It also does not show a folder with a zipper zipper top more. The icon is just a blank page. I've read a few other questions, and answering machine recommended another program. Satellite M50: Windows did not start because of a corrupted system file
Hi all.
I have a problem with my laptop Satellite M50. When you turn on the laptop, a message appears: "Windows did not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \windows\system32\config\system»
I am aware of my product recovery CD-Rom and have inserted - however, I don't want to reformat my HARD drive as I have files I back (foolishly) not upward.
Is there another method to repair the corrupted file without having to wipe all files on the HARD drive? (I don't have an XP CD - the operating system is loaded OEM when the laptop was purchased)
Thank you very much!
Hello
Hmm, using the repair console could be a good way to copy or replace the damaged or missing files on the HARD drive.
BUT you need to start the console of Windows XP CD of original Startup Repair.
Without this CD, you will not be able to repair the operating system. The Toshiba Recovery CD contains only image files and does not start the repair console. Now the question is; How to back up data.
You can remove the HARD drive and connect it to the PC second via the external USB HARD disk controller.
Then you should be able to copy important files on the second computer.
After backup files you can start the installation from the recovery CD.Good luck

WHAT TYPE OF FILE IS: EN_WINDOWS_7_PROFESSIONAL_X64_dvd_x15 - 65805.iso
Hello
Through my college, Microsoft had a complementary offer for students of computer class download software among several offered on the site: MSDN Academic Alliance Software Center Microsoft.
I tried to download Windows 7 Professional. But I don't know how to download correctly. We offer time-limited from Microsoft. Now, I'm not going to school, so my school can not help me with the download of related issues.
I have this file-(EN_WINDOWS_7_PROFESSIONAL_X64_dvd_x15 - 65805.iso) recorded on in the Temp folder on the C drive of my computer. But I don't know what the right file? Should I burn to DVD? File size is 41.4 MB.
Can someone help me with this? If this is the right file? If so, then can I've burn it to DVD and save it for later installation on my computer?
Prompt response will be appreciated.
Thank you.
YM
By its name, it is the image ISO of the DVD Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (English language).
Depending on the size, (41.4 MB according to you), it is incomplete by many and of no use.

It was more than likely a mistake by the creator of forms. No doubt, they have created a field copy and paste this one to create others. Usually, it's ok, but must be given to all fields different identifiers (names). All the fields with the same name will be filled with the same content.

Problem with Lightroom and external hard drive. Files and folders deleted.
In the classroom (8.1 windows computers) import us images that .dng files on an external hard drive using Lightroom.
After the Lightroom, insert us the memory card containing photos and attach an external hard drive. (formatted to ntfs)
We create a new catalog on the external hard drive and then create a folder as the destination for the images on the external drive as well.
After passing to the newly formed catalog in Lightroom, we import the photos from the memory card to the external hard drive.
Photos are present in the folder 'import' on the external hard drive after the end of the import, so checking with windows Explorer.
After the closure of LR and disconnect the external hard drive of the computer, it appears that the newly created files and imported files have disappeared.
We tested with an external hard drive in exfat. The same problem.
There is no problem when you copy directly in Explorer windows of memory card files to the external drive.
The files are not hidden. Tested on mac and windows.
If you said that the photo files are on the external hard drive when you checked using Windows Explorer during the class? Is this correct? YES
Then you go home and the files are not on the external hard drive? YESWell, it is a mystery, but there is no way that Lightroom can be the culprit.
Is it the same for the catalog file, in class, he was present on the hard disk according to the Windows Explorer, and when you get home, is no longer on the drive? YES
Same conclusions, it is not Lightroom.

Today, I downloaded a zipped file and the "extract all" option is missing? When I double click, it doesn't open the program the zipped file is supposed to play in (i.e - iTunes, Windows Media Center), but nothing does not appear or play? What should I do?
Hi LadyJ03,
Make sure that the downloaded file is not corrupted.
Important The method below mentioned steps show you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.
