AVT Stingray speed cameras

I have two AVT StringGray F033B and F033C cameras. And I have Windows XP SP3. I read through the discussion and get to know that the problem of speed IEEE declined is fixed in SP3. But, Max when I use 1394 generic to control cameras, I can only set the speed to 100 M (it's the only option). I use the connection 1394b which is supposed to give me 800M. I wonder if there is a solution?

Also, I tried the driver provided by TSA. It may work correctly in S800. But it seems that this driver is not supported in MAX?

Thank you.

In fact, Microsoft has not set their S800 problem in XP SP2 or SP3 or Vista.  Fortunately they have apparently fixed in Windows 7 release candidate.

In the meantime, please see several effective options described in article http://goavt.mykb.com/Article_249D6.aspx AVT technical support knowledge base

Are you absolutely sure that the detector is compatible with Vista and compatible with Vista 64 bit?  Have you checked:http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-vista/?

Try to install on another computer and see if it works there - so we can determine if this is a problem with the computer or a problem with the device (even if new, it may still be defective).  Are you CERTAIN it requires no software drivers device or firmware or to work - just plug in and it should be good to go?

If it is just plug and this works, what are the instructions you need to follow precisely?

What are the EXACT and WHOLE messages, you've been receiving - Word for Word?  The unit requires a USB 2.0 port vs 1.1 and you use the right pair (or you have the right pair on your system)?  Try to use all available ports to see if it works using at least one of them.

If USB is not connected, how you get the message?  I mean, if the device is not connected how it can send a message that the device is not connected.  I suspect you have to do at some facilities.  I suggest you only uninstall what you have installed and start from scratch to see if it was just a bad installation or a corrupted file or maybe a missing step or step out of use.

If thatdoesn can't work, contact the technical assistance service of the manufacturer for installation assistance.  As it is brand new, I'm sure they will be willing and able to help you get this job - and they learn more about its functioning and installation procedures and system requirements that do us (and to be honest, I don't know anything - not even not the manufacturer, the brand and model of the device).

I hope this helps.  Keep us in the loop.

  • AVT Marlin IEEE1394 camera not presented to the MAX

    Hello world

I have an existing PXI system running with Windows XP, a camera IEEE1394 and IMAQ for IEEE 1394 and NOR-Vision software. Which works very well. Now, I am forced to upgrade to Win7 and I try to run again...

I have an AVT Marlin IEEE 1394 camera connected via an ExpressCard-FireWire adapter to my PXI system. The adapter is displayed in the Windows Device Manager under the element in the tree 'IEEE1394 Bus Hostcontroller' as 'Compatible OHCI Instruments1394 hostcontroller Texas', the connected camera appears under the element in the tree 'NOR IMAQ interfaces' as "Digital of NI - IMAQdx IIDC camera". But when I opened NOR-MAX, the camera is not shown here. Under the item of the tree 'Devices and Interfaces' there are only the chassis PXI, COM, LPT, PCI-CommunicationController and NetworkDevices, but no camera. I installed the AVT driver package and got access to the camera with their demo tool, but with driver AVT camera even does not appear in the windows Device Manager. Is however must work with IMAQ.

    Help, please!

  • Sony ILÇE-7R - what is the speed of read/write in the camera

I have several Sony ILÇE-7R cameras used for a given application where more than 80 panes in a row with 1 second interval occur.

When you are taking pictures on a 1 sec shutter time / 1.2 s, then the camera tends to slow when writing the buffer on the SD card. (A suitable high-speed sdcard has been used).  When the buffer is disabled on the SD card, then the camera accepts no any command of the shutter (IR Led or cable gives the same question), so I'm missing components/images.

What is the read/write speed in the camera?

What are the compensation of buffer time?

Are there settings that can improve the buffer time on the SD card, while taking still pictures of compensation?

Is there firmware settings that have been implemented to improve the write speed camera?

    Thank you very much

  • A6000 SD card write speed?

What is the write speed maximum of internal A6000s... one of my friends offered to buy my current card at almost full prices. But there is no reason to upgrade if im already at maximum speed cameras (an example would be the Canon 5 d M3, which cannot write to SD card with about 45 MB/S)

So, what is the write speed from MAX SDcard of the Sony (Ilçe-6000) a6000? is it not able to take advantage of a 280 MB/s of sandisk card?

You can not buy a SD card that will not work in an A6000. If the card you get is capable of speeds of reading/writing that cannot the A6000, the A6000 can still use the card, and your next camera may be able to take advantage of the extra speed.

In other words, which are always slower, either the camera or the card, which will be the limiting factor, which is ok, and if the card can run faster than the camera can manage, they still work together. And if the device can run faster than the card, the camera will slow down until no matter what the speed, the card can handle.

Then buy the fastest card you can get and if your A6000 cannot take advantage of the extra speed, he can still use it, and maybe your A6000M2 will be able to use the extra speed.

  • How to create a negative feedback on a case structure to estimate changes in speed among a range of speeds

Hi I am new in programming with LabVIEW and I try to create a program that allows to estimate gear changes based on how fast the vehicle of support falls. The speed is measured by an OBD device and the results are saved in a spreadsheet. I created a sample program that contains a loop that reads the table of speeds of line by line. I then created a case 2 structures for example 2 speed brackets each support represents a gear (3rd 35-54 km/h, 4th gear gears 55-79 km/h). My problem is I want to count how many times the speed changes of support from one to the other to symbolize a change of speed. Right now my program will count only the number of speeds within each support the entire speed range.

So in summary I need help, trying to create an effect of negative feedback while first gear which falls within a range of speed is counted as a speed change, but none afterwards speeds are counted until a new slice of speed came.

I attatched the logfile and VI of suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

I made some changes to your code

1 replaced the 2 structures dealing with one, which displays the report.

With the help of numerical values (instead of Boolean values) as the case selector - you can use whole; I see in the file CSV that all your speeds are integers of anyway, but I added a bit of code that allows to convert an integer, rounded down. So where logic says 35-54kph inclusive, because whatever between 54 & 55 be have been rounded down, this will also take to speeds up to 54.999999 (etc.) if need be.

I then sent this 'current gear' variable to a shift register, so each iteration of the while loop allows to compare the report with the previous train. This case structure returns 0 if the speed is out of range (35-80).

    2. I added the code that essentially says "is the new different gear to gear for the last iteration? YES - to increment the number of variable gears. NO - do not change the number of variable changes"this variable is also passed in a shift register, it's can be passed from one iteration to iteration.

    3. I've got rid of 2 shift registers that you added, to write off the table index, because it is more effective and less code to just use the terminal of the iteration. (Don't forget iterations of loops are zero indexed).

At present, the code I've written generates the total number of changes in speed (0-3, 0-4, 3-4, 4 - 3, 4-0, 3-0). If you only want to speed changes, there are between 3 & 4, you could put a structure affair around the section of code that I added a box of decoration autour and run that code if the current/previous gear is not = 0.

I hope that this help - at least to give you an idea of how this can be accomplished.

    Thank you

  • acquire at 800 Mbps with avt pike on 64-bit Windows Vista

    Hello forum,.

I'm using labview 2010 (32-bit) on a 64 - bit windows vista system (Yes, I didn't improve my labview soon) and I have an AVT pike f023b camera connected via a firewire 1394b port.

Before, on a system 32-bit, I could acquire using 800mbps buspackage AVT, but it does not work with 64 bit systems.

does anyone know how to get 800mbps with Pike camera using labview?

    Thank you.

    Veritas

If you are using a 3 rd-party with IMAQdx bus driver (no doubt so things like 800 operation will work under Vista), you must contact that provider to see if they have a 64-bit version available. Otherwise IMAQdx will use native drivers in the OS provided for the bus interface. The drivers provided by the OS does not support 800 on Vista, but they do on Windows 7.

  • 1394 camera does not appear in MAX

Hi, I have a new AVT Pike 1394 camera that deserves to be supported by LabView. It works fine with the software of the seller. However, it does not appear in the action and even if Automation is expected to be taken in charge.

    I'm under LabView 8.6 with NOR-IMAQ 4.1 and NOR-IMAQdx 3.2

Any suggestion how to fix this annoying problem?

    Hello

Please make sure that the Microsoft 1394 adapter driver is installed and not the driver fix (is installed from the FirePackage) no more.
You can use the 'install or remove the 1394 driver' tool from the FirePackag directory or manually in the Device Manager.

When the camera makes its appearance in the device as a device of imaging Manager, it will also be available in MAX.

  • HP laptop model: 15-ac121dx: upgrade of ISP speeds to 200/20 from 30/5... I am capped on the speed of DL tho... Help?

My ISP sent me my new router/modem that was installed. They then sent a mail about 2 weeks later indicating the new speeds came into affect. My old speeds were 30/5, now, they should be 200/20. The upload speed is perfect every time to settle at 21-23. It is wired btw. Download caps, 38-40mbps speed. My wifes laptop (Mac) Gets the 200/20 every time, when the WiFi it obviously goes down a bit, but not by much. My ISP had a tech come out and his laptop got 200/20. My iPhone which is WiFi all obviously gets 100-130mbps download. Now I know why my laptop is capping at 40mbps-38. And you mind that's all new laptop just bought 1 week ago and came up with 10 windows already on it. Any help would be great.

Quick Note: My Xbox One also caps to 38-40mbps and it is also wired... the two Microsoft, the two Windows 10

    Hello

Unfortunately no, well Yes, but it will cost pile because you have to change the circuit board (motherboard) which can cost up to 75% of the price of the machine now, plus the cost of installation.

Update: Other options is to use USB adapters, but they are not cheap.

    Kind regards.

  • Problem of processor on the Satellite A200 - 14 d?

Hello, I have a Satellite A200 14 d and I installed Vista. Recently, I downloaded CPU - Z and had a look at the details of the processor. There is one annoying thing: falls the processor speed of 1800 Mhz to 700 Mhz, whenever it is not being used, even if in the BIOS it has the fixed value and the computer is plugged in and power management it is set to 100% too. Is this a problem?

    Why is this? Thank you.

First: no, this isn't a problem. I mean if you need preformance then the CPU will automatically until it s normal speed.

With regard to the 1800 - 700 Mhz: I think the chipset made by himself. Maybe it s a powersaving feature internal. Weird is that the CPU does not work on top speed even if it s on fixed speed cameras. Usually it's REALLY NO problem since the machine is at your service with the speed you require.

I think that it s more a subjective issue that is your point of view, which is certainly understandable because worried you´re. But I think you should live from your machine is not defective and works perfectly. (It would be another thing if the machine would crash constantly or if you have some bluescreens or another..)

I hope that it s now clearer for you. :)

    Welcome them

  • Synchronize data waveform and video [AVI]

    Dear users,

I'm trying to match the time of a video using a high-speed camera and data waveform graphs to show what each frame in recording waveform graph. Video and data from the sensors triggered from the same source. Samples of the camera at 10 kHz while data acquisition to 80 kHz.

I pressed on--video - display - frequency = 10000 [1/s] and start time 0 [s]. In addition, I chose the cursor of the curve to force the graph to start. Video with data are not synchronized as the video ends quickly so that the chart does not reach the Summit. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi StathPol,

Check the 'Unit' property in the chain of the hour or the waveform delta x property, depending on whether you are using.  Perhaps your sensor values have a "ms" or something for the unit of time information string.

  • Problem with the different Labview platform

Maybe this question should be address to OR.

I have this library calling a DLL registry. The library aims to convert a movie from hard disk (type *.mcf) file type in image stream and then to show and possibly to save.

The DLL is designed by the designer of the NAC camera, which is a high speed camera. The code is based on the properties, methods and events of DLL.

The code works well in Labview 8.6.1, in Labview Labview 12.0f3 11.0.1. Unfortunately the code does not work in 11.0.1f2 of Labview which is one that I develop my applications.

I'll post the code developed by the Japan of NOR (camera is also designed for the Japan) and the mcf and the DLL file to be saved.

The code is compiled in 8.6.1.

Save the dll first, then open the NAC MGF Control_E.vi.

    Eyebrows the mcf file

    Press the Open button

Drag the images one by one to show the content of the images of the mcf.

If you want to open under another labview 8.6.1 and then copy the folder and launch a massive compilation under this version can open the top of the page even vi.

Please, show me what is different for the different versions of labview so in my version does not.

    That you,

    Virginia

    Thank you, Rolf.

You were right, everything is good now.

First thing I thought was this pointer, I received as conversion event which I have often noticed will be negative number, the way that I watched. I consider this number as being a pointer to the cluster bitmap info to convert image and I wonder how is it might be negative. I noticed that it was negative any versions of Labview. But it seems there is more than one handler to the bitmap of the converted image info. In fact, I asked the NAC SDK its pointer designer but is a very complex for the information chain and the SDK has no information in this area.

    Thank you very much

  • Producer consumer Start Trigger

Short explanation: I use a party apparatus 3rd signal a TTL to use as my trigger early in my VI. My cDAQ and modules seem to have the ability to send a trigger start regardless, but I could not track down the how to do this in a system of producer/consumer.  I have an idea at the bottom of the long explanation.

    Long explanation:

I am running a test system that monitors the pressure wave by an inflammation of the hydrogen/oxygen. The components are a cDAQ-9188 with modules 9222 (x 3 HAVE broadband), 9481 (x 2 relays), 9402 (x 1 i/o Module), 9221 ('Low' speed HERE).

Based on the recommendations contained in this forum, I placed my DAQ in a producer/consumer architecture.

At this point the system works for the most part, I still have some more things to add for all the information I want to collect. However, it records at high speed and the 9221 and the 9222 modules are synchronized. He collected reliable data to date successfully.

When the system boots it will follow, but not save. I need to fill the structure tested with gas at a specific concentration before I switch on/registration. When I press the record button I have a TTL of the 9402 signal to my high-speed camera and I close a relay on a 9481 who engages in an ignition system. Ignition system takes a variable amount of time to load and shoot so I have a timer that leaves the TTL and the active relay for half a second.

My problem and it is a small, comes up with the system monitoring and synchronization. In order to get the system to synchronize properly, I had to generate an external impulse in PFI0 to use as a trigger. I tried to assign the different clocks available as a trigger of the beginning, but I found myself with unsynchronized data.

Is there a way to generate a pulse on my 9402 to use as a trigger? It feels stupid for me to use an external device, when I have something that can generate the signal that I need.

Thinking about this post, I have solved my problem, at least in my head. I think I can move the output TTL VI (that I'll eventually change to DAQmx) in the loop of producer and move my statements true or false for the consumer in the form of a 1 d array loop in my queue to start recording. Probably more than that, but I can only learn by experimentation on the right?

    Thoughts? Recommendations?

    VI attached.

You cannot generate a pulse with the 9402 himself. The pulse would be actually generated by the 9188. You must create a task of meter output to generate a pulse train. Try the attached example as a starting point to experiment with the meter.

This Vi is for LabVIEW 2013, if you have an older version let me know and I'll try to convert.

  • x 220 card reader sd card

X 220 supports to class 10 or more 32 GB and sdhc cards

    All,

I jumped into a Patriot class 10 LX series one obtained 13.3 MB/s write and 3.8 MB/sec in reading using H2testW1.4 as the test application.  I jumped into a new card Sandisk Extreme Pro SDHC UHS-1 estimated at 95 MB/s and got 47 MB/sec in reading writing and 62.5 MB / s.  Then. Yes... this drive supports SDHC and UHS - 1 cards.  On blogs of speed camera test, the sandisk card has been reported at 45-47 MB/sec in writing and ~90Mb/s read with a guy pretending that it not ~90Mb/s read/write on a system USB 3.0 so I * think * speeds I get are probably the max for the 220 X.  Bottom line is that the speeds I get are smokin' fast compared to most USB 2.0 systems.
