B3P19A: composition of ink

I would like to know the composition of the ink in the produts B3P19A / B3P20A / B3P21A / B3P22A / B3P23A / B3P24A page because:

http://h10010.www1.HP.com/wwpc/AA/en/Ho/WF17a/A1-12771-64199-69422-69422-5338287.html?DNR=2

have severed all ties.

All I really need to know these ink cartridges is if it is based on water or solvent.

Already, I looked on C9384A and found a really good content in:

http://www.HP.com/hpinfo/globalcitizenship/environment/productdata/PDF/ij_c9384a_pl_eng_v1.PDF

I would apreciate something like that... Thanks in advance

Hello

They are dye water based.

With the exception of the MK (B3P22A), it is pigment.

    Hello.

I have HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3525 e-all-in-one printer.

The printer stop printing in black.

    I am trying:

    1. put the new cartridge HP 655 black original .

    2. I do several head cleaning cycles.

    3. I gave for printer.

    4. I remove the cartridges, turn the printer off, swith on the power cable, wait for mo to 60 seconds and plug everything back.

    5. I clean the vents and the surface of the black cartridge.

    6. I do everything, what I see in the paper by HP - Printers - HP Deskjet 3520, color or black ink not print

And all of this does not help. My HP 3525 does not print black.

Moreover, if I print a test page for the printer, I see racks, which are printed in black!

At the same time, the black level is not printed!

    Please, help to repair!

    Hi @MobileWanted,

The printer is probably using composite black. A mixture of the color cartridges will create black.

The print head is probably clogged. This model has a permanent print head. Not one of HPs, my personal recommendation is to use the solution put forward in the next video.  I suggest you only do this if the printer is out of warranty: How to fix a HP printer, printing black ink not.

If the printer is still under warranty, please call for a replacement printer.

    Thank you!

  • Inks PGI-2 and PGI-9

Hello, I use a Pro9500 Mark II printer. Could someone tell me the difference between PGI-2 and PGI-9 inks please?

    Dear John,

Thank you very much for your answer. I think you're right. I'm in the Japan and I bought the printer used in the Japan and it's UI printer, and he installed the inks PGI-2. The manual also indicates inks PGI-2. When I searched in English for the Pro9500 online, I was reading pages PIXMA Pro9500, specifying the PGI-9. I had not noticed the difference in UI and PIXMA before today. Now, I know that I should stay with inks PGI-2. I can well imagine that I'm not sure they are the same composition PGI-9 inks, but with different chips.

  • HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 1515: prodlem print text with black letters

Hello. I have the Hp DeskJet Ink Advantage 1515 AIO for 3 months. In the last month, I have a problem with the color black. When I print the text with black letters that some lines are not printed, but if the same row is a different color than black, the line is printed correctly. What could be wrong? I installed the latest drivers and I run cleaning and second level cleaning. I send you some samples of prints (I printed that document several times with the same result). Thank you.

    Hello @geopap,

I saw your post about the problems you are having with your black cartridge and I might have some suggestions that you might try.

    1) are you using genuine HP ink cartridge? HP recommends that you use genuine HP cartridges. HP does not guarantee the quality or reliability of the ink cartridges not HP or full HP ink cartridges. If you don't use a genuine HP ink cartridges, the steps in this post could not solve the problem you experience. We could also see how supplies no HP compared to reloaded cartridges or reconstructed according to the buyers lab report.

I also see the limited warranty for cartridges HP ink and print heads replaceable by the customer of consumable inkjet HP.

    (2) you mentioned that you had this printer for 3 months - is always the original ink cartridge that came with it? Is is possible that the cartridge is empty, you have tried a new cartridge yet?

The following information is in this article; Using ink in ink jet printers - it addresses different aspects of using ink with HP printers.  Ink is used in a number of ways throughout the inkjet printing process. In general, ink in a cartridge of ink is used for printing of documents, photographs and these other materials. Some ink, however, must be used to maintain the health of the print head; little ink is residual; and little ink evaporates.

HP offers two models of General inkjet print head: integrated into the ink cartridge (integrated print head: HPI), and a long lasting printing head integrated to a printer that has individual ink cartridges (IIC).

There are several circumstances where color ink may be used mainly to improve the print quality and sometimes improve printer reliability, even if the document appears to be just black text-and-graphics. Many printers HP uses chemical interactions to improve the quality and permanence of the black paper text-and-graphics by adding a small amount of color ink in some black areas. A few dark images that have black air may contain a combination of inks, black and color. For photos and images in black and white, a mixture of colors called 'composite black' can be used to achieve the image quality greatly improved and more fluid gray tones that can be accomplished with only black ink. Some inkjet printers use black ink, Pigmented, which is incompatible with a bit of photo inkjet paper. In this case, the dark or black areas are composed of color inks. Page performance test is carried out with all the cartridges (black and color), installed in the printer. For more information, see inkjet by page .

    (3) you can also try the suggested steps:

Please let me know if any of these steps has resolved your problem, or if there is anything else I can do to help.

I look forward to hear from you!

    Thank you

  • Behavior very stange Photosmart B9180, prints with a huge amount of ink

Today, I have a huge problem (ink) with my photosmart B9180

I noticed that the prints come out almost dripping black ink. The ink flows paper and consists of all kinds of ink colors

I tried HP paper glossy advanced photo

When I select plain paper, (the best) it works OK

When choosing among other documents, the problem occurs.

I tried settings such as (printer / mac color management), (settings of photo paper / glossy, mast... etc)

I tried advanced options - volume of ink slider to the left

I have tried electric bike/off voltage

I tried to reinstall the printer with the HP website software

Then I made an A4 composition in photoshop all white with a colored bar little degraded in the middle (not to waste ink during the test)

The stange thing I noticed, is that the print head sweeps on all the white parts as well as printing something?

Can someone explain what is happening here?

I lost too much paper and ink...

    Hi all

the problem is caused by Apple update for HP Printer Drivers Version 2.7.

This isn't the only failure in this package. (I'm not sure if it's great to use this same update for Mac OS 10.6 and 10.7).

Of course to restore the folder 'hp' in/library/printers/to using Time Machine should solve the problem.

Clearer to solve the problem is to do following steps:

-Remove from the list of printers HP printers (System Preferences > print and fax (MacOS 10.6) / print and scan (Mac OS 10.7))

-Move the entire folder "hp" / Library/Printers/in trash

-Download and install HP drivers Update Version 2.6 from the following link:

    FTP://hppsu2_6:7iy * [email protected]/

    -Restart the Mac

-Add the printer in system preferences...

  • Use of ink

HP Officejet Pro 8500 first; A909N printer.

I want to configure my default printer, printing in color (where applicable), or black.

The option settings under "Print in Grey Scale ' are:

    -Off

    -High quality

    -Black ink only.

I was told that if I put it to my desired option, that black is made in color cartridges.

    Is this true?
How do I put it up to get the functionality I want without using color for black cartridges?

    Thank you

    JimNeely

    Hi JimNeely,

There is, as you pointed out, different to choose print settings.

Shades of gray high quality will use less cyan, magenta and yellow (CMY) printing mode normal, but will not be a drastic reduction. However, the only feature of black ink slightly reduced the use of the CMJ. This setting produces a composite black.

The feature of black ink only will limit the use of color for the amount that passes under the black ink to ensure an impression for a long time and the true-black tone that should.

More economical printing would quickly the project and black ink only.  Grayscale setting uses the color cartridge to print in grayscale, because it offers better quality.  The quality is better with shades of gray, but it uses more ink.

You will find information in the following article. Use of inkjet printers ink.

Here is a document on the color management settings.

I hope the information helps to resolve your request.

  • Ink cartridges: not only used for printing

Have you ever wondered why it seems that the levels of ink in the machine to go down even if you do not print pictures and very little text documents?  This is because the ink is used in many ways throughout the printing process. Some ink is used to prepare the printer to use and the printhead to avoid fouling of service.  Also the time that the printer is idle between jobs can affect ink that can be used for printing, and some evaporates over time.

In addition, some color ink is used when printing black text documents to improve the print quality by using what is called a composite black can be used to achieve the ostensibly improved picture quality and soft gray tones. • How can I edit HTML source in the composition?

I often compose emails that contain bulleted or numbered lists multi-level, images and other elements inserted. Sometimes, Thunderbird fails to go down to the correct list between paragraphs or breaks, or it crashes or removes the part of my message when inserting an image. I found workarounds, but it would be helpful to me if I could see the HTML code and manually change in composition, as I can with the received messages (view > Message Source). I have not yet found a way to do this.
Otherwise, I could compose the message in Dreamweaver and copy it into my e-mail, but I could create some tags that are not supported by Thunderbird.
Please suggest how I can edit the HTML code before sending my message.
    Thank you
    -Richard

A quick way is to select the body of the message (Ctrl-A to select all), then insert/HTML. Alternatively, use an add-on like EditHtml. As you suggest, copy html to an external editor is likely to cause problems.

  • Registration of composite clip - how?

Just getting started with FCP - X and have encountered a problem trying to save just one effect that I created (composite?) that uses several masks to remove the text.

OK, so I need to put this in order to duplicate and repeat and maybe use elsewhere.  How to save him?  I tried Control/R, but am unable to reproduce this short clip.  It's a windmill, and I want it turn for a while, so I need to have several clips with the mask, and I also want to use later as this clip.  I can't get it.  Heck!  (and help!)

I could easily do with former NLE - render just clicked and the file is there.

Used to be able to edit messages - where is this option?

In any case, since someone will ask a screenshot for the economy post composite clip I just posted, it's here.  The clip is highlighted in yellow and the masks are above, but how can I save the effect as a composite clip made?  The Help menu is without help
