  Photos files imported recently from my iPhone to my Macbook Air 6 do not appear when I search for them.  I need the file for use in an online advertisement.  For example, I click on a photo and click on read the information and IMG_1234.jpg is the name of the file, but when I search in the Finder for this ("This Mac") file, it does not appear.

  1. you cannot export a RAW JPEG - you export the original unmodified as a RAW or you export the current version to JPEG

  2. digital photos have a DPI field but it is meaningless - DPI is the result of a problem of Mathematics (points divided by inches) not a framework and anything that the calculation is always determined the DPI

• How to copy *.jpg in a folder empty

  I have connected my (Moutrie) USB camera to my computer.  I have the camera set to save jpg files and avi.  I have 500 files in the folder, 250 are in jpg.  I want to copy the jpg file to where I have a temporary folder.  BACK training, I don't know what to call things on a Mac, even if I use them for 8 years.

  In the Finder, under 'Locations' I of course desktop and Applications.  I also have the directory structure where I work, called "cglenn."  Under that, I have a temporary folder. The Moutrie is listed in the "Devices" box as moutriecam.

  I have messages in this forum, the closest, I came to reading: cp moutriecam/*.jpg ~cglenn/temp

  I tried without the tilda first.  In any case, so I don't know if the records of departure or destination (or both) are not typed correctly, the results say "no such file or directory,".

  If 'cglenn' is your user name, you must use "~ / temp ' where ' ~ / ' is a shortcut for/Home / or/Users/cglenn. Of course, I guess that the 'temp' folder is in your file.

  All that is good enough for your export venture, but maintain the original file at its original resolution. You never know what you might need in the future quality.

  What version of iPhoto and the operating system you have? What is the source of the photos? They open correctly in the preview? Have you tried to use the import command (menu, file == > import)?

  After selecting and dragging some photos of Photo on the desk I have their attached to an e-mail and sent them to the coast. Then I selected the 5 photos on the desktop and put them in the trash. When I tried to empty the trash later I received the following message: the operation cannot be completed because the item "IMG_0645.jpg" is in use.

  Aren't these photos on the desktop 'copies' of the originals in the Photo?

• jpg and videos do not open some sites since the upgrade to FX 39

  Don't know what hurts, but the first attempt at this has no post. I was connected at the time.

  Links that do not open correctly (jpg files and videos (YouTube, etc) are on certain sites only, others work as before.)

  The jpgs on 'broken' websites appear as a large full gray area, a border around a white box, or a small icon. Right click on one and select open in a new tab, the are displayed correctly. Just as same behavior with links of PNG files.

  The videos show as blank spaces. Make a right click on this space does not offer a new tab (share this page, save the page slot, etc..)

  I'm on a laptop of HP under Windows 7 Pro; My wife on a Dell laptop, also Windows 7 computer doesn't have the problem. I have several modules more than she does.

  I opened an old profile and both related JPGs and YouTube videos open correctly. What happened in (or around the same time that) upgrade affected the current profile.

  Question: opens a new profile of the best way to solve the problem, or is there something else I should try first?

• Video file on Mac turns into .jpg on PC when transferred

  I'm trying to transfer my photos and videos of the desktop computer iMac to a PC via a hard drive external. I've formatted it as I had to. I took a small sample to test. The problem I have is that my video files on Mac turn into a .jpg on the PC file.

  How can you transfer them? To change the extension itself? Never heard say that happen on any computer system, let's assume that I would try to make the copy using double Commander called free file manager on OS X and the PC to be sure we have file transfer control

• Saving images is failing as a JPEG instead of JPG

  When you click to "save the Image under...". ' option, the default "as file Type" value setting used to be empty and would allow us to save the jpg graphics. Now, for some reason, the preset 'File As Type' is set to JPEG.   COR - el suggests using RegEdit.exe. You can type or paste regedit.exe in the Windows Run dialog (or box on Windows 7, the search box of the start menu) and press ENTER to run it. Usually you would get a UAC invites to approve the execution of the program.

  RegEdit lists five different "hives" or sections of upper level in the left pane. If you develop one, high HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT of the page, then you can drill down for

  In this section you must thin image/jpeg and then you can click on that and view the assigned right file extension. I've attached a screenshot of Windows 7 for any reference to screen.

  I am importing jpg files in FCP7 and color moves (loss of cast red/green)

  They look perfect in the Finder, but Import FCP color changing radically (almost as if its been would be CMYK).

  They were taken out of the PS in the form of Adobe RGB files.

  I made files. No difference.

  I tried to juggle the Gamma setting in Prefs. No difference.

  I'm not aware of 'walk' any generic color output in FCP it would cause.

  I can't seem to find all the messages describing this problem or difficulty, advice very so gratefully received! Thanks in advance.

To assume the error, I hit ctrl + enter while the cursor is over the image of the hourglass, and then select or open the link in new tab (or window).   I added 'yarn.com' and 'cdno1.yarn.com' to my list of exceptions for the popup blocker, but has not made a difference or doesn't open Firefox in Mode without failure.

  I recently had to delete and reinstall my laptop OS, so I lost my preferences for Firefox and I am trying to sort and correct any unexpected behavior.   I try to combine two JPGs as two PDF files into one.

  I have a PDF file with more pages and just add a page at the end. It seems to work. And when I save me it also includes the addition of the page.

  However, I'm now trying to merge two files jpg in the same style. This doesn't seem to work. Why?

  With the help of Pages ' 09 v4.3, you can combine two images, select both, group them, copy to the Clipboard and select new in the Clipboard in preview. They are now in PDF in preview, where you can save, export to other formats or copy/paste in Pages in PDF format.

  I reference the older Pages, because in the Pages v5.6.2, your travel Pages from the Clipboard to the product overview a file of Graphics PNG 72 dpi - not PDF and not the two combined images JPG.

  If you don't have a Pages ' 09 v4.3, you should combine your images in a graphics program dedicated (for example GIMP (free), Photoshop, designer of affinity, etc.).

  You cannot combine images in preview, as you can the PDF. The combination of the image seems to work until you save and view this content, to see that it did not work after all.
