Audio IBM 8183-DTU?

Is there a workable Win 7 audio driver for this machine?

I tried the Lenovo support site, and the Configurator says:

something to the effect of "no results found".

This machine has been purchased from geeks.com as a refurbished

PC before they close their online sales and the sound was

at that time, but due to recent problems with casual work

& apparently random auto-redémarre, I had to format the HD and

Reinstall windows with the dvd of win7 SP1.

Good afternoon and welcome to the community.

Here is your driver repository: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?LegacyDocID=MIGR-50535

but from the looks of it, there is very limited support Windows 7. When you got the machine worked it 7?

Kind regards.

It seems that I can not find such a product to investigate errors on this forum, if I'm not mistaken...

All of a sudden, the machine DOES not start and it seems he is stuck after 2-3 seconds of power in... I checked all connectios inside, they seem fine... no cable has been disconnected... I guess that the BIOS should be checked with a professional tool... No display at all on the port VGA at all... so boring and irritating

Check your motherboard battery. I have seen machines with used batteries work perfectly as long as they were connected, only the failure of the first time they are disconnected, then restarted.

  • Reset the read audio wave

    Hi all

We are a group of students from DTU and we work with software defined radio in a 3 week course where we will be designing a radio station FM/receiver.
We encountered a problem regarding resetting the position marker file in the sound file Read.vi. Our attempt must be a reset button which, once clicked resets the wave at 0 file marker so that the next reading occurs from the beginning of the audio file. We tried to use the absolute/relative position associated with a variety of ways to use the position of input and output offset offset, but with a bit of luck. The shift seems to be growing quickly or refuse to read the data when reset causing an underflow in our component of Tx.

Any who would be able to provide a simple example to reset the sound file Read.vi, or is it necessary to launch a whole new instance/component?

    Thank you much in advance.

    Hello

I have problems with my Lenovo T60, I ran all the updates and installed all the drivers that I am able to install, with the exception of 1 pilot that I can't find anywhere. It is the sound driver, I checked everywhere on the internet for days and still not able to find the right driver that works. I called the help line IBM Lenovo and all they can do is tell me the Web site to go because there is no guarantee that more than a dozen times already visited. If there is anyone here who has a Lenovo T60 (8744 5BU) laptop, please help me here, or if someone is able to help that would be great. Questions please ask, I can give more information. Thank you.

You need more that just run the downloaded exe file.  Run this file (77a224ww.exe) just to extract the necessary files and puts them in a directory on your hard drive.  It does really settle anything.

Did you read the Readme, particularly the "installation instructions"?  Have you noticed that you need to uninstall any previous drivers before installing the new?

  • I recently had to re - install Windows XP on my computer and lost all my stored programs. Now my speakers do not work. The control panel says no audio device. What should I do to recover my audio? None

My audio does not work. It worked before I re-install Windows XP. What should I do? I'm supposed to have an audio installation disc? I'm new on the technical aspect of computers, so I know only the basics?

Using the Device Manager is a good way to get the drivers, but if you do a clean install on a computer or laptop, you must download the supplied drivers initially installed on the computer or laptop to the manufacturer. that is, if you have a Dell, then go to the Dell website.
    the site Web of HP/Compaq
    the Site of Asus
    Acer site
Alienware website (Now owned by Dell)
    eMachines Web site
    IBM Web site
    Sony Web site
    Toshiba Web site

Have I no all the em? Anyway, if you have a driver supplied with the computer disc, use this cuz he'll have original manufacturer drivers and the software that you get on the website anyway.
Also, if it's a Dell, you would like to have a look and print their Instructions on how to install the drivers, Dell cuz drivers must be installed in a specific order.
    Good luck.

    Hello Lenovo Community Support Team,

I have a T42 with no audio.  I tried to download the sound driver of http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-55386.html, but for some reason I couldn't download it on the T42.  I downloaded this same driver on another laptop and then copied this software in the c drive of the T42.  On the T42, I went on 'Run' and open the Audio driver.  After you install the driver, I restarted the laptop, but still no audio.

    Can you help me please?

Is it possible to fix this; Thanks in advance.
