. the 'writing time again': this is the total elapsed time of the writing of the redo log buffer in the log during recovery (in centisecondes).
    2. the 'parallel log writing' is actually the time for the e/s of journal writing complete
    3. the LGWR may have some post processing to do, signals, then the foreground process on hold that Scripture is complete. The foreground process is finally awake upward by the dispatcher of system. This completes pending "journal of file synchronization.

    In his mind, there is no overlap between "redo write time" and "log file parallel write.

    But in the metalink 34592.1:

    Waiting for synchronization of log file may be broken down into the following:
    1 awakening LGWR if idle
    2 LGWR gathers again to be written and issue the e/s
    3. the time for the IO journal writing complete
    4 LGWR I/O post processing
    ...

    Notes on adjustment according to log file sync component breakdown above:
    Steps 2 and 3 are accumulated in the statistic "redo write time". (that is found in the SEO Title Statspack and AWR)
    Step 3 is the wait event "log file parallel write. (Note.34583.1: "log file parallel write" reference Note :) )

    MetaLink said there is overlap as "remake the writing time" include steps 2 and and "log file parallel write" don't understand step 3, so time to "log file parallel write" is only part of the time of 'redo write time. Won't the metalink note, or I missed something?
  • [8i] problem of calculation of Date/time...

    So I am currently faced with a situation where I need to calculate the total number of hours that a workstation is in use for each day in a given period. I have a table with newspaper each time that each workstation is used. The problem is a workstation can be used for any period of time, commencing on any day and ending on any day. This means that a particular log entry may extend over several days. I don't know how to split the difference between the time of the end of an entry and departure date/time of entry over several days.

    Here is a sample table and some sample data for what I'm doing:

    Replaced the post with something SPECIFIC

    Thanks, I appreciate it.
    A surprising number of people on this forum does not seem to see the value of posting something specific. It's a great relief to work with someone who does.

    I said how I could not simply subtract two dates, t1d - T2D, in a place determined; I had to use TO_NUMBER (t1d - T2D). Maybe even workaround will be used here.

    It may seem reasonable (at the time your conclusion and your frustration): intervals have been introduced in Oracle 9. (However, I noticed that sometimes "what's new" were actually available, although without papers, in earlier versions).
    Yet once again, how are the bind varibales defined? Looks like they are the timestamps. Subtracting two DATEs results in a NUMBER, but by subtracting two stamps produced an INTERVAL. You can change to the DATEs where they are defined?
    Try to use TO_DATE or CAST in the subquery p, to ensure that it produces DATEs:

    ,     (     -- Begin in-line view p to define parameters
              SELECT CAST (:start_date AS DATE) AS min_date
              ,      CAST (:end_date   AS DATE)  AS max_date
              FROM      dual

  • Hard drive fills up fast

    Original title: Decreases the memory:

    I have xt pro on my cmp - very little, other than IE8, Word, Excel. Nothing great. Be "topped up" several times with disc 'restore' since the performance was slowing down. Gradually, the HARD drive fills up: after the last reading memory 30 GB charging used; 10 GB free. I think that xp is only about 1 GB - what am I doing wrong?

    Ken

    Thanks for all the suggestions. Tried and thought about them, but made no difference. However, I found the answer:

    When you use the disc to 'restore' every time I was simply stack several operating systems on top of those already here. I have about a dozen versions or more I suspect No. 1 partition. This time, where do my last (I hope) restore today I paid more attention to writing when the options are available on the "formatting" the drive. Now, I completely formatted the Partition No. 1 (where I suspect that all versions of xp are kept) and pressed. Of course, the restoration has worked well and I now only ONE version of XP on my system. The display of 'properties' on the drive C: tells me now that I have less than 2 GB used and 28 GB FREE!

    Result?

    Thanks again for the suggestions - that made me think a little more deeply...

  • Reboot loop after integrated at startup

    I searched for nearly two hours on the net looking for a way to solve this problem and I did not find anything, so I hope that if I post my own situation, I'll help.

    My laptop was not entitled to the left, so I plugged in the charger before turning on. While she has been commissioning, more precisely on the loading screen (you know, the green/yellow bar with "Microsoft collaboration" or something like that below), I accidentally pulled the charger out and it is turned off. Replace, it works again and I received a message (I'm sorry I don't remember the message itself, I don't have a lot of attention at the time) it gave me two options, I could either start windows normally or repair the system. I chose the system repair because I thought I could have damaged the phone somehow. So he asked me to do a system restore and I did it, it was restarted, loaded all the way to the Office and just as I was about to go about my business, a blue screen with white flashed writing for a fraction of a second (I couldn't read at all) and it restarts again.

    This time, he gave me a new black screen sent me three Mode options safe mode (Safe Mode, with networking SM, SM with command Menu), and then start windows normally. I started windows normally and it happened all over again.

    Now, I'm in Mode safe mode with networking. Everything works perfectly well in Mode safe.

    I have no CD or whatever this is supplied with the laptop, as it was given to me by a person around a year ago.

    I tried to access the Mode safe via the F8 option as well, just to see if something would be no different, but that didn't work either.

    Anyone know how I can go about fixing myself? ANY help apreciated if you really! :)

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    How to get Vista recovery Media or the Vista recovery Partition on your computer back to factory settings.
    There is no Vista free download legal available.
    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
    They will tell you how to do this.
    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
  • L70 - A problem SSD - no boot device satellite upgrade
    Hi all
    I decided to get any help here, after almost a week of fighting with the upgrade of my Satellite L70-A-118 with a SSD internal SiliconPower. Drive HARD conventional is installed, everything is perfect and computer starts every time. But when I connect SSD it is very reliable, which gives the "no boot device - please reboot ' message from time to time, or several times in a row. This kind of behavior is OS independent (I tried windows 7 and several Linux distributions) and after searching the Internet, I am convinced that it is the problem of BIOS. Initially, the version of the BIOS was 1.00, and I read that the upgrade to 1.20 should solve the problem. So I did, and nothing happens, I want to say that the DSS kept as unpredictable as before the start. Taking things methodically, then I upgraded for all available versions of BIOS (1.30 and 1.50 and 1.60) and Yes, since 1.50 the ssd boots correctly in 8 cases of 10, so it's an improvement, but still far from perfect.
    The problem with SSDrives of many manufacturers and Satellite L50 L70 is common and have been reported (see https://forum.toshiba.eu/showthread...formance-issue ). Unfortunately, none of the solutions I found on the internet works for me. No matter what system I am running and what settings are enabled in the BIOS (AHCI/compatibility; Boot from the UEFI/CMS; Performance/Battery). It seems that the ssd drive sometimes is not recognized by the BIOS on power on or restart it, but I can't understand what is the reason for this: after «no device startup...» ', it is sometimes sufficient to press ctl-alt-del to warm restart it and it goes as it should, but sometimes you can press the dozen times and the same message. Cold start is usually better, but not always. And I have no problem with the start-up of this particular drive on other machines.
    Help or the direction where pick up because it would be very appreciated. No matter what expirience with the L70 upgrade with ssd also. Thank you for your attention and your time.
    Peter.
    PS. honestly, the screen "toshiba leading innovation" is the most annoying more trying to fix my problem.
    Is there a boot option secure in the BIOS? If so turn it off, you can also watch the boot sequence and make sure the SSD drive starts first. Other than that, it could be something to do with the HARD drive itself. This could be a thing of tension, either caused by the SSD to ask for more than what the motherboard can provide for her or the CMOS battery itself goes flat. It is difficult to say what exactly cause your problem because it is incompatible, but to check if your card mother try running the laptop with a low battery and see how it compares to a battery full, try it plugged and plugged not able to check the behavior of the splash screen. To check if this is the CMOS battery, you can open your machine and extract it and warm a bit with your hands before you put it back in the machine and put in operation again. This will add about 0.3 volts again in the stack that can start the system again normally. If it works, then you need to replace the CMOS battery because it is at the end of his life.
    I installed Windows XP Home edition on my laptop yesterday, everything was fine, but now I can't use the CD unit at all. It does not open, and when I open it manually (with a clip or something like that) the device does not read the disk in it.
    Any idea?
    Thank you for your attention and your time.
    Hello
    STI's optical disc drive listed in the Manager of devices or Windows Explorer?
  • one of the three internal hard drives slowing down
    Everything was perfectly fine, I have three internal hard work led in may Mac pro early 2008, 10.10.5 yosemite OSX, 32 GB of ram, 128 GB SSD boot drive, a hitachi 1 TB and a 2 TB WD I bought 3 months ago. Suddenly a week ago that my 2 TB WD started working slowly, reading and writing time is too long for small amounts of data. Folder icons take the time of loading, and even if this isn't my boot drive, but its cause my very slow closing system. Other drives work perfectly well. I tried to repair the two partitions via disk utility, but nothing helped. The problem is that I can not change my project pro Prime Minister because that all files associated with the project are lying in this same WD drive files cache for After Effects and Premier Pro causing these applications run slowly. I'm working on a feature film project any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you
    Probably the drive is a failure. When a disc is a failure it should read data multiple times to get a free reading of the error. That really slows thinks down I will quickly copy the data to another disk
  • y410p very slow start
    I've had my y410p for 3 days now, and its takes me 9 minutes to start. Apart from commissioning I have not noticed problems. I have the model with a ssd and 24 GB 5400 RPM drive. I do not pay attention to the time to start the first day or two after getting the laptop, so I don't know if the question has been with her from the beginning or not. I'm in the island is not a hardware problem, it's possible configurations are the question? And how can I determine if the hardware is at fault?
    Hi Psudo_Pro,
    Could you try uninstalling the Intel Rapid storage technology driver and reinstall the drivers from the link below.
    http://support.Lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?docid=DS037919
    Alternativvely, you can also go to the website of intel and are looking for the latest drivers from the FIRST.
    Let me know how it goes.
