B580 cooling fan problem

Hi, I have a problem with the laptop Lenovo B580. The problem lies in the continuous operation of the cooling system. After buying a week everything worked without problems, i.e. of cooling single turn on during a moment, and what to run 15-20 minutes on the first. But now it stil works on a second speed independently of the load (top speed jumps only when the charge reaches more than 90% for each of the hearts) and works within 2 seconds after the wake up the computer from sleep mode, as well as at the same time, after the departure. Temperature measured 1.0 RC4 CoreTemp program shows the temperature of 31 to 37 degrees for each of the nuclei at 0-10% load (a de facto to idle state) within a minute after the start. All of the drivers is installed and the Lenovo software, the profile of "energy saving" in the control panel. In general, the computer is cool box anywhere, but working in a quiet environment more long is sometimes tedious and boring. Running Windows 7 x 64 Home Premium. Computer bought December 8, 2012. BIoS is the latest 2012 September 6 should service or can I do something to fix this? Or is this model it is? (Sorry for my English, I hope you understand what I wrote)

Should the service or can I do something to fix this? Or is this model it is?

I mean when I started this morning, at the first moment it showed this error, and when it will stop automatically (it says, ENTER to continue starting or it will stop in 10 or 15 seconds) and then I start it again, but this time, no error started end

So guyz, I wanted to know whether hardware or software problem or something else

Still my warranty period which goes, so should I goto HP support center?

    I'm on HP Pavilion dv6

It is material but may be repairable before you send it. Bend over a paperclip and stick it through the grid to hold the fan and prevent it from running out of control and blow compressed air in the grid to dislodge any dirt or dust that can be hung up the fan. If it does not the fan may need to be replaced.

  • Qosmio G40 cooling fan problem

Hello everyone I bought international student G40. Nearlly got about half of the year.

I recentlly that are there is a problem with my G40, I usually wear my G40 in the library or at my place one friend, once I took G40 out of the bag and put on the desktop and turn on, the CPU fan appears nosiy.
It's kinda like the frame of the cooling fan is changed in movement, but it will be gone in a very short time, around 2 or 3 minutes.

AFAIK fan it's perfect job, just at the moment where I take it to another place and turn off and it appears as follows.

Anyone found this before, does anyone has idea what's going on with my G40?

Sorry, but I have never heard something like that. When you carry your laptop somewhere is the laptop turned off properly or maybe sleep/hibernation mode?

  • HP Notebook 2000 cooling fan problem

Good, everyone. I had my laptop HP 2000 for a few years and I discovered my first major problem a few days ago, when the cooling fan has stopped working. I don't really bother me too much because I have a USB powered cooling fan which depends on my laptop, and it does a good job. My laptop everything on the same average level.

The biggest problem that I have is a few hours, the laptop turns off automatically because of this.

So, when I boot it upwards (turn on), it is a reminder that the cooling fan is not working and I have to press 'enter' or the laptop goes off in 15 seconds.

How can I make the laptop does not take into account the fan broken cooling? I don't want to spend the money to fix it because I can count on the USB-powered device.

    Thank you!

    ~ Mark

No, you can't. It stops probably precisely because it is time cpu peak on the threshold of security sometimes so he stops down to avoid damage.

Cooling of hp systems are not the best when working so the thermal stress on the cpu, gpu & mainboard will be bad & failure happen very quickly.

Fan is very cheap and can be done YOURSELF, if you have some skills to the dismantling of these sorts of things & guides following order to hp service manual & other online.

I expect a new fan & new thermal paste & calibration and cleaning would do wonders for the execution of time & the laptop's long-term health.

  • Model HP 625 cooling fan problem

    Hello

I would like to ask questions about my cooling fan of my model HP 625. A few days ago, I noticed that my PC starts to overheat too with "Everest" monitoring program. It indicates that graphics cards ATI Radeon HD 4500 1 GB (what is intigrated in the motherboard) gose up to 83 C and the PC stops. After that, I noticed the cooling fan dosen't work, it starts on max speed, only when it reached the critical level of heat and stops / no error messages appear. "Tried to look in the BIOS, set up for fans cooling options, but there is only one option Always turn on the fan when the use of current alternative" and nothing else. Tried to use the "Fan speed" program which allows to adjust the speed of the fan on a different pace, according to what she monitors and cools but cela did not. The program find the cooling fan and he sets up on the desired speed, but no effect, it starts only when it reaches the critical level. Everything is correctly connected to the motherboard.

    Hi menester.

It seems to be a hardware malfunction with your fan and heatsink to the system of the computer. However try to update BIOS for your NB to www.hp.com and keep the NB under observation for a few hours, also make sure that ports of breakdown of your NB is clean and the NB is placed on a hard flat surface and then check if the problem is solved or not. If this is not so for sure it's a hardware problem so contact HP Technical Support and get the repaired NB.

  • For 90 b cooling fan problem

    HP Pavilion dv6-6119tx notebook PC

    Product number: QB365PA

    Hello

I get fan error that it is not working properly and are likely to damage my data and the cooling system.

Although when I continue starting, I hear the outgoing sound of cooling air fan and hot air, showing that the cooling fan works.  I showed it to the HP service center they cleaned the cooling fan, but still, I get the same error.
    Now what to do?

An error message is an error message. Even if the error is not there at startup does it throw an error once it heats up, tells me that there is a hardware problem. The fan needs to be replaced. There is no other solution. The fan has sensors inside that fall within a chip on the motherboard and we cannot change the fact that the data provided by the sensors are out of specification. I don't think that your machine is in immediate danger and you can continue to use it because the fan still works, but the question will continue to worsen.

  • Cooling fan problem

Hello when I start my laptop (which is a g6 Pavilion) gives me a message saying that the cooling fan is not working properly and your computer can do unpredictable things. So I started it up normally and don't not for long after that my norton pops up saying that google chrome is the high utilization of the processor, then my frames drop off as soon as this happens my computer gets really hot, then turns off. Now, whenever I start my computer it gives me this message please help.

I guess you have too much dust blocking the vents and the fan itself.

Make it difficult to turn, you mightwant or replacing the fan to clean it.

  • HP pavillion (don't know who): Hard reset - system cooling fan problem

When I turn on my laptop a message indicating that there is a problem with the cooling system etc., (90 b system fan) fan

I followed some instructions online include blowing through vents to try and remove any dust or dirt build up, the next time I turned on my laptop the message disappeared... However, it turned up which means that the problem is still there.

I went on hp techcenter Web site and he said to do a hard reset as the next step - I'm afraid that this will remove all my documents, music, pictures etc it goes?

In addition, will be a hard reset even fix the fan cooling or is something that must be taken in a store to fix properly, I don't want to mess with it and have it crash on me even more!

Would appreciate any advice or suggestions, thank you!

    Hi LCh1,

    Please try the following,

A Hard reset about a drain of power & does not affect your files.

Just unplug battery & adapter then press & hold it hold the button for 30 seconds & then tun turn it on with the power cord only.

This is the right way to do a Hard reset.

Also update the BIOS to make sure a little extra.

After all, if you have the same problem, contact HP Support by phone or chat if the asset guarantee.

Or buy the chassis fan & do replace it yourself or contact a local ASP

  • Satellite A215-S4757 - battery life and the problem of cooling fan

    Hello everyone,

I would like to ask a few questions abou my system: first, the cooling fan works in my view too often: almost without interruption, with brakes for 2-3 seconds. Is this normal?

I have my laptop since last August and I think that it shouldn't be a dust problem, because it is too 'young' for this and I do not live in an apartment "dusty"...

In any case, I think that the problem of "almost allways running fan" appeared about 2 months after I bought the laptop. I installed 'Speedfan' and I see 'HD0' temperature increases of 30deg remarks immediately after I have start the laptop, on 39deg after 1 hour.

But the most curious is that so called "Core" temperature oscillates from the beginning between 45deg and 52deg! The fan starts each time the core temperature rises to 50deg and stops when the temperature reached 45deg. This behavior is normal?

Is the normal temperature of 45-50deg? I use my laptop for browsing the Internet, emails, etc., no complex 3d games!

The second thing is that the battery life is (and has been since the beginning) not spectacular: it lasts max. 1.5 hours with wireless use on, but normal laptop (don't play not DVDs or something like that). Is this normal? If so, is it because of the amd processor turion 64 x 2?

Please help me with some tips / advice.

P.S. I bought my Toshiba as I was travelling to the US (NY).

    Thank you much in advance.

    Conrad

    > I would like to ask a few questions about my system: first, the cooling fan works in my view too often: almost without interruption, with brakes for 2-3 seconds. Is this normal?

I m an owner of a Satellite A210. It s similar to the A215. The A210 is a European model and the A215 belongs to the series of cell phones in the United States.
I noticed the same thing on my A210, and I think that's a normal s behavior.

    > But the most curious is that so called "Core" temperature oscillates from the beginning between 45deg and 52deg! The fan starts each time the core temperature rises to 50deg and stops when the temperature reached 45deg. This behavior is normal?
The 40-60deg CPU temperature is not unusual.
The temperature could affect up to 70-80degrees by practicing a game. So Don t worry about the temperature.
Cooling modules are controlled by the BIOS. Fan table is stored in the BIOS and it contains information about the limits of temperature and the use of cooling.
If a certain level of temperature has been reached the cooling module begins to spin with a certain speed.

Now, I would like to say a few words on the life of portable batteries
Generally the duration of battery life depends on the use of portable computers.
While playing games or watching movies the battery a lot faster.

In any case, your laptop is equipped with high performance devices and AFAIK Vista was preinstalled on this series. The two factors (high performance CPU and GPU devices) + Vista OS need a lot of battery power. Vista needs of more resources for laptop like Win XP, and so portable computers equipped with Vista operating system run more short on battery such as laptops pre-installed with Win XP.

Finally and above all he must know that there are different models more strong the battery with high * value of my would help run the notebook longer using the power of the battery.

Hope I could clarify this issue.

    Good bye

  • Problem cooling fan

Hello, I had the same problem as Luthfy: when I turned on my laptop, it says "the system has detected that a cooling fan does not work correctly. Continued operation is not recommended and can result in unpredictable behavior that may cause stop randomly, loss of data or damage the system as possible. The system stops for 15 seconds. To avoid closing and continue the operation, press enter now. »

And I did what you recommended here, HP notebook computers - system fan is not functioning. I have a few minutes however it worked, my Windows 7 opend and I could click on icons on my desktop, open the windows etc but after about 3 min, all freeze. But the fan was not too strong that it was during this first problem when I turned on my laptop and saw information that the cooling fan is not working properly.

Again, I've tried this HP notebook computers - system fan is not working properly and then I chose safe mode in which I could work without system freeze 'normally'.

Could you please give me information if the problem is infact associated with cooling fan, if I still have to work on my computer in safe mode. And if so that means I need to replace the fan altogether?

    Hello fares.

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that the fan is in trouble. If you have followed all of the documents you have provided, your cooling system probably has a hardware failure. I would contact HP support by phone to guide you in the right direction of how to replace the hardware.

You can use this Web site for information about how to contact HP properly, based on your region: Contact HP worldwide

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

  • problem with cooling fan

    I have HP pavilion DV3-2165ee

It has been working perfectly for more than 1 year

but now it gets very hot and I hear bad sound of cooling fan

especially when I run a game such as: conquer online

I see that "Alwayse" processor over 90% and VERY hot with the bad noise cooling fan comin!

which translates into hipernate due to heat

When I start the laptop again once I get a message me tellin it was hipernating was cause of overheating!

I tried to use the husbandman of the air for cleaning and tried to reinstall windows but the same thing!

could you please tell me how to fix this problem?

    waiting for HELP and thanks...

Here is a document with a few steps to help overheating the fan runs continuously. Looks like you have taken most of the steps in this document, however. One thing you can try is updated from the bios.

It may very well be a hardware problem. If you have had for more than a year, it is probably more under warranty. If it is still under warranty, call 1-800-HPINVENT (1-800-474-6836). If this isn't the case, you can take it to a computer repair provider close to have the fan replaced.

  • My HP laptop cooling fan does not work.

Okay, so. I have a HP Pavilion 1145sg g6. It worked fine all morning, and then I put sleep temporarily (about ten to twenty minutes). When I went to turn it on, the screen was black and he said something along the lines of

"the system has detected that a cooling fan does not work correctly. Suite operation is not recommended at this time... may result in unpredictable behavior that may result closed random, loss of data or damage the system as possible. »

Then after a few seconds it stops completely. There is an option to continue with the summary of the system and I clicked once on it, but she didn't go through completely for allowing me to use my laptop properly (I arrived at my wallpaper and it stopped).

This has never happened before, and I never had any problem with my laptop, like this before. I have had him since last August, and it worked pretty well through until today. Of course, the system sometimes, accused but nothing serious, for the most part just aggravating.

    How can I fix?

Someone said here that they stung the fan with a hairpin and it started working. I took a toothpick and switched my laptop and tried to move the fan and the fan started WALLA on! I noticed that a lot of dust in there and that's probably the culprit first event hough I keep this laptop clean every day, this darn dust is sneaky and small. If you use a toothpick, make sure not to break anything especially the toothpick. last thing you want to do is cause more harm. Now that I think I don't remember when the last fan worked and if it wasn't for the message that popped up today I would not of the same notice I wasn't to hear the fan because last week I said "wow is not the substance of this portable super hot feeling", but I just thought that my fiance was simply playing games on the computer for too long and that's why he was hot. He never closes the computer off smh. in any case, I'm very happy I read this post of a person using the PIN to hair. That's what forums are all about. Help each other. I hope it works for you. Be gentle, try pushing the way fan propellers in clockwise. Use a flashlight to see if dust or anything like that is by the way to allow the fan to run its on.  I blew in the vents, but it did have almost all of the dust of the road.  All of these messages, it seems this is a common problem. Good luck

  • Satellite L850 - 1 KG-cooling fan runs constantly

    Hello

I have the problem that runs constantly in my Nooteboom fan. How can I open the case and clean it?
    I have a Satellite L850 - 1 KG

    Thank you

I don't know how old is your laptop and if dust may be reason for constantly running cooling fan but try it please check first advanced power options. You will find the option for cooling method. Please, set it to optimized battery. This should reduce the activity of fan cooling.

I also hope you use laptop on the desk and fan/cooling grill is free.

By the way: do you use original with the original display driver Toshiba recovery image?

My Tecra M11 laptop is running Windows7 and with a broadband dongle Telstra wireless internet lights up and works normally for a period of time.

Sudennly it freezes completely and 5 seconds later the cooling fan starts to run until I power off using the power button.
    Clues?
    Thank you

You must understand that on this virtual path, it is not easy to say what the problem is here.
I can imagine that some background process starts and increase the use of the CPU at the critical level when the motherboard sensors register at higher temperature of the processor and cooling fan starts to run fast enough.

Try to check in the Task Manager, if something like that happen.

I put t know how you have configured your operating system and to applications that run in the background, but also to try to stop treatments that you don't need and change some settings.
