Audio stuttering on MBPro Sierra

I'm on a MacBook Pro installed macOS 10.12 retina end 2013 (Sierra).  For several years, I have used a bluetooth JBL of Charge 2 for this portable audio speaker (and sometimes my iPhone and other iPhones).  He has always worked flawlessly.

Today when I hit play on the audio iTunes began badly stuttering.  After several searches, advice and read everything that I could find (especially regarding similar issues on other versions of the operating system as El Cap, Yosemite, etc.), I did the following, without result:

• Not matched and repaired the speaker

• Restarted/rebooted both the speaker and the MBP

• Reset NVRAM and SMC

• Redownloaded and reinstalled Sierra

• Reset NVRAM memory new

The problem persists.

Note: I have also been hang this portable projectors in the classroom for several years via a port mini display to VGA and have never had a problem.  Since the upgrade to Sierra, can I talk to is no longer in the spotlight (my MBP always spoke to my external monitors (via the adapter, even) but not the spotlight.  I wonder if these issues are linked, at least to the extent where they came after the upgrade to Sierra.  Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Moments after the announcement of this question, I went into my list of connection and uninstalled Knock, an application that allows to unlock the lock screen by knocking on an iPhone.  And here, the sound works fine now.

I guess I should have posted earlier, because I found the solution immediately after.  At least the bluetooth problem is now solved!

  • HP Pavilion HauppaugeWinTV HVR 1290 and Windows 7 - Audio stuttering problem

    Hi all

I have the WinTV HVR 1290 card installed in a new building.  Window7 Media Center does a great job, support the DVR functions.

I searched for the latest drivers that HP has on Windows7/64 Bit support.  The current problem is that the recovery of a sleep almost always ends with an Audio stuttering problem.  A reboot clears the stuttering.

HP probably has some drivers of Windows7 pre-release for sold third party hardware integrated into the Media Center PC.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Tecra A8: audio stutters during playback of CD/DVD on Win2K

We recently started having the laptop Tecra A8 and we run Win2K on them. Everything works well except during playback of CD audio or DVD. Audio stutters really bad (worse with DVD to CD).
I tried to remove the silent acoustics and re - install the audio drivers but same problem.
As a test, I put the WinXP preinstalled on one, and then there is no problem. May be driver related issue, but we do not have the best experiences using XP drivers on a Win2K machine.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know on the Tecra A8 has been preloaded with a Realtek HD Audio driver.
I guess you also need the same kind of audio driver for W2k.
This unit uses a link high-definition audio, and I think you'll need driver that supports this chip.

See the Toshiba driver for W2k drivers page. In addition if you don t use the Toshiba Recovery CD you need to install all the drivers of Toshiba in the right order. Please see the installation instructions and follow this guideline.

  • Satellite L450D: audio stutters slows down and jumps

The sound on this laptop is terrible, whenever I do anything on the laptop everything by playing a song (my music) the audio stutters - slows - jumps and sounds generally garbage.

I have a collection of great mp3 on another computer and try to listen to songs while surfing or working on this laptop.
It is almost impossible to listen to them.
I thought that this could be due to streaming over a wireless network, so I have a few copied on the laptop, but there is absolutely no difference

I tried Windows Media Player and winamp, changed and played with the settings and finally reinstalled the driver (Realtek Semiconductor)
    Yet is still is catastrophic.

I think back the useless thing.

I assume you have tested with factory settings and drivers pre-installed.
    What to say?
Try disabling all unnecessary background activities. Some scan of the HARD drive or anything else is perhaps responsible for stuttering. The fact is that this laptop doesn't have Harman/Kardon speakers, so you can not expect better sound quality than on laptop with these high-quality speakers.

In the end, I must say that I agree with you. If you are not satisfied, try to contact your local dealer and bring the laptop. Get a new one.

  • Lag and Ideapad Z410 win 8 audio stuttering

I used this laptop for almost 2 weeks. Everything is going very well, but 3 questions that quite significant

The first problem is the audio latency

At first, it went well... But, a week, I noticed that the audio became stuttering and even in some cases, that it sounded like a robot voice. I tried to plug the adapter to see if the power management makes audio stuttering, but it does not solve the prob. Then I reinstalled the audio driver, it solved the problem for a few days but stuttering returned.

The second problem is the lag

I noticed that the laptop performance degrade while running in battery operation, even if I changed the power mode performance plan and programs forced to use the Nvidia card only. But the performance never be as good as when the computer laptop adapter is plugged.

  • IDT HD Audio stuttering apps/games/tf2 3d - Windows 7 x 64 - Pavilion dv7-4113tx

According to the rules, I have need of the State:

I am an employee of HP, my views/opinions/etc are mine and do not reflect those of HP.

I filed a bug report kind - but I don't know where to start, I do not work in an area that has nothing to do with the manufacture of products from HP; It is my free time now and I do not have intranet access .

I recently got a HP Pavilion dv7-4113tx Entertainment Notebook PC [XV780PA] for my personal use, and overall, it was very good. It comes with windows 7 Home Premium x 64 bit.

There is however a problem I have to implement what concerns games, or I guess any application intensive 3d, especially Valve games, my criterion of choice is Team Fortress 2. Edit: another game that stuttered, but less frequently - Serious Sam HD.

The game works perfectly in native resolution (ed: change the lower resolution will not affect the bug)-I'm moving 100-120fps but about every 30 seconds - 2 minutes, there is an audio/video stutter (stuttering, she repeats the dernieres.5 seconds of audio about 3 - 4 times in a loop while the screen freezes on where begins the first audio stuttering) which will make the game of 'freeze' for about 2 seconds and then continue where you left off.

Team fortress 2 is an incredible critical moment online multiplayer game, and this delay essentially means my e-death several times.

I thought at first that it was the graphics card or drivers - I put drivers at latest on the ATI site, which has increased my fps, but the stuttering was always there. After searching around on the internet a bit, I found a suggestion to turn off the audio driver (like - Device Manager lists IDT High Definition Audio CODEC) as test - so I did.

The game purrs like a kitten - absolutely no stuttering. my score went up immediately

So, my next step was to try to get updated for the IDT Audio device drivers (note, I can't find a name of model anywhere in the features of hp - or on the internet really) - I've discovered IDT themselves cannot release the pilots, that these can be obtained through OEM.

    which brings me here.

now - closest to the drivers, I found I needed here: Driver Audio IDT high definition (HD) for Microsoft Windows 7

Note: - it says on the page that they are 32-bit drivers - but I found that they work with the 64 bit version of windows.

These worked a little better - he fixed another problem - by the way if you use volume controls in an application full screen which she will spend on the desktop to display the scroll bar on screen volume down (what was probably redundant because windows 7 displays the volume of the speaker in the lower right corner)- and he turns just the audio down as expected.

However - the stuttering is still very much present .

Then, I tried to use the wizard to Support HP to run automated diagnostics and troubleshoot... which then downloaded the old drivers who gave me this issue of full volume control screen back again once - so I guess that the original drivers.

So I installed the other drivers again.

My next test will be to use an external USB sound card to see if that will allow me have games with sound.

An agent appropriate at HP can you please address this concern and notify when this bug - IDT says they work with OEMS to solve problems on a regular basis on the IDT link above.

In my view, that it is a question that will probably require a bug fix.

EDIT: I will cross-post this to the game as well.

second edition: added serious sam, res fullscreen downgrade info, reference removed firewire firewire no!

Got a solution as possible here. Without changing the HARD drive (for me problem was there).

  • Intermittent audio stuttering in Windows 7 64 bit

I had Windows 7 works fine for a few months and now I suddenly get an audio stuttering on my sound every 1-2 minutes.  It does not matter if the noise comes through a player game or music he'll do the same stuttering audio.  I made sure that my drivers are up to date and I have the latest version of the BIOS installed on my computer.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I lived the same problem and none of the various solutions on this topic or other sites worked.  I ran the resource monitor program and found that the svchost.exe services were fortification intermittently and aid of up to 100% of the capacity of the CPU.  I then restored Windows 7 to its original settings - be reinstalled through the methods of recovery, advanced in the control panel.  So far, the problem disappeared.  It's a radical solution, but it was a lot less time to try all the solutions at random, without success.

I don't know which version this started on, but he did until I upgraded to El Capitan, and it's also on my older Mac Pro 2.66 Tower. It is almost immediate. I can work on a project in After Effects by listening to iTunes. All right. As soon as I switch on do first at the forefront, iTunes will begin to stutter. Or, even if I do not have open iTunes, just reading a sequence in first - the sound stutters. As soon as I switch to After Effects, the audio is smooth again.

  • Inspiron N7110 - video freezes / audio stutters / CPU use spikes

    Hello

Recently, I'm having a problem watching videos (on my laptop and internet). The problem is that the video freezes for a second, while the audio stutters. What I also noticed is that with this problem, the resource monitor displays this: http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/7656/freezingr.jpg .

When he first started I thought it was a cooling problem, because my CPU cooling fan had become very noisy. Well, I changed the fan and the continuous problem bothers me. I did a few other things to try to solve this problem: uninstalled and reinstalled the Intel HD Graphics driver, ran chkdsk - both does not solve the problem. I ran a full diagnosis of Dell in http://www.dell.com/support/Diagnostics/us/en/19/ , but he did not take questions. I googled the problem, but I was not able to find a solution. I'd appreciate any help. My laptop is that 8 months.

Can someone help me? My unit set up a video memorial to a deceased soldier. The audio and video play fine on the timeline, but when the rendered and serious on a DVD-audio stutters constantly. My soldier exports to QuickTime using a GOV'T computer.

You need to export from Premiere Pro using predefine the MPEG2-DVD and import the TWO files (audio and video) in yet for the creation of

When you export the body using any other codec, you have created a layer of compression... and since then still must re - encode the video to make it legal for a DVD, you just create a 2nd layer of compression
