Auto Disconnect?

Skype is supposed to disconnect on the browser after a period of time?

I never connect to Skype on my browser (and browser, I guess you mean Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome, etc.), but I'm pretty Yes, it connect you after a period of time. This is probably to protect your account and what-not. It should not happen on your actual Skype app, however.

Sorry, I couldn't give a more definitive answer, but I hope I always helped somehow. :/

  • HP Pavilion n011tu Wi - fi auto disconnect

I tried several times to the HP Web site but can not decide...

    Help, please.!

    Hello

    Other things to try then.

Go to Device Manager, then click on the '+' next to network adapters. Right-click on the adapter wireless and uninstall it (make sure that the box is check delete the driver). Restart the computer. This will reinstall the driver automatically. Test several times to drops after that.

If the problem persists, try with Ethernet (wired) to the router to see if the problem occurs here as well, or if it has been limited to a wireless connection.

If he doesn't produce wireless, try to connect to another wireless network (a friends or public like McDonald's). So no problem, then the problem is on the home network. You must contact the manufacture of router or your ISP. If the problem occurs on a different network. Go to the next suggestion.

Then, as your current running Windows 8 would be a cooling system.

Try the above in the intended order and let me know the results.

  • Auto Disconnect when the computer shut down wanted!

I'm working on two computers, home and office. Physically, they are 4 miles away. If I forget to disconnect when I leave my office (the computer be here correctly closed), in order to continue my work at home, I have to get back to the office to do this. Why in God's name did not do something on this issue? An option in the preferences which disconnects automatically CC when the computer is off?

You are allowed to two facilities of the site.

If you shut down a computer, whenever you start a machine, you will need to log-in to ACC again.

A machine has nothing to do with the other machine being left or turned off.

    Hi Elsie,

Goto: Tab properties of the Application-> Security .
Then in the section Session Timeout .
Here, you can set the required details for the Session Timeout.
    (1) maximum idle Session time in seconds
    (2) on the idle time of session timeout directly to this URL

  • my pc disconnects when trying to save in the folder that is located on the same network share as "offline files".

I have 11 Windows 7 and they were all 'My Documents' redirected to a folder on a network (H:\) drive, in other words it has been made available offline. On this network drive, there are various files, some are personal folders and some are for public use (DATA, COMMONS, etc...)

Now, sometimes when I try to save a document in the network drive, but not in my personal file, lets say H:\common, the laptop disconnects and shows me all the folders in this shaded in grey, network drive (as when I'm offline) and by the single folder is the personal folder which is always available. When the application attempts to save to disk network is displayed with an error message saying that he was unable to record on the disc, the laptop comes online again. This process can take anything from 10 seconds to 5 minutes and in a few rare occasions blocked the entire computer and I had to restart the machine.

I'm having this problem on all computers, but not all the time, it can produce a few 3 - 4 times per hour, sometimes I can secure documents without any problems, and sometimes, it has not allowed me.

Besides some of the laptops are connected to a windows 2000 server server and others to a Windows 2003 server, and as I said, all have this problem.

I tested and replaced, hardware, tried the service packs, disabled antivirus programs, disabled the Auto Disconnect on servers... STIL not luck

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

  • Internet disconnects randomly

OK to give a little history, I've been playing around with the system setting I wasn't suppost to (mac address settings) and my problem started shortly after I did. any ideas? It will connect for a good hour, auto disconnect reconnect and has no internet access to about 15 minutes then has access to the internet

    Hi taylor1210,

Welcome to the Microsoft community. According to the description of the problem your connection Internet disconnects randomly. Provide the following information:

    ·         You get the error message?

    ·         You use a third-party security software?

I'll help you with this problem. I suggest you follow these methods.

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software .

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    Method 2:

I suggest you to reset the TCP\IP stack and see that if this is useful, the following steps will help you reset the TCP\IP stack.
    1. to open a command prompt, click Start , and then click run. Copy and paste (or type) that follows the command in the Open box, and then press ENTER:
    cmd
    2. at the command prompt, copy and paste (or type) the following command and then press ENTER:
    netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
Note If you do not specify a path of the directory for the log file, use the following command:
    netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
    3. restart the computer.

  • DSC functions and security: autodisconnect

    Hello

I use the security features of LabVIEW 8.5.1 and DSC module.

Does anyone know how to enable the Auto Disconnect feature (disconnection after some time without user interaction)?

    Thanks in advance.

    Tom

    Hello Ben,

Meanwhile, an Engineer Support NOR provided an answer to this question:

    ....

If you use a LabVIEW 7.1 DSC, there should be an option in the menu where you can set the minutes of inactivity
    until automatic disconnection.
In LabVIEW 8.x, you will need to implement this on your own. There is a VI that will make the disconnection itself, but the
Schedule must be implemented by yourself.

    ....

Yes, you're right: this feature is simply not available more in LabVIEW 8.x!

There is a document in the knowledge base targeting this problem:

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/0A8C5B624365A25E8625721100548970?OpenDocument

but the example Figure VI does not make too much sense.

The problem is that the DSC_Lougout.vi does not include the 'idle' in ' Minutes rest until disconnection. It simply connects to the user after a specific time without taking into account if the user is still active.

    Kind regards

    Thomas

  • Self-closing session after a certain period of time...?

    Hello

It is management overhead for the helpdesk guys visit the disconnecting Desktop Group and forcibility all unplugged session of the Group of students.

Is there a way I can auto disconnect all disconnected sessions who spent 15/30 minutes?

If not, I'm sure this can be using vWorkspace PowerShell, if the answer to this question No. and Yes for the PowerShell, can you please tell me to download PowerShell link?

    Kind regards

    Hello

    Respond to this request;

Apply a setting to force the disconnection of the services Terminal Server sessions disconnected after a period of downtime of group policy.

-Open the Group Policy Editor and select an appropriate GPO, or create a new if necessary.

-Navigate to computer configuration | Policies | Administrative templates | Windows components | Remote Desktop services | Remote Desktop Session host | Session time limits

-Locate the "Time limit for disconnected sessions" setting enable this policy setting

-In the drop-down list, select the time limit for disconnected sessions

If you enable this policy setting, disconnected sessions are deleted from the server after the specified time interval. To apply the default behavior for disconnected sessions are maintained for an unlimited time, select never. If you have a console session, the disconnected session time limits do not apply.

  • How to activate an autolog wide for my user accounts after a preset time of inactivity has been reached? Windows 7 64 bit

Hello all and thanks in advance.  I have a win7 64 bit with multiple user accounts. (children)  I would like to activate some sort of device of Automatic logoff when someone leaves the machine and it was inactive for a set period.

Edit: Thanks for the replies parental control however does not funtion that I'm looking.  I need an Auto Disconnect feature true regardless of user account.  When the computer is left idle with someone connected, that I would like the Pc auto disconnects this person after having reached a predetermined duration.

This is done very simply. Simply go to your settings box screensaver (in "personalization" in the control panel), select a screen saver if you have not already, choose how long you want to wait and next to that is a check box beside the words, "on resume, display logon." Check it out. Once the screen saver comes up then when move you your mouse or whatever you (or your children) must enter the password to log on. If they don't know the password they have to ask you to leave.

  • MCU Conference Ad Hoc autodisconnect

    Hi all

Is it possible to disconnect all participants of remaning an ad-hoc conference created by multiway after anyone, that create, to leave the Conference?

Scenario is a person create a conference multiway between 3 conference rooms and after awhile leaving the Conference.

I need auto disconnect other 2 participants.

    Is this possible?

    MCU used: 5310 - version 4.4 (3.67)

    Best regards

    Mesut

    Mesut,

The only way you could do it is by combining the creator of the Conference that the President and the other participants as guests. It is not possible to distinguish between the Chair and invited in multiway.

If you add the conductor, it would be possible in the next version with the use of pins different for president and invited.

  • Something trying to close my MacBook during periods of inactivity. Is - this VMWare linked?

HI - sorry for the thread title wave and the "pix on the side", but I'm having a problem with my VMWare Virtual Windows Machine on my MacBook Pro with Os X (10.10.2):

I use my Virtual Machine to run a Windows "Poker Clock. Essentially this countsdown asks the minutes as the poker tournament runs. The tournament can last over 6 hours ago there is no user activity. All screensavers are disabled.

During execution of my Virtual Machine from Windows (using VMWare Fusion 7) 8.1 and the aforementioned Poker clock, I get the following message appears on the first 30 minutes. Apparetnly something trying to stop my MacBook while the software is running. I can't find which program is loaded and I was wondering is there something inherent in VMWare who wants to shut down my computer after a long period of inactivity:

    photo 5.JPG

I first thought that it had to do with settings of power/energy on the side Mac, or perhaps on the side of Windows, but as you can see on these pictures below, I think that I have disabled all the parameters that would be would like to shut down my computer while "no operator" and yet the previous pop up keeps appearing. It becomes a real hassel and I can't seem to find out how to stop it from appearing.  Moreover, there is no other applications running or updates pending that would re - start my MacBook.

    photo 4.JPG

    photo 3.JPGphoto 2.JPG

I hope someone can help me with this!

    Thank you.

It seems that your Mac is set to save accounts after 30 minutes of inactivity. Who would try to stop the VMware Fusion as part of disconnection and generates messages that you see.

You can check this by opening the security & privacy preference pane in system preferences. On the general tab, log in as administrator by clicking on the padlock at the bottom of the Panel, and then click Advanced at the bottom of the Panel.

See if the checkbox next to "Log out after xxx minutes of inactivity" is checked. If this is the case, you can uncheck to stop the automatic disconnection. Or you can change it to a longer value (but if you don't have a good idea of how long the game disable the auto disconnect may be the best choice).

  • Auto assigned IP & cable disconnected?

I have a strong signal to internet and my iPad and iPhone are on WiFi fine. However, my older iMac gets these error messages (auto assigned IP and cable disconnected). I can't even know that if I get "bars" he says still no internet on WiFi. What is with all the conversations of Ethernet that plug that sinus 15 years ago? I don't even have an external router from the airport. I was able to get to this place 6 months... But not now. My work depends on my putting on the computer. Advice or assistance before he went to the shop?

I did all the things I know: reset the Comcast router, reset IP, run the wizard, run diagnostics, check the WiFi connections? Removed from the network and set it up again.

It seems that your iMac is configured to use Ethernet no WiFi.

What are the parameters you use in system-> network preferences.
