Automatic reconnection Plantronics 855 Bluetooth Pre

I'm having some trouble ensuring that the Plantronics 855 receives a signal from the Pre. Similar to the questions in my Acura TL hands free system. I find myself having to disable bluetooth on the Meadow, and then reactivating to operate. Also, sometimes I will need to turn off the 855 and then turn it back on as well. Have only had it for 2 weeks, so I did not yet understand the trend, but the marriage of pre and BT does seem to not yet be happy.

Anyone else have similar problems and / or answers to why this could happen?

Update: my pre was replaced because of the Oreo effect.  This solved all my problems BT with the 855 Plantronics, as with my Acura TL hands free system (except the end key on my wheel by placing the call on hold rather than hang up)!  Must have been a HW question with the original pre or associated firmware version.

.. .unexpected advantage.

  • AnyConnect + timeout during automatic reconnection

    Hello

I have configured AnyConnect with network Trust detection and automatic reconnection.

I have a problem with this use case:

    1. Users connect to AnyConnect with certificate
    2. When the 3G network is no longer available, AnyConnect tries to auto-reconnect
    3. After 30 minutes without network connectivity, users have this alert "your connection to the secure gateway has been suspended longer than the time limit. A new connection is necessary, which requires re-authentication.
    4. If the 3G network is available, TND detects that the network is not approved and connects automatically.

The message in step 3 is unnecessary and users think they must connect manually. How can I remove this alert?

I tried to put the "idle time-out" unlimited in group policy, but it doesn't change anything.

    Thanks for your support,

Idle time-out is the correct setting. Two things could've gone wrong. You don't want not unlimited because without a maximum connection time, which means ghosts sessions would not be cleaned up. I propose a framework of 12-24 hours.  If it still does not respond, you applied probably this to the wrong group.

  • To automatically reconnect Bluetooth

Hi, I have a vi that connects to a Bluetooth transceiver and collects and plots / stores incoming data. The connection is initiated by the user on the front panel.  However, sometimes LabVIEW gives me a connection error, sometimes it's once an hour, sometimes it's once every 24 hours, and I have to manually start the connection.  I was wondering if there is a way to design a vi that is always looking for a connection, so if the connection is lost it reconnects automatically.  I see that there is no sample Bluetooth screws that come with LabVIEW (2010), would one of these work?

    Hi baseball07,

The example of "Advanced Blueooth Server.vi" (go to help > examples > Search bluetooth and it should appear in the list) should be a good place to start. It shows how to connect to several headphones at the same time, using the listener to create function.

Thus, it shows how to use the Bluetooth to waiting on the listener function. In this example, VI, if you catch an error Connection Timed Out or connection closed, you stop the loop and close. You can change this so that if you receive this error message create you a flag to show that a shift has occurred, but rather to stop, continue the loop outside while Cook waiting for Bluetooth on the State of the listener. As long the device he always tries to connect, you should be able to reconnect automatically on the bluetooth device.

    I hope this helps!

  • Phone is not able to reconnect to the bluetooth device after accidentally forgetting the device.

There are some time I accidentally "forgot" a Bluetooth of my friends when they were connected to my phone.

Since I have never been able to get them reconnected.

I checked that my bluetooth works. (I am able to connect to my friends phone, and my headphones are also able to connect to my friends phone)

I read online messages from others with various other phones that have had the same problems and tried various solutions without success.

    Thank you

If you reset the headset, and then pair them again?

  • How can I get my laptop automatically connects to a bluetooth at startup device

I have a music receiver Belkin Bluetooth that I connect to with my laptop (so I can read computer music files on my stereo). My problem is that I have to go through a time consuming series of steps each time my computer restart. I would like to find a way to automate this process (for example a batch file that runs at startup).

Currently, what I have to do is:
1 double-click on the Bluetooth icon in the system tray.
    2. double-click on the icon for this device (in this case, it is called 'Belkin VI').
    3. wait (this is the part that I find really annoying).
    4. when it appears, click the button to connect.
I don't know how to set up my Bluetooth to run at startup, but makes me only to the first window. Ideally I'd like a cmdlet / I can run with parameters that indicate the device from Belkin.
    Am I asking too much?

  • HP Officejet Pro 8600 wireless to automatically reconnect after router turned back?

I have the printer connected wireless have pick up the IP of the router configuration.

Whenever the router is turned off and turned on, the printer loses the configuration of the wireless network and I must choose the wireless network and re-enter the password.

It seems to be all right with the wired Ethernet network which I use at the moment.

What could I have done wrong to the wireless configuration?

I guess that the printer cannot get the IP address of the DHCP server on the router after reset of the power.  So I try give it a static IP address.  I don't seem to be able to set a static IP address for configuring wireless on the printer either.

More important still, why he forgets the address assigned in the first place?  I wouild wait there a memory possible to memorize some basic such as the network settings.

    Hello

If the printer near the router, be sure to continue, it closes, but not less than 2 meters... which should greatly improve stability wireless.

Once the router restarts the printer not restores to it once it is inactive.

you have to turn the printer off and then on once the router is completely upward once again, it should reconnect to your network.

Please let me know if any of the steps above allows.

  • Automatic reconnection VPN Client

We have a PIX 515E and we have just implemented a few remote users. Everything has been working well, except that users have unreliable connections that often fall. When their ISP connection drops, they connect in the VPN client again. Is it possible to configure the clients to automatically connect to the VPN when a connection is present, similar in the manner of that site to site VPN works transparently for the user?

We currently use the client 4.6 and are open to try other methods of remote users connect to the PIX (PPTP, etc.)

The VPn client has an auto-initie function, in that when he sees the traffic to a specific destination, it will bring up the tunnel. If you allow users to save their passwords, then the whole process can be transparent.

    See http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/vpn/client/4_6/admin/vcach4.htm for more details.

This type of functionality is something that TMS verifies, within TMS under administrative tools > Configuration > settings Conference > Conference connection.  Your TMS can be configured to reconnect if a call fails x number of times.

  • XPS 13 9350 wifi to automatically reconnect to the known network

I wanted to see if the owners of Dell XPS 13 9350 encounter a problem connecting to woman that I have.

My home wifi Netgear router is set up and I have connected with the password and select "connect automatically".  However, my Dell won't connect when I reboot.

Laptop Lenovo to my wife and another bridged router remains connected and there is no problem.

I tried to disable the computer put power off 'allow' pay-per-view network in device, network, power management card Manager, but the behavior has not changed.

Wanted to see if anyone else has seen cela or not.

I've rolled back to an earlier version of the Wifi network adapter and have no problem.  I saw several people in researching this issue who has problems with the latest Broadcom driver that is located on the Dell Web site for the 9350 XPS13 perhaps this is corrected in later versions.

  • How to reconnect to an already paired Bluetooth A2DP?

I use a headset stereo bluetooth with my laptop running Windows7/Fedora 12 and also my cell phone and my ipod. I want to connect my headset to one of above the device at a time.

I have associated my helmet with all above devices (Windows 7, Fedora 12, my laptop and my ipod). Suppose I have connected my headphones to the ipod and now I want to use it with my cell phone. All I have to do is disconnect the headphones from the ipod and connect it to my cell phone. ("Connect" and "disconnect" facilities are there in my ipod and mobile).

Suppose now I want to use the headset with Windows 7. (he has already paired and appear under Bluetooth devices). Surprisingly in windows 7 it is impossible to connect to already paired headphones. (when you do a right click on the icon under devices bluetooth headset is no 'connect' option.). Now one may wonder why you don't restart the headset? But it'll never work since headset tries to connect to the last device that it connected. (in this case, my cell phone). Only way I can connect my headset to Windows 7 now is to put the headset mode, removing the helmet of windows, matching and re pair. It will take a time lotof and this will also install drivers for four profiles bluetooth headset works. (A2DP, AVRCP, handsfree, headset). (This will also create a system restore point to make things slower).

Similar to my cell phone and the ipod under linux Fedora it's just a matter of the right click bluetooth icon and selecting "connect". I haven't used windows for a long time and maybe I'm missing something very obvious, or how Windows 7 bluetooth works is very frustrating.

I use Windows 7 Professional in a Dell Inspiron laptop. The bluetooth stack that is used is one that comes with Wndows 7.

    Hi Jeff,

Reconnection using playback devices works to reconnect an A2DP Bluetooth Headset already paired to your PC, by helmets opus is generally "Mute" in the respect that you cannot ask them to connect to a specific device, they just try to reconnect to the last device to which they connected. With the help of "Playback devices" circumvents this by getting your computer command ping on the device and it ask for a connection.

Looks like you have a totally different problem to the OP, namely that you can't get your android phone to connect to your PC after you have paired. It is probably useful to start a new thread on this issue because it is completely separate to reconnect devices 'silly '.

  • iPhone Bluetooth Headset open iBooks?

So I use my Plantronics Voyager Bluetooth headset for listening to audio books of every night.  My books are in the iBooks app is where I play.

I'm now noticed something really annoying that I can't fix.

Now, whenever I connect my Bluetooth headset, it opens the iBooks and starts to read an audio book.  It does this without any prompting from me.  The iBooks app is not really open in this case, it shows just at the bottom of the screen as a bar in the narrow application screen.  It shows also in the Control Center screen.

There are no settings for my bluetooth headset.  I looked at the settings for the iBooks, and there is nothing about it.  I went through all other screens of settings that I can find and I can't find anything on how to stop this.

It may not seem like much, but it's really annoying, and when I'm driving and I turn on my headset to answer a call, iBooks automatically begins to play on top of the current phone call.

I searched and could not find anyone else with this problem, so I don't know if this is specific to my bluetooth earpiece/headset or what, but there must be a way to stop this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

In fact, I have this problem too, and everything has happened today on my iPhone. However, I do not have a Bluetooth headset; just Sony headphones with a 3.5 mm jack. Whenever I plug my headphones in, the suggested application that could be opened appears iBooks and not music. At first I though it will be fixed by just open music, playing a song and then to pause the selected song. Later, I'll disconnect the Atria, then quickly reconnect. Then, the app suggested turns to music (as I wanted). But the proposed application back to iBooks when headphones are not connected for a long time.
