  You must go back and uninstall all HP.

  Use http://www.iobit.com/en/advanceduninstaller.php .  Use a powerful scanner at the end and remove all registry entries.

  Now reinstall your new printer.

  I could not install the driver/software package downloaded for my HP Photosmart Plus B209 Printer on my new HP laptop w/Windows 8.1. I get an error message that the following file is missing; \AppData\Local\Temp\7zS4D84\Setup\hpzshlaut4.0... I have 3 other computers of the OS windows 7 that I had no problem with the printer using this same download driver/software package. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

  Follow the steps below and check if it solves the problem:

  1 open the Mcafee Virus and Spyware Protection software you are interested in, click on calendar and perform analyses. Click analysis in real time, and then click stop. Select until I restart the PC and confirm by clicking the button turn off.

  Now, try to reinstall the HP software and check if the installation goes as planned.

  If the problem persists, continue following the steps below:

  2. open the dialog box run by clicking on the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type %windir%, and then click OK.
  3. type hpoins*.dat in the search bar at top, if there is that no result rename the extention in old instead of dat. (e.g. hpoins1.old)
  4. type hpwins*.dat in the search bar at top, if there is that no result rename the extention in old instead of dat. (e.g. hpwins1.old)
  5. start the Run dialog box by clicking the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC /Unregister. in the Run dialog box and click OK.
  6. launch the Run dialog box by clicking the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC/REGSERVER in the Run dialog box and click OK.
  7. run the installation file and check all difference.

• Photosmart Plus B209 wireless connection not available

  I just got a new Photosmart Plus B209 because my old 4580 died. I had the old printer put in place for the wireless connection, but the new Photosmart told me that the network is unavailable. When I press help he told me to make sure that there is no connection and to check for interference. Well, there are none. Printer and router are almost side by side. I used the HP set up guide and he tells me that the network is not available (which it isn't because otherwise I wouldn't be able to write this online).

  I use a MacBook with a Timecapsule 10.5.8 and a cable modem D-link.

  Yes, the workaround is a bit tedious, but it works.  If you have another router (standard), we all connect to one and use WPS.

  In any case, let's try this:

  1. on the front of the printer: Setup > Wireless > default settings.

  2. on your look of computer for a wireless called "hpsetup".  Connect you to it.

  3. print a network Test Wireless in the menu of the wireless printer.  Get the IP address of the printer.

  4. type the IP address of the printer in the web browser address bar.  You should see the page in the printer settings.

  5. click on the network tab, and then start the wireless configuration wizard.  Follow the instructions.

  6. when the printer is connected to your wifi, re - connect your computer to your wifi and add the printer in system preferences > print & scan (click the sign '+' to add the printer).

  I have a Pavilion 17-g015dx I got windows 7 Professional OS installed instead of the OS 8.1. I just got a driver for the USB ports to work computer Forum mobile operating system.  Now that they are working, I tried to install the software for my (a - m) of Photosmart Plus B209. He said that the computer does not have the necessary software USB support and usb hardware support enabled to allow for the completion of the usb installs. Is there another driver I need to install that would allow the usb part finish loading?

  Let's try the following steps:

  (1) run the HP installation executable (i.e. PS_AIO_06_B209a-m_USW_Full_Win_WW_140_175 - 4.exe)
  2) click on the Windows Logo and type R on your keyboard keys, press and %Temp% OK.
  3) navigate to the extracted installation folder, it will be with 7z (i.e. 7zs1234)
  4) go into the subdirectory "Setup."
  (5) move, delete or rename the Intel USB System Check (usbready.exe) utility
  6) double-click the installation executable in the main extraction file (Setup.exe)

  Have you tried running the uninstaller built into the temp for the B209 folder?  Try the procedure described below.

  1. run the disk cleanup on your computer

  2. download and run the software and the drivers below.

  3. once the download is done retrieve, cancel the download.

  4. press on the Windows key + R on the keyboard to bring up the run menu.

  5. tap folder in the field to run, and then click OK.

  6. Locate and open the folder starting with 7z (example: 7zS2356)

  7 open the Util folder

  8 open the CCC folder

  9. run the L4.bat uninstall_ for computers not HP.  For HP computers, run the Uninstall_L3.bat

  10. once the uninstall is complete, restart the computer

  11. install an Accessories\ System Tools Disk Cleanup

  12. download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

  I'm trying to install HP Photosmart Plus B209 (a - m) through the CD.  In Windows 8, the start screen you asked to select 'Install', but offers only "Exit".

  I downloaded the software (PS_AIO_06_B209a-m_140_408) through HP.  At run time, it does not because of corrupted file extraction.  I downloaded 3 times.  The same problem.

  I tried to download the software from the HP printer installation wizard.  It gets halfway through and said the cancelled download.  I tried 3 times.

  Any suggestions?

  I can't find an option to print 5 x 7 photos using iPhoto on a MacBook Pro w/OS X Lion (10.7.2) on printer all-in-one HP B209, with driver version 3.5.2 HP.

  I tried to use the custom settings to designate a picture 5 x 7 manually, but I get a "Paper Size Mismatch" error and I realized to select an available option (for example, 4 x 6, 5 x 8, etc..).  I also checked the iPhoto and the displays system preferences to see if I can add option 5 x 7, but were unsuccessful.

  Otherwise the printer works fine for the paper and printing photos, especially of 4 x 6 size.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Devote the paper size drop.

  Select the size of paper of 2 L , you'll see the available 5 x 7 size.

  I was using a HP Photosmart Plus B209 printer for many years without any problems unsolved. I've recently had prints fuzzy and weak.

  I reinstalled the HP using HP software online. Now my Windows 7 computer cannot connect to the printer.

  The drivers do not reinstall. 2 supplement tries to install the drivers on the line failed.

  I think it's my problem now. Please advise me how to install the drivers.
