• Write orders for specific data channels in report output via script or generating an automated script...

  In my project, I need to do some calculations, and then get the data plotted in the given report model. I use an automated for this script. My script is doing all the calculations and then he did not select and drag and drop the selected channels on the report model. His recording of the report template is empty.

  If your script creates calculated channels, then you know what you're naming them - why your presentation of the STATE could not contain references to these names channels already?  Is it a dynamic number of conditional curves to the results of the analysis, or perhaps a dynamic number of REPORT sheets?

  You can programmatically change the reference of string of existing curves or the columns of the table with a VBScript DIAdem.  You can also add a curved column or a table with a VBScript DIAdem.  But the more you can save in the TDR file, work less you programming, this is the best place to start.

  to allow a user to Enterprise Manager to perform a specific activity, you should generally grant a combination of resources and target the privileges. In this case, I would try the following privileges:

  Privilege of target: manage the metrics of target (also included in the privilege of target 'Operator' and 'Full')

  Privilege of the resource: surveillance model visualization (also included in the 'complete surveillance model')

  If your target is a member of a group of Directors and included in the automated monitoring model synchronization process, you might also get Error Messages, if you try to manually apply a control template.

• VCAC/VCO integration - "workflow template."

  Hi all

  One way to extend the VCAC/VCO is making VCAC call VCO workflows when status changes. You make a copy of the "Workflow model" and do another integration so that it is called by the action plan. The issue is the "Workflow template' a number of input parameters vCACVm, vCenterVM etc. How are are solved by VCAC that nothing has been done by me on the action plan.

  OK... so, basically... Here's what's happening. When you run the workflow to set up the customizations in vCAC vCO, what happens is that the workflow of stub in IaaS get reconfigured to point to the State Workflows within the vCO under the path library-> vCloud Automation Center-> Infrastructure Administration-> extensibility-> workflow heels. Each of these workflows running more or less the same thing / in the same way, but with one distinction: they have an attribute defined for the State (externalWFStub). These workflows is the "shells" for everything that will happen and have only a single entry: the ID of the virtual machine in vCAC. From there on, the following occurs:

  1. Runs the workflow Workflow prepare run . This workflow will go back and get the vCAC VM Entity, which will then lead to get the vCAC host and VM vCAC items. There are other things going on here, but I don't get into that, because it is not relevant to your question (and you should really look into this yourself and search).
  2. Runs the workflow of runner of workflow . This workflow is going to go fill the vCAC VM properties, solve the vCenter / vCloud VM and it will then run the workflow specified for the blueprint, passing along those specific values.

  If you want to know the specific code and how it is all tied together, you can study these two workflow and search. They are part of the vCAC Plugin, then you won't be able to edit (and therefore break) them.

  Take advantage of the knowledge.

• VM Templates and custom reports

  I finally had the time to install VCO and LCM and I am about to see what he can do for us.

  What makes MCL attractive for us is decommissioning automated virtual machines.

  The other thing, we are very interested is in charge and reports.

  I would like to customize the reports. Is it possible directly? I guess I can work with the XML file, but that's not ideal either.

  Can Orchestrator help out me? VChargeback would be better for the load?

  Yes, LCM did a great job when it comes of the request, approval, commissioning, and auto-off service of Virtual Machines... but you're right, it is weak in the area of notification and chargeback. VMware Chargeback would certainly be a much better solution for the part internal billing of your solution.

  LCM reports are indeed limited, and creation of custom reports must be made through the vCenter Orchestrator Client. It's a bit of a process to create new reports and to make them display correctly in LCM, and there is no control over the order of the columns created Custom reports.

  I am trying to apply access levels to 60 pages of my site.  Levels of access are stored in the users table and their name of user, password, and other account information.

  When the access level is applied to a page, I get an error message, "this document model is from does not allow for changes outside the < html > tag."  The changes will be rejected. »

  I want to be able to make changes to my template and affect all the pages of the site, but individual changes to the access level to each page (or if I could create a second model and apply each to a page), but I tried it and can not understand.

  Here's the thing.  I was not realizing at first that you were using a built-in behavior of DW.  It was the source of my question.  What I was trying to get out of this is the structure of your table.  For example, in a case like this, you should potentially have 2-3 tables SQL.  Let's call them users, groups, and permissions.

  Basically, your users table connects a group of users.  Each group has its own information, so a second table, then the features pages of permissions based on the group, the third table.  The permissions table must consist of the user id and the name of the page group.  You then need to write a SQL query that would choose the user table, to check the connection and session and join the permissions to ensure then the logged in user has access to the page.  This isn't something that is usually done via the click of a mouse with a graphical interface.  It is usually coded by hand.  It might be possible to put the DW code in a header file, then change it to become automated like this, but I'm not familiar enough with the code to appeal from this judgment.  The closest thing I could think of in regards to an extension would probably be this: http://www.webassist.com/dreamweaver-extensions/powercms-builder/?lid=websitebuilders .

  Honestly I generally recommend for a person in your case to seriously consider a Content Management System (CMS) Drupal, Wordpress, CMSMadeSimple or anything in this sense because they have the built-in user control or with an installed extension.  It would save you a lot of work trying to get this working.

• How can I create CSS for the editable regions in the documents based on templates?

  I created a template in Dreamweaver CS4 by using their set of 3 columns, header and Footer option available. The model works fine in the browser. I inserted an editable region in the empty middle of the model column. I created a new page based on this template and want to be able to format the text that I entered in the editable using CSS. Any time, I try to create a new CSS rule I get the following dialog:

  Is it possible to create new CSS, which will apply to the information entered in the regions be modified of a document based on a template? Simple step by step instructions would be appreciated.

  Do not know what is the 'id' of the middle column, but you must target the text inside that

  You must make sure that you include the above in the editable page css region and HE MUST come after any link to the style sheet css main.

  If in doubt post the code for the page here and say what you want to be purple and I'll have a look.

  The tip is stop created with the css dialog box in DW, it's a load of bollocks and started writing some simple css directly in the page itself. It is easier and gives you more control than any interface automated half cooked in the oven.

  Start learning some simple css. There is absolutey zillions of resources on the net. A couple of hours well spent and your miles further. If you keep pressing DW to do everything for you, then I'm afraid you'll just be going around in circles.

  Enter the code and don't be afraid of him, take it apart and see how it works. Slowly step by step and little by little you will realize how simple structures are and how simple css really is.

  Tools-> preferences-> files-> directories-> templates, then mention some directory say C:\MyTemplates.
  Put your scripts as *.tpl format in this directory (say script1.tpl).
  Tool-> model then lists.

• Automator leave all

  I want a script to close all open applications and empty the trash.

  Applications and Finder behave differently.

  Automator "Utilities" options appear the best result, so I'm focused there.

  I am able to stop all applications, but the Finder is stubborn

  I can close the Finder components as a group within Automator, but combining this group with the group "Close all Applications" The Automator scripts fails to close the components Finder (Finder, Get info and inspector window).

  I noticed that sometimes the AppleScript works, and a second later it stops working.

  For now, I found a way to make it work. Automator works great Finder asking you to empty the trash. Then I dropped the trash from Group 2 to group 4, the bottom of the collection of Automator. Now it works... for now...

• Node of automation is much more difficult to 'uncheck' than to 'create '.

  I use logical X about 5 months now, and I felt a fairly frustrating relationship with interaction of automation.  When I load automation, 'creation' of a knot of automation is simple... 1. click anywhere along the yellow line creates a node that is precisely where I clicked.  However, "popping/unclicking/destroy" this same node takes anywhere from 3 to 6 clicks to work.  I would love to be able to uncheck these nodes with the same exact ease with which I am able to create.  No relief in this case would be great!  Thank you

  Double click on the node to remove it... as simple as when it was created...   Click to create, double-click Delete.

  

• Motion 5, how to save a template of the PCF as Project Builder?

  I am a user of Apple Motion 5. I don't have FCP since I'm only interested in entertainment.

  I downloaded a nice gift that after installation, stood under Final Cut generators in Motion 5. I try to open it, change some settings and save the result as a Motion project. However, I have found that I can just save it as a new model (which there still appears somewhere under Final Cut generators).

  Is it correct that I can't save it as a project of Motion? If this is not the case, correct, how to proceed?

  Yes, FCPX models are a very different type of project of Motion than a generic Motion.  They have different suffixes.  You want a .motn file.  Those of FCPX is .moef (effects), .motn (generators), .moti (titles), .motr (transitions).   Some of them have hidden the integrated structural elements that make their work as in FCPX and does not work as a generic Motion project.

  That said, you can get what you want.  Here are three tips:

  1 - Note that a generator of FCPX is the same suffix as a generic Motion project, .motn.  Just move it out of the Motion Tempates folder if you do not use FCPX.  You can get rid of the files "large.png" and "small.png", that they are only used in FCPX media browser previews.  Save the 'Media' folder if all is in it, and if so, keep the .motn file and the folder inside their original folder, together.  If the "Media" folder is empty, you can extract the file of project .motn by itself.

  2. you can start a new generic Motion project, open the FCPX template file, and then copy and paste layer objects in between.  That's what I do quite often.

  3. just as a tip, if you have a generic Motion project, in the file menu, you can chose to publish under a generator FCPX file.  But not to record a project generator FCPX a generic.

• Automation kit home

  I have 5 bulbs of Hue in my house and I've implemented each of them in different rooms and different floors in my house. They work perfectly when I'm home or outdoors. Remote access was not a problem. However, Automation has been a problem. If I have set them to turn on at a certain time during the week, they light up on certain days of the week and not on others.  They light up the morning weekend day. Then they turn on random on the day. I continue to check if they are all the time, when I'm home or out or turn off. The geofencing does not at all.

  Wat can I do? Is - this fixable or just a glitch in software that only Apple can fix, if enough people's complaint.

  I was going to get an Automator garage door, but now I'm not sure.

• How to configure automation with Apple TV, Homekit and Hue

  I have what I believe should be a viable home automation installation: a new brand (4th generation, Sept. 16) Apple TV, a hub of hue with the support of Homekit and seven lights attached via the hub.  The lights appear in the home iPad app and can be enabled or disabled here.  I can also do things with Siri on the Apple TV as "turn one room family", and have the appropriate lights.  Thus, it seems that everything works.

  BUT: when I go to the tab "Automation" in the app iPad Home, all I get is a page telling me that I should get an Apple TV to put in place of the automated activities - there is no way to actually DO something.  Am I missing something obvious?  I do this also?  Don't forget that I can control the lights in the House on the iPad, so they certainly know each other...  Thank you!
