• the mouse jumps too many spaces

  I have Vista Home Basic Edition computer 530 dell inspirn.   When I right click pass a space with my Wired dell mouse that he jumps 2 03 places.  This happens with maps, photos and Internet games. even if I try to increase the font size by using the sign to expand it.  He did for a while but deteriorate.  I checked for updates on the mouse driver and he said everything was working ok. the mouse is compatible mouse microsoft HID. someone at Dell told me that it was a software problem, but does not tell me how to fix it.  Please help me if you have any sugestions.

  Hello Shirley,

  When you say that you right-click and it moves boxes do mean it that the mouse seems to be clicking several times whenever you click it once?
  It may just be a bad mouse or key clings. Maybe it's time to buy a new mouse or try a different mouse, to see if there is also this question.

• All Plug-Ins missing from PS CC2015 all of a sudden, not after update

  I use PS CC2015 and download of the updates, I'm updating.  I use a Mac running Yosemite 10.10.2.  All my plug-ins: Topaz, Nik, OnOne, AutoFX and floods suddenly disappeared. To clarify, this isn't something that happened after the passage in 2015 from 2014, the plug-ins exist for a long time but are not there now. I still see them in my Finder in the Applications/Photoshop CC2015/Plug-Ins folder. Help, please!

• Photoshop keeps acting as if I'm holding keys

  A bit of a bug/issue complicated, but I'll do my best to try to explain what is happening.

  I work with Photoshop CC 2014 on a Mac, Yosemite 10.10.5. I have a Wacom Cintiq 13HD installed with the latest drivers (maybe that's still her, I don't know).

  When I'm not working, Photoshop seem to think sometimes that I cling on certain keys. It will happen randomly when I'm working, and it became very frustrating.

  For example, when I use the Brush tool and I cancel an order (cmd + alt + z), sometimes it will act as if I keep cmd + ALT. This is especially annoying because, while I am painting and drawing and occasionally using the Undo command, it move at random and duplicate my layer. Other times, it will not change the tool and will recognize that I have let go of those keys, so I never know when it will happen. This happened even when using ExpressKeys of the Tablet (which I have to cmd + alt + z), so this isn't a problem with the keys on my keyboard.

  Sometimes it will also think I retain only cmd and will move my layer. Same thing when I use the ExpressKeys.

  Or, for example, when I hold alt to use the pipette, it will still hold the pipette sometimes after I have have let go of the ALT key and have the active brush tool.

  What worked for me is to hit Esc whenever I see that the cursor indicates a different tool, but it's really annoying to have the cursor randomly changes every few seconds and have to spend half my time to work find how to cancel travel and the color that I took before and etc..

  Did people have suffered with the new update of Wacom, or is this a bug in Photoshop?

  When I see a Mac shortcut keyboard and Wacom in the same post, I generally think of the white window plugin.  It may or may not solve your problem, but it would be a good starting point.

• Speeches and a .key file cannot be opened

  I'm unable to open or work on Keynote documents. I get an error popup image that says: cannot open 'FILE.key' because it is not a valid document to Keynote. I'm assuming that the same problem will occur in numbers and pages so I have not used either of these programs in a very long time so I do not have a file to test on.

  I know that the file is indeed a valid Keynote document. I recently had to reinstall my package iWork 09 since the original software discs - I have them have not purchased through the App store or my iCloud account. I have a software key. I can't move my OS to Sierra right now because I have other software that I use for work and tech support as we said we cannot go immediately. My current OS is El Capitan 10.11.6, and I have a MacBook Pro 15 "retina.

  Any advice on obtaining Keynote works again until I can make the upgrade to Sierra?

  Sounds like you are trying use Keynote 09 to open a file created by Keynote 6.

  Keynote 09 cannot open files of version 6 because they are a different file format.

  If this is the case, buy and install Keynote 6 from the Mac App Store.

• How to find the key

  Is there a quick way to find the key of a song or instrumental that has been imported to the logic?

  No, you need a little music for this. I guess you could find it difficult to play with a keyboard and hear/guess the agreements/key?

  Here would be my suggestion for a workaround - if it is an entire song, as you indicate in your question:

  -To get agreements on a Web site

  -See if you can find the original version of keys (that would be easy, right?)

  - Then play these chords along your song imported. If they sound not right, transpose your up and down by steps MIDI track until it sounds right. -> Get your agreements and the key.

  If your song doesn't have agreements to seek, find parts of the song where you lift clear of bass notes (not too much battery), EQ everything, taking Tuner in pop in the track and see if you can pick up the dominant notes. That should lead you to your key of song.

• Boot Camp El Capitan Windows ISO USB key

  After update to Sierra my keyboard worked well for a while.  But at random, U I O P J K L keys stopped working.

  The bug only shows 1 profile. If I create another profile new profile keyboard works very well.

  Anyone know what that sometimes caused that and with the fix is?

  After reviewing your post, it seems that several keys do not work on a single profile. This looks like an option that may have been changed.  I recommend you to read this article, it may be able to help solve the problem.
  
  

  If the other keys do not work

  You may have accidentally set an option that changes your keyboard works.

  • Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click Accessibility, and then click keyboard. Make sure that slow keys is turned off. If slow keys is enabled, you will need to keep a key longer than usually before it is recognized.

  • Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click keyboard, and then click input methods. Select "Show the menu in the menu bar." Open the menu entry, then make sure that the correct keyboard layout is selected.

    To display the keyboard layout, click keyboard, and then choose "See the viewers for emoji keyboard symbols in the menu bar."

  I have an iMac of 2014 that was running Windows 7 with Bootcamp.

  I have upgraded to Windows 10 (using the upgrade option if windows) and everything was fine.

  After a power cut I can no longer start Windows 10 so I repaired the installation.  W10 is working now, BUT the special keys on the apple keyboard (brightness, volume, etc.) no longer work.

  I tried to re - download the software and drivers support for Win10 through Bootcamp Assistant, but he asks me if I want to delete the installation of Windows 7 (SEVEN Yes).

  Any ideas would be welcome.

  Download the driver appropriate for your model package specific to install Windows 7 and previous versions on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple support on a USB2 flash drive and run setup.exe from the Bootcamp folder when it is started in Windows.

  Try to create a new ssh key. I think Sierra includes updated logic crypto and he doesn't like really old keys.

  Congratulations on your new iMac! I see that your iMac on macOS Sierra is not allowing you to change your key options. Since I have been hit most of my adult life, is not able to use any key how I need you would slow me down.  I'll be happy to help you.

  Try safe mode if your Mac does not start -boot in safe mode is a great way to make sure that everything starts correctly.

  What is safe mode?

  Safe mode (sometimes called secure boot) is a way to start up your Mac so that it performs certain checks and prevents certain software from loading automatically or opening. From your Mac in safe mode does the following:

  • Check your startup disk and attempts to fix problems if necessary directory
  • Loads needed kernel extensions only
  • Prevents elements start and the login items open automatically
  • Disables the user installed fonts
  • Delete font caches, hiding the kernel and other files of the system cache

  Once your iMac starts up in safe mode, you should be able to define the keys on your keyboard as you want.
