Audio hardware problem

So I have a problem with the audio in legacy where audio from things such as spotify or any other audio system does not work unless there is once the effects of the active program. This means that whenever I go to another thing that legacy audio just stops. I had this problem with several computers. I want his problem with the creation of audio material in sequels, but I tried several settings to get the same result every time. I rebooted several times, but it doesn't seem to help.

I always use headphones if it makes a difference.

Running after effects CC OSX 10.9.4

Thank you

Matt

I found this.

and delete my settings midi for all applications of CC and restart seem to work, for now anyway.

  • XPS M1710 - Audio hardware problem

I have a XPS M1710, probably close to 10 years. It has been impeccable in the performance over the years. However, one day my audio just stopped working. There a (!) in Device Manager, next to my card its SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC. When I go to properties it says the following.

I am running Windows XP by the way...

    "State of the device.

Windows has properly loaded this hardware device driver but cannot very well the hardware device (Code 41)"

I decided to buy a new motherboard and recently installed new motherboard and I have the same exact error.

I know that this laptop is super old, but that doesn't make any sense to me why the audio is always a failure. I'm going to uninstall the new motherboard and make sure that all connections seem to be good.

Any other advice? A dead speaker at risk of this or any other material?

    Thank you

Hello. A faulty speaker would not cause the error message. You could get the codec failed if it failed both the MB origin and replacement. You can test the codec running audio Dell 32-bit diagnostic tests. If you are testing is no longer, and then follow the instructions here to run the external media.

If the audio tests pass then it's a software problem. It's probably too late to try the Windows system restore, so I would try to re - install the audio driver according to the normal order of the facility would be used after a new OS:

    1. install the Notebook System Software and restart.

2 install the Intel chipset driver and restart.

    3 reinstall the driver Sigmatel.

If still no sound but its past tests, then you should get audio back after the next time you perform a system recovery.

  • HP Pavilion HauppaugeWinTV HVR 1290 and Windows 7 - Audio stuttering problem

    Hi all

I have the WinTV HVR 1290 card installed in a new building.  Window7 Media Center does a great job, support the DVR functions.

I searched for the latest drivers that HP has on Windows7/64 Bit support.  The current problem is that the recovery of a sleep almost always ends with an Audio stuttering problem.  A reboot clears the stuttering.

HP probably has some drivers of Windows7 pre-release for sold third party hardware integrated into the Media Center PC.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Audio visual problems with Windows XP

I hope someone can help me - I have a problem that's driving me crazy! I have a Satellite Pro A120, running Windows XP.

It began during the last week, ever since I got an update. Computer starts fine, but when I open some software (Word or Outlook), the screen seems to jump and my familiar taskbar going green/blue grey - not the same as the taskbar Windows classic because the Start button is displayed in a big.

Added to that I lose sound so I can not play videos - I opened to the top of sounds and Audio devices, and nothing is selected with the shaded volume bar and the pointer to the left. Also, I have my Office 2003 programs put in place to open in a nice shade of blue... but now they open in gray. More depressing!

I have a round work is to "let it happen", back on the desktop, select the Windows Classic theme, then the XP theme, then go to the run menu, type services.msc and 'start' Windows Audio and then everything seems OK... until I start it again!

Have tried setting a Restore Point earlier - this has not solved the problem.

Have you tried the patch XP KB 935448 from the Microsoft support site - this has not solved the problem.

Phoned A Tosh and speaks at a high-level technician (sweet girl) who really can't help me... have forced me to re - install the latest version of the sound driver she thought it might be a hardware problem - can not see it is a hardware problem myself.

Grateful for any help. Thank you very much.

    Hello Lindsay

First of all, I must say that it is really not easy to deal with such problems, especially for the technical support agents. They must define if there is some hardware or software problem designed Toshiba. It's really not easy to be able to relate to this suddenly or after update problems.

If system restore didn't help something serious. Maybe you should really backup your data and do some clean OS install.

    (1) try reinstalling the audio drivers from the drivers disk that should
    came with your PC.
    (2) try to do a restore to the point where the problem wasn't there:
Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore
    (3) download and install the latest driver from the manufacturer's website.

  • I can't open windows dev, required audio hardware is not detected

My computer says: "Windows movie maker cannot be used because the required audio hardware is not detected on your computer".

The audio material is on my computer. I downloaded the audio to youtube, I have changed it to an AVI file with www.zamzar.com

    Can someone help me please?

It is already very clear. The audio from your computer does not meet the minimum requirements of Windows Movie Maker.

Hardware audio here refers to the audio device (common examples are Realtek and Conexant High Definition Audio) in your computer and not the audio file you want to add to the film.

Audio drivers may be damaged or have problems.

Please tell the following details on your PC-

    * Manufacturer/OEM (HP, Dell, Sony, Acer, MSI, etc..)

    * The series and model

The information could be useful to find the updated drivers for your audio device.

Also, press the Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER. Expand sound, video and game controllers, and then check that your audio device is there. Also, double-click on your audio device, click the general. The State of the device should be "this device works correctly. If it displays errors or problems please post a description of the State of the device with the error code here.

Also, try to download and install Windows Movie Maker Version 2.6.

  • Adobe first CC 2015 reset the Audio hardware settings

    Hello

I have a curious scenario; I think that it is related to all these discussions about audio problems in first CC 2015. I have a client running a new Mac Pro with CC 2015. It worked fine for several months until last week. First began to change the audio settings in Control Panel preferably on its own. The symptoms are that audio stops completely and video playback stops working as well. You see just a still image from the video. This happens on after 10-15 minutes of editing. We have been able to temporarily fix things in going in the Audio hardware preferences and changing output and input built-in by default. Which only solves the problem for 10-15 minutes well. After that, we need to restart the machine in order to restore playback. This happens with any project.

My client is running first for 2015 CC version 9.0.0. (247) here's a screenshot of its audio hardware settings and OSX sound control panel.

    Preferences Audio Hardware.png

I think that things should be set to audio built-in by default. But what happens is first keeps changing the default entry, the default output and Master Clock to tell the Audio display fields. Sometimes it shows as DisplayPort as well. Notice that this is different from the output that we defined in the acoustic Panel. We have removed our media Cache files and this always seems to happen.

Any advice on what is happening?

    Hi André,.

The 9.0.2 patch for Premiere Pro CC 2015 comes out that has a fix for the Multicam. Please update and verify.

I just updated from CC 2014v2 until 2015.

When I open any project or create a new and import any media type - I get a yellow warning at the bottom of the display window showing 'no audio output channel valid for found a reading. Please check audio hardware preferences. "When you press Play, no sound plays and the read head does not move.

Here is my audio hardware preferences - Realtek is my only option. Everything was going well in 2014 CC this afternoon and I have CS6 installed, which opens and reads the clips and audio without problems while listing the Realtek as the output device.

I could solve this problem by removing all plug-in in the directory "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore", which fixed the problem, then replacing them in batches until the returned error.  In this case, it was an outdated version of an addon Bluefish444.

  • "The device has changed and no output channel is present. Open Audio hardware preferences? »

    Hello

I installed an infusion of SSD and fresh install of Windows 7 64-bit, including the installation of Adobe CC with premiere pro and other related applications. My audio works fine, I have a portable speaker connected to the back of the audio 'line in the green plug' at the back of my office, have not had any problems with her.

However when opening Adobe PP for the first time I get the message "the device has changed and no output channel is present. You want to open the Audio hardware preferences. At the opening of the entry default preference reads "no devices available (does not). I was unable to change the value by default using the box entrance, but was able to change the default output. I changed the default output to ' speakers (device 2-high definition audio) and after that I got an error that read "sorry a serious error has occurred which caused Adobe PP stopped." We will try to save your work)".

Is anyone able to help with this, I don't know how to set up the audio setting is all new to me. Also do not know why this has happened given my audio works fine in any other program that I use on my pc. Any help from an expert on this forum would be greatly appreciated. My first guess is to check and possibly update the audio driver.

  • Audio hardware parameters: ASIO kills my output

Hello. Thanks in advance for your help, and it's here, right to the point.

    Prior information:

    • I have a 5.1 normal speakers that play across the map internal sound on my motherboard.
    • I record with a TASCAM U.S. - 144MKII (USB Audio Interface).

    Problem:

    • When I turn on the ASIO in Audio hardware settings, I can record perfectly, but he can no longer hear the playback of sounds.

    Question:

    • ASIO seems to have only a "peripheral" parameter does not separate the parameters "inputs" and "outputs". How do I use ASIO to configure input devices and output for what they should be (above)?

    Additional info:

    • In Ms. peripheral class menu, it shows my entry as the TASCAM and my output than the speakers, which is how it should be. When I use these settings, I can hear the reading, but I can't save. I can arm a track for recording and see the displacement of indicator levels as I type the microphone, but when I press the (red dot) real record button, it gives me this error message:

    sample rates error.PNG

Just after I posted, I had a revelation that has solved the problem with the Mrs. I had everything except 96 kHz playback settings in Windows. Now that my input AND output windows are set to the same sampling frequency as the parameters of the hearing TASCAM AND settings of the hardware, it works. I didn't know the output settings of Windows affected anything. I thought that if I could hear playback where ASIO has been set at 96000, then exit Windows settings must be correct, but I was wrong. I think I'll just stay with Ms. settings so I don't have to mess with additional drivers, especially since I really need more or diagnostics options and it not upward quality everything.

    Thanks for all the help.

  • Diagnostic tool hardware problems on Satellite has detected memory

Diagnostic tool memory detected in my laptop hardware problems. Now I don't know what part of the hardware's fault.

Whenever I start my laptop after shoutting it down for some time, it appears failed early and repair takes place and start using the system restore that will come back at some point.

Is that what this has to do anything with overheating?
    Please help me immediately

    > Diagnostic memory tool detected hardware problems in my laptop. Now I don't know what part of the hardware's fault.

I would assume memory one or two failures of modules.
I recommend you to check them both.

Remove a module and try to use the laptop with a connected module.
Then another module test. Make it as different memory locations.

If two modules are corrupt, then you will need to replace both.

  • Wireless - hardware problem?

I have a laptop HP V3018CL. I have a wireless issue. I can not connect what either. But here's the weird part, I can't find my int Device Manager listed wireless card. I can't find in the Network Neighborhood properties. And the WiFi (in front of the laptop is sold red / (Orange)?) I'm not good with colors) (it was blue)

Yesterday, I was chatting with HP support.

It was the most frustrating conversation of my life. I told them exactly what I had done, the syptoms, everything and then the guy goes, we go just to install drivers. Even if I told them, it's a hardware problem, the orange light, the device, the update of the firmware Manager. All this fell on deaf years. It seemed that the guy knew nothing of the software support and read just via a script. arrrrggghhhhhhh! IT IS THE LAST TIME THAT I WILL EVEN INVEST IN A CV!

so I just buy an adapter wifi for 30 dollars and call it a day!

  • Sony XBR-55X850D audio sync problem with Xbox One S

Recently bought a new Sony X850D 55 '' TV, it's my 3rd Sony TV the past 10 years, and the first I had a problem with.

I use the TV mostly for games on my Xbox One S, but have found that there is some dramatic audio synchronization problems. The sound coming out behind what is displayed on the screen (IE. Close door, sound audible is later). Xbox is connected to the TV via HDMI to input 1. I also have a bar of his (CT380) connected via HDMI output HDMI-4 ARC.

I tried with and without the Soundbar without result. 3 different cords HDMI do nothing. Using my old Xbox One compared to the new One S has no difference. Question was not present on my old Sony TV. Tried with ClearAudio on and out, no change. I can't find all the parameters of sound synchronization in both of the TV, bar, or Xbox.

    Running Version 5.1.1

    Thank you

    Jerome,

I could solve my problem using HDMI from the Xbox to the sound bar HDMI then another sound to the TV bar.

    Thanks for the good help!
