The tool 'average' in aid is described as:
"mean is the average, or the average of the values in the input sequence X.»
However, feeding on a wide range of single-precision numbers in this function, I get a different result than when I take the same table, the total of the values in the loop, and divide by the number of samples.
Opening to the top of the 'average' tool vi is a call to the dll that I can't tell what's under the hood.
The size of the array has 3 554 361 elements, the source which is a tdms file where we collect current data over a period of about 49 hours. There was quite an error where a noticeable difference in our calculation mAh was apparent (value obtained during the test, which is a medium right vs the calculated value to reload the data using "average"), which causes my investigation of the case.
So it appears 'means' and 'medium' is not really the same as stated in the help file. Is - this intentional or a bug?

I see something that will significantly reduce your performance: the connection points. Click on System Preferences > users and groups > login items and take a look at this list. The drop box starts up with the computer, as is Google Drive. These are the memory and CPU hog. In fact, outside the iTunes Helper, this entire list is probably to have an effect on the performance of the system.
Try this: highlight each item, and then select the sign less down the list to remove. Restart the computer and run the EtreCheck again. I am betting, you will see a big improvement.
You can add items one by one to determine which ones really is you get bogged down backwards.

Attended from Apple Store and advised irreparable. This is a major failure, that I would not have expected so early in his life.
MacBook Pro NEVER let fall. Kept in a hard case that is attached to the beginning. A travel bag well padded laptop computer and to Uni 3 times a week and then kept on the desk at the rest house of the time.
Less than 3-1/2 years battery life doesn't seem fair when the system was so well groomed. Backup Time Machine has been religious, who have so.
Used mainly for photos and photo editing and University study.
Recently migrated all THE photos and video on an external 1 TB drive (Seagate backup slim) plu.
Any ideas or advice GREATLY appreciated.
Hard drives, like any other mechanical device, are prone to failure. That's why you kept backups.
Don't forget that 'medium' no means half has no sooner. There is no need to compare an average to any specific device.

How the average pace calculation is done in outdoor training apps option?
I used my watch for the 3rd time for my market. I walked total 34 minutes and 1.34 miles. Average cadence he shows is 25'25 "e, which is completely false.
For my other walk 1 mile in 20 minutes, it shows speed avg as 22' 08 ".

Why should I clear my cache on average every 30 minutes?
On average, every 30 minutes or so, when I opened a new tab or refresh only a current tab, the page is completely distorted, links or text missing and other various caching issues. Why this happens so often? It is very annoying that I have to manually clear my cache every 30 minutes... If I get up to eat or to watch a show or any other number of things... when I return from my browser does not cache pages correctly and I have to delete it manually each time.
This happened to me in the past and finally disappeared... but after I updated the browser, he began to do this again. I'll have to resort to using Internet Explorer against my will just so that I'm not bothered by that. How can this be fixed for good?
If you happen to have a PC/computer Samsung laptop, this problem of random cache of compensation has been associated with a program called Samsung Help Center. You can search around to see if there is a fix, or if he's still the best solution to uninstall.

MacBook Pro EtreCheck said below-average performance
I've seen people with a range of rotation post a list of less than average performance EtreCheck. I read on the limitation of the spotlight to documents and on uninstall security, in my case (I noticed that it much) of Symantec and uninstalling MacKeeper. I also have the Cocktail. Must I first uninstall all the people?
Everyone sees other problems? I've been on a Mac since 1987, but I'm a designer, I do not understand the report.
I have the beach ball on my Mac: a mid-2011, iMac 27 in., 16 GB of ram, running in mid-2012 El Cap 10.11.4 and a 15 MacBook Pro, 8 GB, same OS El Cap.
Any help is very appreciated, the slowless makes me crazy!

Can comeon please help me with the calculation of the average and standard deviation of the discreet following random variable probability distribution.

I would like to the average and the standard deviation of the number of people per car.
I used the 'statistics 1 VAR App' and I entered in the following:
When I click on 'Statistics', the following text is displayed:
Responses (rounded to two decimal places) for the mean and the standard deviation should be:
Average = 3.67
SD = 1.31
It seems that the statistical calculations are based on the column "D1" only.
Is someone can please show me how I can put the statistical calculations to include the data in the columns "D1" and "D2"?
