CSV, C header or XML file?  I am trying to take the data structure defined in one or more of these files listed and have LabView automatically create a cluster with structure types and the same data.  (Ideally, I would like to do it with a C header file only.)  Basically, I'm trying to avoid having to create the cluster by hand, as the number of cluster elements could be very large. I looked in EasyXML and contacted the rep for the add-on.  Unfortunately, this feature was not created yet.  Did anyone done something like this before? Thanks in advance for the help.

  I try to reuse a Labview VI within TestStand as a module of code.  There are a lot of input and output parameters, and I need to create a separate variable for most of them (probably globals file) so that I can change values dynamically during test sequences.  I see in the code module loading, associated parameters are automatically imported into the parameters of the step, but I would like to know if there is a way to automatically create variables to "convert" the parameters of the code module.  I read a few threads on the creation of dynamic variable and property magazine steps, but these do not seem to have what I'm looking for.  Please notify.  And, as usual, if it looks like I'm wrong understand how TestStand, please correct me.  I am only a few weeks to use it.  Thank you very much.

  The answer is no, you can't.

  You can ask TestStand create types of complex data for you.  There is a small button next to the parameter and it will create the type definition.  However, you should always create all instances and then move those to and from the VI.

  By default, TestStand will link the error message on the wire with the Step.Result.Error.  The rest are pretty much up to you.

  I guess the question/s would be: How does he know where to create the instances?  FileGlobals? People of the country? Settings? Globals station?  Step properties?  Constant value?  There are a ton of places that seem to be the options in question.  This can be a good feature request...

  At a command prompt, type: diskpart to start the Diskpart utility: "Diskpart version 0.0" is displayed as well as a Diskpart command prompt.

  1. At the prompt, type: list to list mounted hard disk volumes.
  2. At the prompt, type: select x (where x is the number of the hard disk drive you want to convert to GPT). The following information is displayed: "selected disk = x '.»»
  3. At the prompt, type: new GPT to add the GPT information into the non-volatile RAM (NVRAM).

     NOTE: this step does not create the GPT partition information.

  4. At the prompt, type: create name = "efi system partition" type = efisys Size = 102 to create the Extensible Firmware Interface (EFI) partition.

  many-to-many relationship is transformed into associative array / intersection during the engineering to the relational model. If you add attributes to the relationship that they will turn to the columns of this table. Use "Show > attributes of the relationship" in the context menu of the diagram so that they are visible on the diagram.

  I'm looking to put in place a system that automatically creates a document of data presented on a form. So imagine as I type "Jason" in the name field, "Orangutan" in the favorite animal area and when I click on print I am presented with an A4/Letter paper that says: 'my name is Jason and I love the orangutans', and the bottom is covered with cute orange monkeys. Where should I start?

  Long story long:

  I work in a store of the computer and because of my experience with Adobe products * I was responsible for creating all the signs in the store. I did all the signs for a year now and we now have a bunch of different signs requiring daily printing. Those more thorough and tedious for me is signs for the recovery computers. Unlike the new computers, the requirements are always different based on the particular model we redemption of the customer. There are all sorts of fields that are different in each case.

  As it is, I have a file illustrator with all the information in the right place, and when a computer is take all the technical characteristics, fill in the boxes on the right and show the layer from the image in order to get a picture of the corresponding model on my document. It takes considerable time and means the process is specific to me, IE if I'm not in the store, the computers on sale, because we cannot add a sheet of specifications and price.

  What I want to do is automate the process so that everyone in the store can make these signs. Just what they need to do is fill out a form (online or local) who asked the model, year, RAM, HARD drive, etc. * So when he clicks on submit that it returns completed sign they will print and put up next to the computer.

  I'm not entirely sure how to achieve this. I looked at FormCreater online free * Adobe, and I like the simple data output that it creates. However, I am uncertain about my next steps. I guess I'll need to send the results to a computer with blank templates for the recovery computers. It will then have to fill in the applicable fields and to automate all the work that I usually do.

  Where should I start? I'm willing to learn whatever it is to get this working.

  With my favorite 'graphic program': FileMaker Pro. (Yes. My favorite graphics-project tool is a relational database program).

  You see, you have discovered something that people discover more frequently all the time the graphics: your project is not a problem of graphics. It's a data problem.

  Note how little your problem has to do with graphics. Emphasis added:

  • .. We have a bunch of different signs requiring an impression every day.
  • the specs are still different based on the particular model
  • automate the process so that everyone in the store can do these signs
  • All what they have to do is fill out a form (online or on-site)
  • an image of the corresponding model

  See if this scenario seems attractive:

  I created a form with a number of checkboxes. Each box of concorde at a different stage in a project that is checked when completed. What I would do, if possible, is to add an assinged to date field for each check box that automatically fills in the date in the box has been checked.

  Hi Ken, Firefox will not start now, complaining that it cannot find its profile, or it starts up, but data are incomplete?

  Here is a procedure to return to your prior to refresh the data. It takes 5 minutes, but it's probably faster than the recovery of individual data files and those in a new profile from loading.

  Check inside the folder 'Old data Firefox' update adds on your desktop in a folder with a name random semi. If there is only one, that probably has your old settings and Add-ons. If there is more than one, you'll want to work with one who has been updated recently.

  Once you have identified the profile folder, that you want to restore, here is my "old profile resurrection suggested procedure:

  Overview

  Here are the steps described in more detail below:

  1. Create a new Firefox profile
  2. Delete all of this profile folder
  3. Copy in all of the old profile folder

  In the first table, click on the view file"" button. Firefox will launch your new profile folder in Windows Explorer.

  This folder open, switch back to Firefox and get out by using either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
  • (menu bar) File > Exit

  Firefox is closed, the profile folder must be front and Center, or you can activate it by using the taskbar.

  Copy old data instead of new

  In this new profile folder you just popped open - NOT the one on your desktop - select all content (you can use Ctrl + a) and delete (you can press Delete on the keyboard).

  Leave this window open, open or switch to your folder of old data of Firefox. Consult your old profile folder. At this level, you should see a folder named bookmarkbackups among other things.

  Select all (Ctrl + a) and copy (or right-click > copy or Ctrl + c).

  Switch to the empty profile folder in another window and paste (or right-click > paste or Ctrl + v). This may take a few minutes because some files are large.

  Launch Firefox

  Firefox should start in this 'new' profile with the old resurrected profile data. Success?

  For each available network, you can use the option to connect automatically. Alternatively, you can disable this option in order to use it for your WLAN only.

  First of all, thank you for helping me with this one.

  I use Picasa and organize semi-automatiquement all my photos on my hard drive. Given that Picasa will be abandoned, I want to spend all my photos/videos photos. What I get is, how to import a single folder in Photos and automatically creating a photo album. But I can't do with several files because I fight with Automator. I found some tutorials intestine on the web, but not for my particular situation.

  What I did (see screenshot):

  (1) departure of workflow must be the parent folder, and Automator should go in its subfolders and take one after the other.

  (2) now I need a variable to record the name of the folder. The name of the folder must be the new name of the photo album.

  (3) the final step is to Automator to import a record after another and create a photo album with the same name as the current folder.

  If I do, I have the problem that all imported as one (without subfolders) and the name of the album is always like "... / Desktop. I couldn't find solutions to this problem. Does anyone know what I need to add to Automator to do what I want?

  Right-click on a control and go to advanced-> customize.  This will open the control editor.  Change the type of a control to a Type def.  Customize if necessary and save the control.

  I have an Officejet Pro 8600 Plus and an Apple OSX Yosemite iMac running. I installed the full software from the HP support site, and in particular the analysis of the HP is version 4.4.1 (21).

  I want to create a color PDF directly in a file on my computer to the scanner.

  If I select Save as PDF, I get a b & w image in a file that is automatically created.

  If I select print daily scan opens in HP Scan and I am able to create an image in color, but with additional steps.

  I looked at other similar topics in 2012 and 2013 and saw advice to change the mode in HP utility/Scan to computer/change Scan tasks/editing, but there is no option of color Mode.

  Finally, I figured this out. It CAN be done.

  Go to HP utility/Scan of the computer.

  Make sure that enable Scan to computer is checked.

  Select Edit analysis jobs

  Select Save as PDF/change

  In the presets drop-down, select generalist

  In the section move the items from the Finder, you can also specify the folder where the scans will be saved.

  Saved color, managed directly from the printer scans on my iMac. Sweet!
