AutoPlay does not start for my Canon camera now that I have installed a new hard drive. Dell has spent an hour setting up AutoPlay to open Windows Live, which is what I did before. Is there a solution to this? I can access Live, but I just want to do it automatically, as it did before.

We installed the disc Canon still once, incidentally. I installed the new drive two days ago. Everything else that we re-installed seems to work very well.

  • AutoPlay does not open (as it was)...

AutoPlay does not open (as it did) when I connect iPhone via USB for importing pictures into my computer (Vista). I selected run Autoplay box and selected "Ask Me every time". From what I read, it seems that a recent update may be what is cancelling Autoplay. Any ideas of how to enable AutoPlay as it used to be?

Click Windows Update in the list of all programs.

Click updates installed downstairs to the left.

Should be grouped under the title of Microsoft Windows.

    Scroll to KB971029

Right-click, and then click on uninstall at your own risk

If you use automatic updates you will have it.

Also if you do not check each news updates before installing will have installed you it as it would say only "Security Update."

  • CD/DVD AutoPlay does not not on Satellite L550-1CC

    Hello

AutoPlay does not appear when you insert a disc in the CD/DVD drive or use a USB more.
He used be ok up to 3 months ago.
I don't remember if I did anything to get rid of AutoPlay.

It is a satellite L550-1cc, windows 7. 64-bit operating system.

I went into Control Panel / hardware & audio / Auto Play and Auto Play's Ticked the box for all.
    Still no Auto game
Then go into My Computer directions click on DVD - RW drive / properties / material / click on TSST corp CD DVGW
TS-L633C. The display now indicates "this device now works correctly.
But there is STILL no Auto play.

Please anyone know where to go to the next, I'm lost?

    Thanks Martin

The AutoPlay option isn't appearing any more in Win 7 under the CD/DVD drive properties.
Auto Play located in the Panel as you suggested above.

    Panel-> AutoPlay
Here you must check the option called reading auto use for all devices and media

Now if you want to listen to an Audio CD, you must choose a default application for Audio CD. Here, change the option called choose a default of Windows Media Player, in case you want to use this software for automatic playback.

AutoPlay does not.  After searching the forums took measures following, all with the same results.

    (1) the machine reset to default, Panel closed and recycled.

Set of 2) each option for the program appropriate (s) desired and recycled machine.

    Regedit:

    (1) registry implemented as backup.

    (2) adjusted HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/services/cdrom/AutoRun - with a value of (1).  Left regedit and recycled machine. Note: The article below Autorun (AutoRunAlwaysDisable) contains a list of devices. Since many of the listed devices are my engraver of CD/DVD BD - ROM mark, this could be the cause of the problem?  If so, how to change the list so that AutoPlay will work?

  • NI-VISA 5.3 driver Wizard does not support USB 3.0 devices

    Hi all

It seems that NI-VISA 5.3 does not support USB 3.0 devices. When I try to use the driver Wizard to create a driver for a USB 3.0 device, I get the error "ERROR-1073807178: device descriptor error - value not valid bMaxPacketSize0 (must be set to 8, 16, 32, or 64 bytes). I noticed that the unit has been giving wMaxPacketSize0 of 512 (2 ^ 9). But the driver Wizard treats the value 9. So I think that Assistant driver does not support USB 3.0 devices. If someone could confirm this?

Thank you very much in advance!

    Jackie

    Hello Jackie,.

Unfortunately, USB 3.0 is not officially supported in VISA 5.3 when you use VISA Driver Wizard.

A non-official solution is to work around the "information in the descriptor' by selecting 'Other' in the list of devices. You will need to manually enter the 'USB manufacturer ID (vendor ID)' and 'type USB (Product ID) Code. You will then need to find your driver in Windows Device Manager, right click and select "update driver software". This, however, is not a workaround solution guaranteed as NI-VISA 5.3 is not officially compatible USB 3.0.

I try to install vista on a computer running xp. XP does not even recognize the vista disc is in the drive. XP recognizes any other drive that I use and the vista drive is recognized on other computers, that I put it in it's not a prob with the disk or cd rom

The Vista installation disc is a DVD. Apparently, you don't have a DVD player. You would need to purchase/install a DVD-ROM or DVD - RW to install Vista. Are you sure that your hardware supports Vista before doing this?

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/Windows-Vista/get/system-requirements.aspx
Even if a minimum of 1 GB, the requirements in the real world Vista requires a minimum of 2 GB of RAM to run without problem. You will also need Vista drivers for all your hardware.

First thing to do is to check its Vista compatibility at the link above, and if not to see what patches/solutions are available from its manufacturer...

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-compatibility-mode/

If this is not Vista compatible, read the info on the link above.
It works for some programs, but not all.

This applies to software programs, NOT hardware drivers.

If it's Vista compatible > uninstall it > Re-download/save to your desktop > right click on the setup.exe > run as admin.
