• VM automatically migrated back to ESXi host

  I recently installed and configured a Cluster DRS on vSphere 5 on the customer site.

  In the cluster, we added 5 ESXi host. Four HP DL580 G7 with Xeon X 7560 processor and a HP DL580 G5 X 7460 Xeon processor.

  Apparently the X74xx and the X75xx processors are not compatible for vMotion and DRS is impossible between ESXi hosts.

  I tried to vMotion VM of a loaded ESXi, DL580 G7 host, for DL580 G5 the only customer, but the wizard gave me
  a compatibility error saying that;

  "CPU host is compatible with the requirements of the virtual machine to CPUID level 0 x 1 'ecx' register."

  I tired to use EVC on cluster ma to make compatible CPU but no luck! could not execute predefined EVC profiles!

  I just turned off the virtual machine, so I'd be cold - migrate to the ESXi host.

  Could do when it was off, but when I turned it on it automatically ran on the previous ESXi Host which is held before the migration.

  For me, it was strange! because firstly he moved successfully to the new host of ESXi, but came back on the other after power.

  I have two questions about the scenario above;

  1. why the VM turned their backs on the other host ESXi?

  2. How can I solve the problem of cpu compatibility?

  ' VCA Can' active br because the cluster contains hosts that lack VCA-compatible equipment.

  Please check the BIOS of the host settings and do 'VT - x' and the 'no. Execute Disable"are both set to"enabled ".

• oratab database restart flag automatically changed back to N

  Dear Experts,

  I tried to change the flag of auto_database oratab to Y in node RAC 1, but it has automatically get back to N.

  Can you please help me find out the reason for it. And how to activate this node RAC 1.

• Finder - right scrolling automatically snaps back to the left

  Hello

  I use Yosemite on a Mac Book pro. Recently, I noticed a problem with my finder. I have 'column view' enabled. When I scroll to the right to see the items more far in my tree, rather than stay where I scroll finder window cling all the way back to the left, showing the folders at the root of the drive. So, I actually don't see not all folders deeper in my directory structure.  I can't understand why this is happening. I hope someone can help out me!

  UPDATE: I discovered another problem which could be related. If I go to any program - safari, word, etc. and scroll all the way to the right, if I move the mouse over the program it will automatically scroll to the left. If I point the program, scrolling stops.

  SOLVED!

  It turns out that I needed to do something stupid - was enough to unplug and plug in my wireless mouse. Haha I've tried everything, * but * that. Go figure.

  I'm really tierd of pepole telling me I have to unpluge the charger after the battery full coz to come if I still taken in the charger, the battery will be lost after all the time.

  I need the Expert pepole here to tell me is the Toshiba Satellite A200 is automatically stop charrging battery after it come complete or should I unplug the charger to save the dough?

  I m not an expert but I have 2 laptops.
  In two books, the battery while AC is plugged.
  I think the latest battery technology allows to use the battery and the power adapter at the same time and it affects doesn t the battery strong performance.

  But my 9 years into the first computer battery laptop doesn't work anymore. He died after about 2 years of use. Now, it lasts for about 1 min, then it s empty.
  But the battery is old and it is nothing unusual.

  Your battery is going to die also sooner or later, but in my s TI doesn't matter if the battery is inserted and that the AC adapter is plugged in or not.

• HP Pro 8500 a more automatic charger will not be permanent power supply?

  My HP Pro 8500 has more don't feed from the top of the charger page sometimes, I put the paper in the feeder and hear that the document is loaded and the fax to dial and connect to the other computer and I hear the rotating charger but my document won't back down and I charge the charger and try new and same thing.

  If I open the top cover I see some gear and I believe that the problem can be in there.

  I went to see a new HP printer and I realize now that HP has changed the system of gears by the presence of a button in the middle to the left of the window, maybe the system that I was a problem in the past, I'm disappointed.

  I understand the problem, and it's the black gear from the top of the document feeder cover which is too far from the white gear under the lid.

  I took the cover and then went out the 4 torx screws and put in a hold under the screw by the black gear and back up the Assembly and now it works fine. In order to understand this out, I had to cheat the sensor to open the lid by putting a piece of thin cardboard in the back of the slot to the left of the printer (must be a light sensor) and then working notice which prepares and then realize that the white gears were doing their job then I thought that the black gear is not engaging and putting in this hold he pushed the black gear closer to the white gear and that's it, as if by magic, it works!

  This fix may not be for everyone but it works for me.

• How to back up ESXi 5.0 patch

  Recently I upgraded to 5.0 ESXi once I applied the patches the my build number was about 6 *. And today I have applied new patches so my build number became a few 7 *. After host rebooted. But I don't want this build number I wan to roll back to the number of Build 6 *. How to back up and how can I do for that please suggest me.

  On the initial startup screen, you can press SHIFT + R to enter the recovery mode.  You will then get a screen display which version are available and you can choose which one to use.

  My system is 102 ReadyNAS with firmware 6.4.2.

  I would use the backup--> feature of Dropbox, but when I click on the switch to change from Off to on, it stays on for maybe a second, and then rebascule off automatically. Also the button never Authroize becomes available.

  If someone has encountered this problem previously have any recommendation on how to solve this problem? I have restarted the unit several times and still no luck.

  Make sure the NAS server has a good internet connection. Check the default gateway and the DNS server, add 8.8.8.8 (google DNS) DNS server for the test settings

• When I updated printer spooler 'automatic', after a reboot or two it automatically switches back to "manual". How to make 'automatic' permanently?

  I was the only one who got to manual in the first place, I did not know.
  I tried the fix from microsoft, this program (which set to automatic, but after a restart printer spooler is indented in the manual) I tried the system restore and reinstall the drivers. Don't know what I can do
  The printer is a HP officejet 5610
  Any help would be really appreciated, it does not even need to be a solution, just a way to get around it.

• Problem with automatic charger when printing with photo paper

  Printing is fine EXCEPT when I try to print photos on paper HP Advanced.  I set it up to print several photos of different size on 8 1/2 x 11 via a software program.  I've never had a problem in the past.  Paper just sits there and do not feed, and finally pushes through with nothing printed.  Or if I push forward to get through, it is not aligned correctly as don't feed properly in order not to print the part of photos.  If all goes well, I'm explaining this to as you can understand the problem.

  Basically, there is a problem automatically feeding paper photo, even if I use high-quality paper.

  Can someone help, please?

  You change the paper type in the print settings to reflect the paper chosen for the print job? Pages 22 - 23 has this process listed in the user manual if one any showing this post wants to look.

  I reset the printer, clean the rollers, check the print settings. This document here describes the steps to follow. I know that you do not get a hard copy of the error message, but the steps are the same for your problem to feed paper. I hope this helps.

  SE você estiver is referindo ao Vmware Converter, ele possui uma option sim ' resize ' disco, allowing one reducao seu size.

  Before leaving the PS, I always have to close/save one or images that I am working on however when I reopen it later PS, the last image I worked automatically reopen in PS.

  Also, do not know if related, but when I left the PS, it often says "Photoshop close unexpectedly.  What happens if I finish by right clicking on the icon of the PS on the dock and

  by selecting left or if I select Photoshop in the main menu and choose 'quit photoshop' in the drop down menu.

  How long have you used Mac? If you are a new user, you could do something very common for novice Mac users: closing windows, assuming that you're quitting applications.

  If you click on the red light on the upper left corner of windows, you quit smoking not apps, but simply to close an open document window. The software will remain running and once you restart your Mac, they will appear with welcome screens, blank documents, etc..

  Before trying to change the settings of the OS, try to stop correctly retained by software by hiting Cmnd + Q for each of them.
