  I think you'll do OK with the Audio Mixer Panel. But, you can explore keyframing the volume level of the audio element 'elastic '. It is the orange line which runs horizontally through the middle of the audio clip.

  a. hold CTRL of the computer main keyboard and the left mouse click on a place where you want to place a keyframe volume. You can do it in as many places on the rubberband if necessary. Then, with the mouse cursor, move the White points (keyframes) up or down to increase or decrease the volume to a location along the clip.

• Lack of access to the balance of audio volume control

  The balance function is 'available', but now hidden in Windows 7. Is it possible to use a script or macro to quickly access the balance control?   A previous post, "can not balance sound in Windows 7", addressed to this situation with a label that showed more frustration a question. The response was useless for recommended action reduces the string above: click right volume (icon)--> (list) of sounds--> reading (tab)--> helmet (icon)--> properties (button)--> levels (tab)--> Balance (button)--> press '1' (scroll bar) and the key '2' (scroll bar)!

  My comments are: 1) I could not designed access more complicated if I had a degree in software development. 2) what's up with "Key 1" and "key 2"? People have a left ear and right ear. (3) I read that more than 10% of the American population live with hearing loss. The loss is not symmetrical. A balance of ready-access control is an important element.

• With Beats Audio volume control does not completely

  I have a Pavilion dv6-6108us and you have reformatted for a new version of Windows 7 Home Premium for the purchase of the new laptop two years ago. Shortly after reformatting, I reinstalled all the drivers for my laptop. The problem I have is that I installed Beats Audio on my laptop computer and before reformatting, using volume keys up and down the keyboard would bring a picture of a cd with the Beats logo on the screen with a monitor of how high was my volume. This does not appear since I reformatted my laptop and it's very annoying to have to guess a good level for my volume. Opening of the Windows original to get to the correct volume mixer is very annoying. No matter what type of response is appreciated and thanks in advance.

• Beats Audio Volume indicator WENT after IDT HD Audio update!

  Just bought the HP Envy 17 t-3000 (Envy 17 model custom) and I updated all drivers through HP Support Manager.

  BEFORE the update, the Beats Audio worked fine...

  1. press on the knob and the popup box appears about 3 seconds

  2 whirlwind indicator volume seems to display the volume level.

  AFTER the update, something changed the Beats Audio... had to re - install the latest driver from the HP Web site (even after the contact with HP Tech support chat and email several times)...

  1. press on the knob and the popup box appears about 10-12 seconds now!

  2 whirlwind indicator volume DISAPPEARED for volume level indicator is GONE

  Of course the sound works but NOW I do NOT know or remember the volume level whenever I listen to music.

  You can barely tell on the speaker icon to Windows on the toolbar since 2 sound waves indicate at least 50% of its level, but that's all!

  I have the software following and checked their settings and put everything to 50% and use the Beats Audio dial to control the volume when the programs are used:

  1 WinAmp

  2 VLC player

  3 MPC

  4 WMP

  No matter what I try, it appears that the Beats Audio Volume Control indicator Swirl is GONE! Worse still, there is NO Windows switch order volume at least don't let the open Volume mixer!

  Someone knows how to solve this problem and bring back the Audio Beats volume indicator?

  HP Tech support insists on doing a re clean - install of the operating system to its original state after suggesting to do reinstall partial of restore points. Already tried restore but points only some since there were MANY because of various updates and none brought the Volume indicator.

  Perform a total OS re - install would be the LAST attempt given I have to reinstall all the programs and updated ONCE again that would be laborious!

  Without knowing exactly which updates HP Support Assistant is installed, try the following first and let me know.

  Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

  When you are done, reboot the laptop and let Windows load completely.  Open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again.

  Then, download and install HP display to the screen from following link.

  Once again, when the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

  What is now working properly and what is not, or is there no change?

  Here is a variation on the script. Two major differences. First, it inserts a little bubble with a character and only shows the cursor when you hover over that. Second, it is designed to add the controls next to any audio < > without any customization, so there is a chance that it will work on your PBX page, assuming it is the space for the cursor.

• How to fix the loss of control of the audio volume?

  The speakers on my laptop work well, apart from any browser. However, in FF or IE audio volume is stuck barely audible, even if I have the volume of the wheel set up. I'm in a Windows XP, using FF 16.0.1 environment.

  After removing and reinstalling Flash Player 11, I noticed that the sound control on each video has been set to minimum. I just slipped the sound control upward at the bottom of the video in question, and I got sound. I don't know what caused the sound to zero at least, but the problem seems to have been resolved. I hope that more than a few hours this time.

  I have upgraded my PC base unit and no longer have the output of the Speaker Volume I had before. The audio output is more silent than before with the same speakers I used. I have moved all the sliders on the control panel of the Volume on their maximum position, but still can't get enough of output to the speakers. I checked using Device Manager drivers and hardware to work properly. The problem is software because I can achieve the required high speaker volume if I use VLC Media Player and set the volume to 200%. With Windows Media Player, set the volume to 100% is sufficient. I'm looking to increase range parameter on the control panel of Volume as a general solution. Can you advise if this is possible? I looked at a few ideas, these courses: edit files (.inf) SoundMAX driver. Modify the registry keys concerned. Use different audio drivers (none seem to be available for my hardware). Install the software to boost the audio output (VLC Media Player should be achieve this somehow). Install alternative (rollback) Microsoft drivers. Any advice would be much appreciated.

  Just an update of my efforts on this issue.

  I revisited the audio registry settings SoundMAX for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\ \0005\Settings {4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}. These are installed when you install the driver for SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio. Changing these settings has already failed to get an increase of output audio volume. I have now found some settings of the value of these registry keys that have given me a satisfactory increase in the volume of the audio. In short, the cure for my situation was:

  The file source (wdm3516b_Cadenza.exe) driver available from the Download Center Intel is a self-extracting ZIP file. Unzip this file to a location convenient temporary store (C:\Temp)

  Use a text editor (Notepad) to edit the INF of the driver - in my case, it's "smwdmCH4.inf. Changes to this file cause the digital signature of the file to be invalid, but choose "Continue Anyway" to solve this problem during the installation of the driver. To increase the sound volume levels, the audio volume registry key value parameters that have been predefined 08 (hex) have been changed to 01 (hex). I suppose that this change dB levels produced by the SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio.

  To install the new settings:

  Uninstall the SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio hardware by using Device Manager.

  Restart the PC - this should give a "new hardware found" restart of the PC.

  Use Device Manager to reinstall the driver for SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio. Do not use the automatic selections for this - run the installation process where you stored the INF driver edited file.

  Once installation is complete, a check on the properties of the device must indicate that the device is functioning properly.

  Use regedit to check that changes in the edited file driver INF appeared in the area of the Windows registry - in my case, it is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\ {4D36E96C-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} \0005\Settings.

  I will emphasize that it is NOT a recommended fix - it turns out that it worked for me. The usual caveats apply - save your original settings, or better yet, use software disk image to make a copy of your drive hard so that you go back to square one if she's going "pear-shaped" with adaptations that have been made.

  You can use the Ctrl key and then click with the regular selection tool, clicking with ctrl will make a new keyframe. in this way, have no need for the tools. CTRL has other great shortcuts that will stop you having to spend retouching pads tools too.

  If the automation keyframe line is missing, you can switch on and off in the menu sequence.

• Creating a bar of the Volume control for multiple audio files

  I'm pretty new to Flash and developing a project with a series of images containing unique video clips. Each of these frameworks are accessible via a menu based all chapter in being visible straight like a regular movie. I just added the audio for each 'chapter' / framework, all of which are unique from each other. I'm having a problem with the creation of a volume control bar that affects all the sound elements throughout all the images in the control bar unique on the General interface/skin that these chapters are working on. (The control bar consists of a button nested in a clip and the action is applied to the mc. The bar/line to follow is 60px banner for a long time and control is to move horizontally while the increase reflects the increase in the volume. The original code was for a 100px line leave a tutorial from macromedia that I adjusted to be 60px banner) advice on best practices for the creation of a volume control bar would be greatly appreciated! • IOS App Remote - Volume control issues

  OK, so I downloaded the app recently released for Apple TV IOS. Everything works as expected, except the inconsistent Volume control.

  I have two Vizio TVs in my house - E701i-A3 and models M401i-A3. The volume via IOS app works perfectly on my E701i-A3 - pressing iPhone volume buttons triggers change in volume on the soundbar attached to this set.

  No luck with my M401i-A3 not set - by pressing the volume iPhone buttons does cause changes in local ringtone volume iPhone... that tells me something is not right with audio control EAC between ATV4 and the TV set. I do not use soundbar with this set - internal speakers only.

  Both sets are running the latest firmware of Vizio and CEC/audio is enabled. No problem to control the volume or turn the sets/turn off via the remote Siri material.

  Kind of ideas here... anyone have any ideas as to what the problem may be with my Vizio M401i-A3 defined? Someone at - it got IOS volume remote control works with other models of TV?

  Volume control requires HDM - CEC to ensure compatibility. It is quite possible that only one of your TV is compatible.
