• Audio tinny in questions of fcp10.3

  Hi everyone, I'm importing clips video mpeg4 of Dropbox, the audio sounds great they are studio quality registered. However, once imported into fcp, they sound "tinny."  I saw somewhere a post by checking the guarded hunting ground, but when I go to that in the menu audio checked it's grayed out, so I can't change it.  That's the problem, if so, how can I uncheck it or is there another solution to fixing this problem.

  Preserve Pitch applies only to the re-timmed audio.  MPEG4 audio is horrible to use for editing.  I strongly suggest optimizing those clips first, don't bother with MP4.  The audio is probably in a compressed format super duper inside this envelope.  That's the question, and only reformat audio compression will fix it.

  So far my experience with this version of the driver is quite ok, 5 bars work and the question of swing volume disappeared... but there is only one problem with this driver by which song / midtones / highs are higher, even with the default settings, which makes the audio less complete and the net resulting in less comfortable to listen... I tried to set the EQUALIZER, but she out of her just like hiding the harmony of the sound with the bass... but I'm fine with it now... If all goes well, there will be a more tuned up to the version of the driver after that... =)

  In the media in Premiere Pro CS6 browser I have no audio on my files .mts or .m2ts still Windows Media Player it plays very well. I also tried to change the file extension to .avi, .mp4 and .mwv and a lot of other hut still having the same problem

  I have been informed to know if I have the full version (it came pre loaded on the laptop), but I don't know how to do this.

  I really need help what people expect the world from me already

  Are these files MTS of a camera?

  In general the camera will give you also a few other folders with names like CLIPINF, PLAYLIST, BDMV and STREAM. (There are many variations depending on the manufacturer of the device). MTS files are usually in the stream folder. However for the first to be able to edit images directly, you need from all folders and all files exactly as the camera saved - not only the MTS files.

  If you only MTS files and that you have these other associated records, then you will need to convert them with another program until you can edit them in first.

• Audio into keyframes Question?

  I want to use Audio images key Assistant to a Knoll fire brighten up to the beat of the song, but if I have relatives on the Amplitude Audio for the 'brightness' layer creates the Knoll Light, the light mound is very dark, because keyframes "Audio" both about 20, where as the Knoll light should bounce around 100.

  So basically im asking if there is a way to have the bright Knoll light enough, while using the Audio into keyframes. Thank you!

  As Todd said, it is a linear expression. It looks like this:

  linear(value, 0, 20, 10, 100)
  

  To understand it begins on the first and read this sentence carefully.

• Driver Audio IDT (?) Question

  I had problems with my audio on my laptop. I have a HP Envy Sleekbook m6 model m6-k010dx running on Windows Update 8.1. A few months ago, I had problems getting my audio to work. I didn't know what I was doing, so I uninstalled by mistake and/or deleted Beats Audio, as well as the IDT, which is what I think caused my IDT drivers stop working correctly in the first place.
  I restarted my pc after trying to fix my audio, and he ended up telling me that I needed to update my computer. The update apparently failed, but miraculously my computer restarted a few days later. When I reviewed my files as well as all my drivers, nothing seemed wrong. However, I don't have the Beats Audio program longer, even if my IDT drivers seemed to work very well. Whenever I have try and run the beats, he told me that the startup.exe file is missing, which I suppose means it has, unfortunately, been removed.
  I'm not worried about it because I guess I felt lucky to get my audio back, so I have not dug too deep so far. Yet once, I'm having a problem getting my audio to work. I went into Device Manager, and my convenience store told me that it was another problem of driver.
  Yes, see no other way to go about this after trying but failing to have my computer to reinstall the driver, I uninstalled it manually; I thought that Windows would detect the missing driver and be able to solve this problem, so I rebooted and went into my device manager. Now, it gives me a different error, I have attached a screenshot. I have no idea how all of these problems, and all the help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

  I understand that you have a problem with your IDT audio driver for your HP ENVY m6-k010dx Sleekbook. I'll try my best to help you solve this problem. I recommend that you uninstall the driver that is in the device for IDT audio driver manager and then download driver Audio IDT high definition (HD) and install it before you restart your computer.

  Hello, it seems that the Simulator cannot read the HTML5 audio objects. tried my app AND tried a few pages HTML5 audio test on the browser that displays an error message like: "error on the decoding of files...". "Simulator is on 10.0.9.1673. Thank you

  The Simulator is currently missing audio codecs to play most media formats. You will not be able to test a lot of audio playback with the Simulator.

• 3850/3750 autonomous or Distribution stacked layer Question

  Hi all

  I have a client with three buildings all very close to the other dorsal 62.5 MM of fibre. They exceeded it current topology and I am trying to implement a distribution layer using a couple of 3750's or 3850's. They have already invested in Netgear at the access layer and I try to make the two work together, Cisco and Netgear. My experience is with Cisco don't know Netgear as well. The mixed vendor environment needs tests, the thing I'm not sure of using a distribution layer stacked with channels of ether of the access layer.

  The attached drawing shows the topology, I thought however, I have some concerns that I have documented in the drawing. Any advice would be appreciated.

  Would you consider using a chassis with redundant sup, power supplies and descenders, for the same device, on maps of different lines, as a device of distribution (or core)?  If so, it's about what you have with a battery (or VSS pair).  That is, if a frame (or a VSS pair) is a valid design, why a battery would be too.

  The benefits you have noted on your schema, for a battery would also apply to a frame (or a VSS pair).  Plus, you get more bandwidth.  PLEASE didn't need to block a redundant L2 path and stacking cables can provide more bandwidth then port 'normal '.

  EtherChannel should work between sellers using LACP.  (At least on Cisco, remember to choose an optimal hash algorithm.)

  The main disadvantage of a pile of Cisco, as a single chassis support redundancy, all the material is in a physical location.  Something is happening to this unique physical location, you lose this distribution node.

  Another downside, you are subject to a software problem, as a single logical device (applies also to the simple chassis or pair VSS), but with multiple devices of L2, you are then subject to defects of FHRP, STP, etc..

• Gradient layer question

  Mac OS X 10.5.8. PSE 6.0

  I would like to create a layer that contains a gradient that shades a transparent color (not white).  I don't see any way to do as the gradient of color/tool selector does not offer 'none' as a color selection.  Reducing the transparency of the layer does not either because the entire layer is also affected.

  The effect I want to achieve should gradually darken a underlying background layer, containing an image on the right to the left so that the left side of the image is not affected and the right appears more dark.  How can I achieve this?

  You specify a transparency in a gradient using the gradient editor. Assuming you are using the gradient tool, look in the options bar for the window that displays the currently selected gradient. Double click on this window. The gradient editor dialog box will go up. If it is just transparent color, you can consider using the foreground color in transparent "Preset". You can click on the color stop; Then, the sample color black to change the color if you wish. You can also create your own custom gradient. The opacity stops are pencil albums as arrows... fills the % check box to specify the opacity for this stop. Here's a tutorial on the use of the gradient editor.

  You can also get this same dialog box by using the gradient adjustment layer and the adjustment layer map gradient... even with these elements when selected in the menu bar.

• Scrolling image layer question

  We have a simple scroll designed framework so that the content (image and text) scrolls behind a graphic element. We lack in a problem where part of the ending point for the graphic framework is to stay behind the content of the framework. See the image below. We want that the image and text in the frame to stay behind the box labelled 'practice '. I don't know there is a simple solution to what we are simply missing.

  You will need to convert the PRACTICE chart to an overlay. Way the easiest way is to make a State two MSO AutoPlay once and stop on the last image. I would say making a vector overlay since it is text.

  I couldn't find a direct way to tell whether a layer is audio only.

  You can try the following:

  1 mean if a layer has the video and audio is on.

  AEGP_GetLayerFlags() you will get all the flags of the layer,

  and then check out AEGP_LayerFlag_VIDEO_ACTIVE and AEGP_LayerFlag_AUDIO_ACTIVE.

  It won't tell you if it is a real audio layer or active just a layer with its audio and video is disabled.

  2. check the source.

  AEGP_GetLayerSourceItem() you will get the project to this layer element.

  now use AEGP_GetItemFlags() and check AEGP_ItemFlag_HAS_VIDEO and AEGP_ItemFlag_HAS_AUDIO.

  If the source element of the layer has audio but has no video, it is definitely an audio only layer.

  3. go to java.

  You can use AEGP_ExecuteScript() and java for the control.

  However, I would like to use this method only if all else fails, and if the check is done rarely.

• Movement is useless if you need Audio

  I really don't understand how this app has been broken regarding audio for so long.

  I have a few questions that appeared with Motion 3, if I remember correctly these two questions are always in movement 5 and these issues were transferred in any other Mac too.

  Question 1: Motion 1 and 2 have been able to play my animated graphic and audio at the same time without any problems. I use audio in my motion graphics, of course. You have your sound FX, transition sounds, foley sounds and music. You have audio in video clips that you use, such as talking heads, etc. I did a project where I had a comics guy talk and I used an audio behavior to animate his mouth with the audio waveform. Good things.

  Movement 5 cannot play audio without clipping sounds. I have a Mac Pro 8 Core with bi 2013 - GPU 700, 32 GB of RAM and a TB Thunderbolt 2 RAID 10 disk that reads 930 Mbps. It modifies the RED images in real time so I think that it can read from small sounds.

  I have a simple project in this moment I have a few transition like whoosh and swish sounds, using sounds own Apple CAF on my system came with Final Cut Pro X. When I press the play button, the sounds are clipping or don't play at all. He cuts the first second or two before starting playback of the sound. If the sound is only in a second time, you don't even hear it.

  What boggles my mind is that Motion 5 same audio clips so I did a RAM Preview. He will play the audio.

  Question 2: after making a film ProRes of my Motion project, certain sounds are distorted. I've seen this issue with the movement for years. The audio sounds very good movement. I put the volume of it-4 db. I have not put on Jack up to + 6. Render out, looks like it's all deformed as it passes through a rock guitar amp.

  I really like Motion 5 but I'll have to go to After Effects, if I can't fix this audio problem. For this project, I work now, which must today, I'll have to keep this Final Cut Pro X and do the audio he. It's crazy, and it denies also all behaviors audio wonderful I could use.

  I had problems with M5 until recently. Audio would stutter and delay making any sort of audio animation an impossibility. But now, which has stopped, and I don't know why. I've not being updated at El Cap again. I think he played with 5.2.1 and continued with 5.2.2 but as I said now has resolved itself.

  What about other audio issues, audio and deformation fades. I dropped many years ago doing any kind of audio work in motion. I don't think it is built for this kind of thing. Usually I create a rough bed, use it as a guide, and then import the exported file the motion in fcpx or logic and finish than the audio.
