  This is because Microsoft has by AutoPlay is disabled by default.  Go to start > computer, you can then open the DVD from there and start the installation program.  If AutoPlay does not start when you double-click then please search for a file called Setup.exe or something similar.

  You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that affects the pref browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once true value.

  The user.js file is present than if you or another software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be here.
  You can check its contents with a text editor (right click: open with) If you do not create this file yourself.

  The user.js file is read whenever Firefox is started and initializes the preferences to the specified value in this file, so the preferences set via user.js can be changed temporarily for the current session.

  Nothing has changed on my computer that I know. I use my MSN for my homepage & have had no problems with it before.

  Thanks for posting that question you in the Microsoft Community. According to the description of the problem, you are not able to install the updates. Provide the following information:

  ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

  ·         (Numbers KB) updates you install?

  ·         The issue is limited to a particular update?

  ·         You use a third-party security software?

  ·         Have what troubleshooting measures you tried?

  Follow these methods.

  Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software.

  Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  Method 2: Place the computer in a clean bootState to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow step 3 of section to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.

  Method 3: You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.

  I'm going to download and everything seems fine, even in the destination folder. Then once complete, it disappears and is not on the computer. I did all the suggestions and reset the configurations.

  It is possible that your antivirus software is corrupt downloaded files or otherwise interfere with the download of files by Firefox.

  Try disabling analysis in real time (live) files in your software anti-virus temporarily to see if that makes working download.

  Take a look and make sure that your accounts are always appear in settings.

  Tools menu > accounts settings... It could be something is just rubbish following the corruption caused by the accident, but I think it would be pretty obvious simply scroll through the account settings if they look like junk.

• Firefox 4.0.1 shows almost all of the text in bold. I start to record mode and sound fine, but when I disable all the addon then start in normal mode it broke again.

  So I updated last night, this morning I noticed that a lot of the text on Web sites are in bold.
  For example when doing web yahoo mail unread messages must be "BOLD", while read messages shouldn't be now, they are all "BOLD" anything.
  I started in safe mode, thinking that an addon was broken and at the normal search that seemed to confirm that.
  So I disabled all the addon and manually restarted in normal mode, the problem was back.

  I confirmed all was the addon still handicapped and restarted in safe mode once again, fixed... so I disabled both the plugin and extensions... still broken in normal mode.
  At one point I thought it might be the default aspect so I downloaded one that looks like 3.6 and this one broke... again.

  So that's what I'm wondering, what is not loaded in safe mode which is always loaded when you manually turn off all extensions and plugin?

  This could be a problem with the new features related to the police who are trying to use your graphics card. You can enable those here:

  Tools > Options > advanced > [disable] "use hardware acceleration when available.

  (It's one of the things that turn off safe mode.)

  I don't know if you'll see results immediately, or if you must restart Firefox.

  A few days ago I had to open Skype and wanted to do a livestream of my office for my friends. I downloaded the beta version of CamTwist 3.0, after which Skype crashed and refused to work since. I read all the suggestions to resolve this problem, including that on Cam Twist uninstalling, but none have worked so far. Whenever I try to open the program, it blocks until it reaches even the login screen. I was able to get to the login screen when I tried to install an older version of Skype, but this is now not taken in charge and does not connect.

  I just wanted to say that I found my own solution.

  First I emptied all of my cookies and Chrome max, then I uninstalled Skype by using AppDelete (which found that all files related to the programs you want uninstalled), camtwist, yet once UNINSTALLED, REINSTALLED reset my computer and reinstalled Skype.

  Sounds like some sort of ritual of voo - doo crazy, but it seems to have worked. I am dissatisfied with how buggy Skype continues to be, but I have little choice but to deal with, especially since Skype discontinued skypekit and does not allow third-party applications to use it.

  If you are referring to the playlist, artist, album & kind selection boxes, then I don't think that there is a way to uncheck those all at once.

  If you mean the boxes in the view of songs Ctrl + click and the checkbox to check or uncheck all of the boxes. Note, however, that the use of these boxes is a bad way to manage the synchronization. Uncontrolled songs are ignored in the normal course of track in track or shuffle playback. Better to use one or more playlists to control what is synchronized and have checked most, if not all of your library. Items not controlled in my library are things like interview bonus tracks that had never what to hear accidentally, I keep in my library.

  Hi Sam,

  On the front panel of the printer, scrool main screen to the right and the clock setting icon.

  Then click Printer Setup, and then select sound effects Volume.

  Select and confirm, that should disable all these sounds.
