Authentication of JRun & amp; IIS

After that I connected JRun and IIS on the same machine and tried to open an html
page I always see a window asking me to provide the user name and
password. But if I only use IIS (no link with JRun) I'm able to open
This page in the web browser without any problem. Does anyone know why I get the
Connection dialog window?

Thank you very much.

It has proved to be a problem of NTFS permissions.
After that I assigned the permissions of files and folders targeting designated users, it works fine now.
Thank you.

    my site offers content Dynamics & must have "caching disabled people" (ie. http Cache-Control headers: No.-cache, Pragma:no - cache, expires immediately, etc..)

    I have a SSL certificate installed on an IIS box. Without invoking the SSL, Flash *.swf files work 100% without HTTPS (for example, with or without SSL) but when you use SSL, the *.swf files completely fail to load/rendering (Note: remaining portions of page loads / makes it very well with the IE browser 'lock' - icon that appears.)

    I have diddled with the common issues cited in various forums, for example. change references of HTTP-> HTTPS in the < embed object > tag, codebase, etc - so did not not this problem.

    HINT... it seems RELATED to caching:(voir ci-dessous)

    UNACCEPTABLE SOLUTION: I am able to get the * .swf-s to load in activating all caches... (ie. remove all related "content - expires" technology) but it becomes a DISASTER for a site providing dynamic content!

    If anyone found a decent solution?

    Oh, boy! I'm in heaven... The workaround is to set the http headers "Content-control: no - store"! Then delete all the other headers cached and keep the setting of "expires immediately!

  • window resizing problems

    My application is built using Flex, Coldfusion and MySQL as backend. I am a newbie to Flex and come from a background of C/C++ development.

    There is a W1 window that has a vertical box which in turn has a Datagrid and one of the columns of the DataGrid the Datagrid has a horizontal box that has a button icon. The MXML is a bit like

    < mx:VBox width = "100%" paddingBottom = "10" paddingLeft = "10" paddingRight = paddingTop = "10" "10" styleName = "formSection" >
    < mx:DataGrid id = "my_grid" dataProvider = headerHeight "{my_grid_dp}" = "0" width = "100%".
    allowMultipleSelection = "true" change = "remove_value.enabled = expected_result_grid.selectedItems.length > 0;" "rowCount ="3">
    < mx:columns >
    < mx:DataGridColumn headerText = "Column 1" dataField = wordWrap "expected_result" = "true" / >

    < mx:DataGridColumn headerText = "Column 2" dataField = "expected_result" width = "45" >
    < mx:itemRenderer >
    < mx:Component >
    < mx:HBox horizontalAlign = "center" >
    "<mx:Button icon="@Embed('.. /Assets/img/Edit.png') ' toolTip = 'View' buttonMode = "true" click = "outerDocument.openmyWin_fn ('update')" / >
    < / mx:HBox >
    < / mx:Component >
    < / mx:itemRenderer >
    < / mx:DataGridColumn >

    < / mx:columns >
    < / mx:DataGrid >

    < / mx:VBox >

    When the icon of the button is clicked (which is indicated in bold above), another new W2 window is opened with the function below

    public void openmyWin_fn(eventObj:*):void
    {
    Prevents the opening of multiple windows
    if(result_win == null) {}
    result_win = PopUpManager.createPopUp (this, result_win, true) like result_win;
    }

    Past the parent object of the pop-up window
    result_win.openingParentWindow = this;

    Set the mode (add / update) in which will operate the form
    result_win.form_mode = eventObj;

    }

    I tried to add a TextInput control in the MXML above in the window W1 source that led to the opening of the W2 window in the right part of the window of the browser without a scroll bar rather than appear with a scroll bar to the center of the browser window. W2 should be appearing as overlap W1, not adjacent to it on the right side.

    I have commented the code TextInput, I added but still window W2 appeared as adjacent without scrollbars. I removed the code I added to the TextInput control, persists the problem (window W2 opening without a scroll bar on the right side of the browser window). W2 window had scrollbars before I tried to add the TextInput MXML control. It has been also centering in the browser window until I tried to add the TextInput MXML control.

    I had this case inadvertently a height value has been added to the entire window W2 and W2 was open in the right part of the window of the browser without a scroll bar. After that I removed the height value of W2, the window appeared in the Center with scroll bars. This time I compare the source until I added the TextInput control and after I removed it and the files are identical.

    Where could I be lost causes the W2 appear in the right-hand side of the browser? I guess the question only is not due to the change (TextInput control) I tried to add because there is no code for that attempted change now.

    I tried to restart my computer and all services (Coldfusion, JRun, MySQL, IIS) and the problem persists. I also compared the window W1 source file and there is nothing that could be the cause of the strange behavior of W2

    Am I missing some subtleties on Flex? How can make an attempt to change that have been cancelled causing these issues?

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    You can run the code that tracks on systemManager.stage.stageWidth/stageHeight

    and see if matches what you have in your MXML.

  • APSB07-02 security patch fails to install correctly

    I followed the instructions (even though they skipped the step WHERE should be the file wsconfig.jar - in the lib directory, btw) to the http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb07-02.html and when I run the command 'java - Dtrace.ci = 1 - jar wsconfig.jar - upgrade - v' from the lib directory I get a DOS prompt that the file is "corrupt or the wrong version of wsconfig.jar.»

    This is the version of several server running jrun4 updater 6.

    Any help would be appreciated... Thank you.

    I found the problem after working with another user on this forum, so I'll post what I sent to Adobe as the answer.

    In this security bulletin: http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb07-02.html , several steps are simply left out of the process. We use the multi-server with Jrun4 Updater 6 version, so I will use that as my example and fill in the missing steps. The steps with >< surrounding="" them="" are="" missing="" from="" the="">

    Backup the existing {jrun_root}\lib\wsconfig.jar to wsconfig.jar.bu.
    Download the hotfix (urgent wsconfig-U6 - 65311.jar - 2.5 MB).
    > Unzip the downloaded file (wsconfig-U6 - 65311.zip), it contains two files called wsconfig-U6 - 65311.jar and another file named jrun-hotfix - 65311.jar
    > And rename wsconfig-U6 - 65311.jar wsconfig.jar
    Stop all ColdFusion MX and JRun servers IIS (WWW Publishing Services) servers. Also, stop the Windows Management Instrumentation service to unlock the IIS connector.
    Note: This step is important for ISPS. With IIS running, the Connector Setup program stops and restarts each site during the upgrade, causing the upgrade to take over time.
    > Move the wsconfig.jar file that you have renamed in the {jrun_root} \lib directory.
    Navigate to the \jrun4\lib directory and run the Connector upgrade:
    CD {jrun_root} \lib
    Java - Dtrace.ci = 1-jar wsconfig.jar - upgrade - v
    Make sure the upgrade completed successfully.
    Inspect {jrun_root}\lib\wsconfig\wsconfig.log for errors
    Check the tab version of {jrun_root} \lib\wsconfig\ (number) \jrun_iis6_wildcard.dll. The "Product Version" field should indicate 4,0,6,108407
    Another way to check the version is a request to wsconfig.jar directly as follows:
    java-jar wsconfig.jar - info
    The command should return "Macromedia JRun 4.0 (Build 108407)".

    > Move the jrun-hotfix - 65311.jar file that you have unpacked above and save in {jrun_root} \servers\lib.

  • Java + Windows authentication with IIS Web service external service

    Hi all

    We have plugin from web client that has a user interface a java dataproviders. These data providers are written for data of a REST api c# hosted in IIS. This API uses windows authentication to authenticate users.

    Here is what they call the api in java code

    last URL url = new URL (path);

    final HttpsURLConnection connection = url.openConnection () (HttpsURLConnection);

    connection.setSSLSocketFactory (ClientCertificateHelper.getSSLSocketFactory ());

    connection.setHostnameVerifier (ClientCertificateHelper.getHostnameVerifier ());

    connection.setRequestMethod ("GET");

    connection.setUseCaches (false);

    connection.setDoOutput (true);

    connection.setInstanceFollowRedirects (true);

    last answer String = getResponse (connection);

    As you can see we do not explicitly set all user for this request. What we have seen in the past, is that when suppliers of calls to the api of c# java database, it passes the domain computer account (domainname\machinename$) as the user. (The WebClient vCenter service works as 'local system').  And that worked very well.

    However, there is a single environment that it is a failure.  We get the following error when calling the external API.

    [00:17:38.719 2013-12-13] [ERROR] data-service-pool-506 System.err java.io.IOException: authentication failure

    [00:17:38.719 2013-12-13] [ERROR] data-service-pool-506 System.err to sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.getInputStream(Unknown_Source)

    [00:17:38.719 2013-12-13] [ERROR] data-service-pool-506 System.err to sun.net.www.protocol.https.HttpsURLConnectionImpl.getInputStream(Unknown_Source)

    According to the newspapers IIS the incoming user name is empty. Under its weight, which means anonymous requests. (Or the failure of the negotiation of authentication. The order of authentication in IIS providers is Negotiate, NTLM).

    Could someone please give some ideas to solve this problem?

    Is it possible to make that call as the user logged on to the web client?

    Any help on this is really appreciated because we're stuck with this error.

    -Thank you

    Unfortunately, you cannot swap the JRE versions like that.  We still use Java 1.6 because of some of our libraries need.  Updating JRE could break things.

    You will need to find another way to perform authentication, as the use of the value of samlTokenXml that I mention.

  • IIS connector with enabled basic authentication fails to process the default Document

    Configuration: Windows 2012 R2, ColdFusion 11.0.05.293506

    Our web site is configured with index.cfm as default document. We have configured a directory to use Basic authentication. If the URL is without extension (/csts_test/) IIS authenticates the user but the mistakes of cfmHandler IsapiMidule out. If the URL contains an extension (/ csts_test/index.cfm) or if the default document is a static page (HTML, etc.) IIS authenticates the user and the page is returned to the browser successfully. This seems to be similar to the post on the forum default document is not being processed when not included in the URL , but no resolution is documented. Here are the data of the isapi_redirect.log (verbose / debug) failure.

    Does anyone know of a way to make the IIS connector honours a CFM document file by default if basic authentication is enabled? Is this a bug in the connector?

  • IIS crashes with failing JRun connector?

    On our environment:

    Win Server 2008 r2 64-bit, 8GB of Ram

    Our web server has experienced a series of humps undetectable for events that should have zero negative impact.  A hiccup of such has been the 9.0 9.0.1 on 29 March 2012 update that erupted in the administration see Web page  I'm not the administrator of the web server if my ability to test for a fix was limited.  The search for a solution online has been in vain.  The error given was:

    DiagnosisElement ESAPIUTILS is undefined in a Java type object class [Ljava.lang.String;. < br > the error occurred on line 55]

    Finally, we asked a technical support incident unique request Adobe.  The first day, that support engineer has visited our site it was little more than a simple simple insistence.  The technician pointed out to generate a VM to imitate our configuration, which I still question how this should be carried out.  The creation of the VM was never satisfied and did nothing but delay of repairs due to planning confilicts with Adobe, the availability of our admins and the weekend.  Finally the technician was able to work with us again and the CF web admin has been fixed.  However, until the fix has been put in place the technician asked twice, once on each call, if we applied patches.  The answer don't twice asked them two separate days.  The technician is appeared to believe that we applied a fix due to some the existence of a file somewhere in a directory that appears to me, without being told, was the witness for his conviction that a patch has been applied, which he was not.

    The technician suspected the source of the problem could be:

    • A hotfix is applied previously, not the case.
    • Permissions
    • Or corrupted files

    Ultimately apply a hotfix seems to be what finally fixed our problem.

    This was the process approached during the correction of technicians:

    \ColdFusion9\runtime\servers\coldfusion\SERVER-INF\jrun. XML

    some is set to true to allow the local web server works.

    http://helpx.adobe.com/coldfusion/kb/coldfusion-administrator-fails-permission-denied.html

    Shortly after the fix on a weekend, I was informed that our site was down.  It appeared Coldfusion still worked and IIS had something wrong, because I was getting error 503.  I tried exchanging on an index.html unaffected website, which gives the desired output.  I learned later that newspapers has also indicate that CF had not been restarted or failed.  It turned out that he had stopped the default IIS application pool.  Starting from that once again the IIS admin console alieivated the immediate problem.  However, we continued to get error 503 now and then indicating that an application pool is stopped.

    DebugDiag was brought into play to collect dumps of IIS to attempt to resolve the problems.  When we had collected about 5 flushes each analysis had cited jrun_iis6_wildcard.dll in results I figured that something to do with the recent correction was the cause.  However, when I contacted the technician Adobe April 18 they claimed that the fix in place would have no impact on the jrun_iis6_wildcard.dll.  When I grew up I got crash dumps of IIS with the indication that the jrun connector dll was at fault, he said I should contact Microsoft to analyze the crash dump to check that.  I'm trying to start a support with Microsoft for this request, but I thought it would be useful to publish if someone else has experienced.

    I also noticed since the patch I see now and then error 503 in the http.log file.  I also noticed that our site is much more sensative to visiting robots which I intend to address soon slowed use of resources.

    WinDebug analysis; lines of the tail of a crashdump IIS.

    So my question is there any hint that the JRun connector is faulty, it is simply caused by excessive traffic exceeding certain limits of the CF Connector or should I focus on the IIS application pool process?

    An update on the status of this problem.  It looks like the jrun_iis6_wildcard.dll version changed when I ran the utility WSConfig.exe.  I couldn't find an official document on how to re - install the jrun connector.  I have found documentation on how to install it in the first place.  I realize that IIS 6 metabase compatibility is not required to be disabled for FC 9.0.1, but I don't see no reason to not remove it so it has been removed in the process of re - install Jrun connector.  I decided to follow this process of driving uninstall works because it contained the two missing as well as the installation steps.  http://www.codecurry.com/2010/07/installing-ColdFusion-901-update.html

    The differences that result in the comparison of jrun_iis6_wildcard.dll before installing the jrun connector and after can be seen here:

    I really hope that this will stop the intermittent outages and unwanted application IIS with Betclic stops that have frequently taken place.  If I encounter more problems I'll report in a week with a claim that the problem is resolved, otherwise I'll report with related disorders.

  • Authentication on the Windows NT w/IIS Server 5

    I changed the authentication files on my production server (CF 4.5 running) to add in some new session variables. I did it using Dreamweaver 8, using my personal account which automatically opens a session on the server (with admin rights). By doing this, I did probably writable files (I don't remember if they were read-only to start). However, people starting calling and saying that they could not connect to this server more, so I copied the files modified with copies of the original of the duplicate server, people still couldn't connect. I copied the files with the original from the backup server files, still couldn't connect. I've changed the files read-only via the de facto administrator account, not my only personal. Still no go. Then, we copied the files from the backup tapes, which are apparently supopsed to save permission settings. Still the same problem.
    We can always to the homepage, so IIS works, so we can still file lucky unauthenticated CF, CF works. When you try to log in from the home page, once you enter your username and password and click "login", it pops up a window of MS authentication and request your username and password for the server. So pretty much, understand us that something is wrong with the settings for this server. We checked to make sure that all html and cfm files can be read by anonymous users and settings appear to be the same as those on the server of duplication (where people can still connect to).

    Anyone had this happen before? Anyone know what the parameters might be screwed up? Do you think it made a difference that the files have been edited w / my account and no administrator?

    Our last option is completely redo the backup server. Does anyone have suggestions better? Any help would be appreciated. Please help if you can! Thank you!

    Thank you.

    What ended by happens is that all access has been removed from the advanced access settings.

    I have no idea why it happened only with those specific files. I've been editing files a lot, a lot that way, I guess that the server had very precise settings for these files.

  • Anonymous IIS and impersonation

    Simple configuration. Create a virtual machine with IIS and SQL Server, and Web (ASP.NET) application. All on the same machine without hops involved.

    IIS is set to anonymous authentication only (not asp.net impersonation).

    The site is configured with an application pool using a Local Windows of Custom account (\SQLDataAccess).

    SQL Server configured for the authentication of the window only.

    Permit SQLDataAccess to SQL Server. Confirmed by connecting to the machine as \SQLDataAccess and access to SQL server through SSMS.

    Now, the incoming request to IIS will be NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON (is that correct, can anyone confirm?)

    I think this to be "borrowed" from \SQLDataAccess by the pool IIS application, and indeed in c# WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent (). Name returns \SQLDataAccess.

    But SQL Server reports "failed to connect to the user 'NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON'. Reason: could not find a name of the connection corresponding to the provided name. »

    Is it because the Application Pool can only "flow the identity of the original caller back resources on the same computer?

    I also tried to set IIS configuration authenticatedUserOverride to UseWorkerProcessUser, but the results were the same.

    Is it so impossible to have an anonymous site IIS uses Windows authentication behind IIS?

    Thank you for the ideas.

  • Web site using IIS prompts you for credentials

    I use a webserver using IIS. Occasionally someone will put in their letters of claim and like 5 minutes it will be relative to that request identification information. But they do not need to put the credentials again they can just click out of it and the site will keep connected. We also use windows authentication. Any help would be greatly apreciated.

    This issue is beyond the scope of this site (for consumers) and to be sure, you get the best (and fastest) reply, we have to ask either on Technet (for IT Pro) or MSDN (for developers)

    IIS on Windows Server 2012 R2 8.5 sends error 401.2 when change password Administrator windows local, 500 errors

    This particular configuration is with Coldfusion 11. There is no errors in newspapers and the w3 service still works as are application pools. All websites and app pools run with transmission of authentication request.

    ColdFusion does not work with windows authentication and may be enforced as if reconfigured integrated instance to do this, if this isn't a matter of colfusion.

    Here is what I tried:

    1 I created a new user account with admin rights and disconnected and logged in as them and then make changes to the password on the server, and that didn't make a difference.
    2. I checked that all Web sites using the request pass through authentication.
    3. I checked that the application pool is also using the application-pass-through authentication.
    4. I looked to find errors in which case newspapers but don't see anything there either
    5. I also searched a failure in coldfusion logs and saw no more relevant here either, but I got colfusion running without IIS in any case.
    6. search of the roots of web for coded passwords hard and found nothing.

    If you have any ideas or any ideas let me know.
