• Extract the value of the ring of text created by program

  I have a spreadsheet I need to extract a single line. The first column of the worksheet has non-espacees values of time and feed these time values in a property node that is introduced in the Strings [] of a ringtone text indicator property node. The purpose of this is because I want the user to select only time for which the data were collected and, ideally, the zero point of time in the list corresponds to the zero line.

  However, when the user selects an element of the ring of text, the control passes the chain selected and not the associated value, despite the use of the "Value" property node You have any idea why this is happening?   Thank you both for your responses. In fact, I was just able to solve the problem on mine in Exchange for the VI of subset of table with the Index of table VI. It works perfectly now, even with the values not assigned (even if it's an excellent suggestion, Jeff). Nathand, in which your question, select the indicator that I had attached to the control time no was not to display the value (0,1,2...) than I expected but the character string chosen itself, (-800,-750...) which confused me into thinking that something was wrong. I have attached the fixed VI for reference.

  When you right-click the control of the ring, you will have a Create-> property Node-> disabled]

  AS LONG AS you call the command is not strictly Type Def or the cluster that contains the control of the ring is not strictly of Type defined, you can use property "Disabled items []" to get the behavior programmatically.

  I have some problems with a control ring in a panel of the CVI. the ring comprises several elements. No matter what I choose, the result will always be the first item. I can't select something else than the first (Recent not necessarily the default item).

  When I redraws the Panel, it works for the next few days. but somday in built version (production-application) the selection of ring control no longer works. When I start the uir-file in the labwindows cvi gui editor, I can understand the problem. Even in mode 'exploit' I can't select other elements than the first.

  When I convert the ring article in another ring (F11 key), and then convert back into the original it works again (1-2 days).

  When the problem appears, the contents of the file is always the same!

  I also redraw the Panel in different versions of labwindows cvi (2010/2012/2013), still the same problem.

  another ring-control on different panels (many more controls) never come whith this effect.

  Hi Lukas.

  If you think the UI to be corrupted file, you can

  -Save in a version different (e.g. 2013 instead of 2010) and see if that makes a difference

  -Save it as a text TUI file and re - import (Options / Save in Text Format)

  I have a control of the ring (text values) in Labview 2009 and it is populated by programming with 20 points. The end user selects from the list items or fills with a new item based on a checkbox to add a new item. What I want to do, that's when section 20 is entered and the user selects the check box next to the point 21 to add I want around rap on the first item in the list and crush him.   Replace the subset of the table.  You need to keep track of the element to replace in a shift register.  I would also like to keep the list in a shift register to make your life a little easier.

• Get the current Index of the Ring System

  I need to know the index of the ring box that is currently displayed on the front panel during execution.

  In a Word, no.

  the method that you use is the easiest.  If the srtings are very long, you could unbudle [channels] and property values and this table just to save a few (very minor) research paper.  Keep in mind, control system properties depend on the operating system

• Control of the ring and structure cases

  In my control ring 3 or more elements are there and is connected to a case structure each article with each image. If I select the second element then the case structure must also run well 1 & 2 frames. And if I select the third point, then the business structure should run the frames 1, 2 & 3 and so on. Is this possible?

  This is not possible with just a box Structure. Place a loop in the Structure box and loop 1, 2 or 3 times by plugging in the ring in the County Terminal and the Terminal of the wire for the case selector iterator.

  What I see in the indicator is 123 V instead of the expected 0,123 V

  You guys are able to reproduce this?

  Noticed on LabVIEW 2013 and 2014, 32 and 64 bit on Windows 7 and 8.1

  Bring up the digital display of the command of the ring.  You will see the units you enter under edit items menu is indeed volts.  Any prefix to units only acts on the screen.

  Is it possible to import data to a text ring with labview control.

  I have several definitions of register in the ring controls, but manual entry would take a lot of time.

  Was wondering if there was more automatic way, I could read the values from a file.

  Using the first method gives you the ability to extend such that each column specifies a control of the ring if you need fill the multiple rings.

  This example assumes that all of the three rings contain the same number of elements. If this isn't the case, you will need to create a Subvi, which removes the empty elements. [Edit - create a text file that contains a column for each ring, separated by a tab character.]

I realized that the order was not good, so I wanted to reorganize the three photos. I don't see this option. Is this a bug? I expect such an obvious feature of a ring of photo... (LV 2015)

  The steps I have mentioned must be done on the printer screen, not on the computer.

  On the printer screen, press 'Fax'-'settings'-'fax advanced settings'. Once you scroll through the menu options, you will find the "ringing" or "ring volume" option. Select, then reduce the volume.
