Audio problem on Satellite T130

Hello

I'm having a problem with my Satellite T130-11U.
When I try to watch a video, I can hear the music and other sounds, but not the voice of various characters. I have already installed the official drivers, what can I do?

Thank you

What types of video files you watch when this happen?
Videos on YouTube, self made video movies, avi/mpeg files or something?

I found the following in a forum thread [http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=235672𹢘] and thought it might be a solution, but when I go to the download page of intel, the description of this driver is the desktop PC and I can't find anything on my machine similar to rapid storage technology drivers, so this may be a dead end. This driver seemed to fix a similar problem in the 0ED.

I studied a bit and maybe you could fix this TSRI (Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver) V10.1.0.1008 update.
But before you do this, you must back up data from the HARD drive.

"I searched a bit and the upper V10.1.0.1008.or driver is available for download directly on the INTEL website under the following link: http://downloadmirror.intel.com/19607/a08/iata_cd.exe"

Any ideas or advice would be much appreciated. Thank you

After reading your issue described ad must be a hardware related issue seriously.
Did you test your laptop with the factory settings?
You hear this buzz using headphones too?

Have you tried to contact Toshiba service and ask if the problem can be?

Sorry, but it is not easy to understand exactly what is happening.

  • Audio problems with Satellite P200-1BA

... Hi, first, my English is bad... :D

    I have a problem - I bought the Toshiba Satellite P200-1BA
After I bought the laptop, I reinstalled the operating system (recovery DVD 1 time)-j' have audio, but I m missing the settings for the subwoofer + virtual surround sound + equalizer! ...
Now I m help legal windows Vista Ultimate Edition, installed all the drivers + utility for my laptop, the Toshiba site, but I can't yet find the settings...

Do I need an additional program for the improvement of the sound, or I need only the audio driver?
Once more, I can't speak English, but I hope, someone of you can understand me and can help me - thanks in advance!... ;-)

Do I have to use my subwoofer bass, virtual sound + Equalizer again?

As far as I know Toshiba doesn't offer a special software for that. All available parameters, you can find in the Realtek HD Audio Manager in the control panel.
Each player has own EQ options and when you listen to music with a few players check this option in the drive itself.

    That's all.

Select Device Manager. Go to the module controller Audio, video and game

Obviously, it was a stupid thing to do - how can I remedy this? Download anything from microsoft? Or is it a problem of Toshiba? My manual is no help.

    Hi Charlotte,.

You should be able to re - install the audio device from the utilities Toshiba (NOT recovery CD) CD that you received with your laptop.

  • Digital audio problems on Satellite A300 (PSAGCA-06M01N)

    Hey,.

A few weeks ago I noticed that my laptop is announced with the audio digital. I looked through the sound options of Windows, he told me it is in the front. After a lil' googleing I found out mini-Toslink (optical 3.5 mm).
I bought a cable, it is plugged in, does not work.
Made sure the drivers have been installed, everything seems to go well here.
Tested cable in my computer friends, cablings.

So now I don't know where to go from here?
For me, it seems that the socket or the plug inside is broken, because when I plug a normal headphone jack into the port, it pops up a message saying something just got plugged, however is not with the optical cable.

Someone at - it there HD Audio works on any similar Toshiba? Or does anyone have any ideas as to why it may not work?

    Thanks for any help!

    Hello

Not all A300 are equipped with a digital audio output
However, if you are sure that your laptop supports this feature then it should be possible to operate

You must make sure the digital output was chosen as default in Control Panel-> sound-> the Read tab.

If the digital audio output will not appear in the sound options then you must right-click and must check if both options are enabled; Show hidden devices and show disabled devices.

  • Satellite T130 - need help after update for Windows 8

    Hello

    I use Satellite T130 Y9075161W serial number.

There is no support for windows 8 (especially the drivers).
It's very disappointing. In my case, I installed windows 8 and I have a few problems.

The touchpad is 'dead' and the shortcut as WHAT WLAN cannot be used anymore.
Are there users who have installed windows 8 on this system?

    Best regards
    aisakos

You are right. This old piece of hardware is not supported for Win8 and Toshiba offer not only any what Win8 driver, the tool and the utility. You shouldn't be disappointed. Toshiba and other manufacturers of portable does not offer support for all operating systems, especially for older models of laptops.

It can be very problematic to use newer OS on the old machine.
I can see it is fully supported for Win7 64 bit so I think it's the best OS for this little machine.

In any case, let's see if some other owners have little luck with Win8 installed.

  • Satellite T130-11 t - need to clean the D partition and increase partition C

    Hi all
This is my first post and Im not a grumpy so apologies in advance. Ive tried searching the Internet for help with this but cant get long, it is therefore proposed that post.

I have a Satellite T130-11 t which has 232 GB HDD. Setting it up as 2 drives, C and D with 116 GB on each. The C drive is complete, but its probably just photos / movies so I can solve that by copying the external hard disk, but the D drive is roughly the same.

Ive looked at the directory and under HDD recovery it is a subfolder called swing and inside are 8 x .srm extensions and 2 x crc files, are all of 2009.

Files take about 8Gb and I can't delete them as it says I should do so under SYSTEM - the operating system is in German so Im a little hesitant exaclty, what the problem is - and systemfile nervous deletion.

Drive D but has more than 90 GB of info - when I click on drive D in Windows Explorer, it does not at all look like, there are all large files it. Could there be some hidden files not seen Im?

Performance is very slow and I want to save or delete/reformat the drive D to drain - any ideas how to clean my D drive please and ideally reduce its size and move some of the allocation of memory on the C drive without losing my data already on C?

I understand forums that the HARD drive is a recovery file, but should take only about 10 GB cannot so I a C of say 200 GB and 30 GB on D drive?

Yet once I don't want to corrupt or lose all data already C

Also when I start it, a message informs you that there are missing files in the directorym LOCAL smply disappeared.

    Thanks in advance

    MArk

My first question is: did you create a recovery (DVD or USB) media? If Yes, you can use this media for any new OS install when you want. With other words, you can delete all the partition recovery D if you want, but in my opinion you should not do this. If these recovery files are still there you will also be able to use the HARD drive recovery facility.

    > Drive C is full, but its probably a few photos / movies so I can solve that by copying on the external hard drive...
    Fix.
    >.. but the D drive is substantially the same. Ive looked at the directory and under HDD recovery it is a subfolder called swing and inside are 8 x .srm extensions and 2 x crc files, are all of 2009.
This file belongs to the original recovery image. More or less 10GB isn't a big deal. Leave it as it is.
    > Could it be Im not see hidden files?
It is not easy to say, because we do not know how your laptop is configured and what files should be saved on the D partition. What you can try is to open the control panel > folder options > view > and check for hidden files and folders. Choose the option Show hidden... files and check again the D partition.
    > Also when I start it, a message informs you that there are missing files in the directorym LOCAL smply disappeared.
In my opinion, nothing can simply disappeared.
I think you should check them all, back up all of your important and after data makes this OS install using original recovery image. After that do you have own OS preinstalled, portable will have better performance and also, I think that you will be happy again.

  • Satellite T130-16w does not always

Satellite T130-16w, more often than otherwise it does not.
Is it far from solving this.

Someone has looked at and said it's battery if it was he would not charge at all.
Could there be an error in the connection?

    Hello

It of difficult to tell if it s just one problem of battery or perhaps more serious hardware problems.

But I think that the battery needs to be checked at the first step.
You must also remove the battery and must run the laptop connected only to the power adapter.
The unit should work fine without a battery.

The point is that there's not much other option that requires a check if its not the battery or AC adapter problem, then probably the motherboard is affected

  • Integrated on my Satellite T130 webcam does not work

    Hi all

the built-in on my Satellite T130 webcam does not work.

I use Windows 7 Home Premium and already reinstalled the drivers of webcam 64-bit through this Web site. However, when I click on the webcam application, simply, nothing happens - program doesn't open at all or turn off instantly. Skype is not also acknowledge a cam. In addition, there is no webcam in Device Manager (a not detected USB device however) and no symbol of cam in the Ribbon of Toshiba quicklaunch, which is like the camera is started according to the "manual".

Someone has an idea what is the problem? Looks like a common problem according to Google, but no suggestions other than to reinstall the drivers. Perhaps another application blocking the camera? Firewall settings?

I'd appreciate any help, thank you.

    Best regards Florian

    > a USB not detected if

Maybe it's the webcam from the webcam is connected to the internal USB controller on the motherboard.

It looks like a webcam driver is not installed correctly.
Try the webcam driver released for the satellite t230 or other series of satellites.
    Versions are newer

Also recommend that you check the BIOS settings.
In some cases, the BIOS contains a webcam option where the webcam can be turned on and off.

  • Satellite T130 - 10G: Firefox does not read any video or flash content more

My Firefox does not read any video or flash content more. And in watching the news of repair troubleshooting/malfunction in Firefox under graphics, he said that "Direct2D activated" and 'WebGL Renderer' have been blocked because of the version of the graphics driver.

I downloaded a new version on the Toshiba site, but an update of the driver can not find the new version.
I had briefly solved the problem by installing the new driver from the file but it is not recognized in Device Manager.

Automatic update through Windows just tells me that the driver is up-to-date.
    I have the Satellite T130 - 10G.

Would be great if someone could help.

    Thank you!

Hmmmm... as you know Toshiba doesn't support third party software so I think that your question has nothing to do with Toshiba directly.

You find the same content with other browsers?

  • Satellite T130 - HDMI display does not

    Hello

I'm trying to view my Toshiba Satellite T130 on my Toshiba 32 '' LCD TV, model 32BV702B, using an HDMI cable. The computer recognizes the TV and when you use desktop double or extended, the builtin laptop screen behaves as expected. However, the TV shows "No Signal" when the HDMI input is selected.

We have another laptop with an HDMI output, and this configuration works very well. On two laptops, we use a 1366 x 768 display.

Anyone know how I can get this working on the Toshiba laptop?

    Thank you.
    Ellie.

(P.S. It seems that someone had a similar problem: [http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=205123]. In this case, the solution was to use a VGA instead of HDMI cable and the original problem has not been resolved. I really want to use my HDMI cable!

Well, the other option attempts to retrieve the laptop using the HARD drive recovery or a recovery created with preinstalled Toshiba Recovery creator software image.

I read that the other thread and the other user did not try this
On the other hand, you can try to set the default BIOS and save the changes. Do not forget that the HDMI is it activated.

    Also, try this:
Disconnect the battery and AC adapter
Wait a few hours (3-4 hours) and then press the power button / stop for 30 seconds.
Connect the two parts, and then test the laptop computer s HDMI.
