Automatic download of XP Service Pack Uninstall

Ideas:

It seems windows software distribution downloads SPUNINST hidden files and folders (groups of 500 MB), log (for example. KB2347290) has a lot of mistakes in there.  PC has XP Professional version 2002 (32-bit) Service Pack 3.  Uninstall downloaded these files take up a lot of space, there are approximately 255 files and one file has 2 938 files it contains.  Is this ok to delete these?, (if I can, they are hidden).  Someone had this problem?  Thank you!
