Automatic updates ignores not installed updates.

I installed the Windows XP security update $KB2839229$ 6 times (and the computer restarts) and even the automatic updates still shows that I him have not yet installed.  Other updates that have been installed at the same time have been ignored and should not be installed.  What do you think is the problem with it?
