backflip unlock! emergency!

Hello

I just got my backflip, and I will travel on Thursday, so I think that ATT would give me an unlock code. When I call, they say that they cannot give me because my phone its just a week. I looked on google and try to unlock it via a Web page, but not could not find a trusted site.

Is anyone know there is still a chance to get the code to unlock for att or knows a trusted site that I could buy the unlock code of.

Thank you very much!!

Kelsey

at & t gave me the unlock code. However, they have a rule where you need to be their client more then 60 days (the actual number may have changed). So if you just signed up for a contract with them, you may not be able to get the code directly from them. If you are a customer for more than 60 days, I remember and explain who intended to travel and I wanted to use the phone with a local sim card (which is in fact exactly what I told them). As a matter of fact, my phone was about a week, when I did it.

  • SIM card disabled... Need to unlock Code - or do I need a new SIM card?

Hi - I was a fool to check my phone late into the night Friday and checked settings-> location & security and went down all the way to lock SIM card. My phone is running the last updated Android for this model of Motorola MB300 BackFlip MotoBlur, I guess it's Android 2.1?

I went to the where it says set up SIM card lock.

I went to the where it says card SIM Lock (require PIN using the phone) and he asked for a PIN and I entered my own PIN and then I thought asked that my re - enter to confirm the new PIN code and then it was locked. I couldn't turn the lock, and I got on the screen when he timed out where he said I had the possibility of a PUK code. I don't know what it was, but I entered my code I thought that I did, and then he asked for me to create a new code, which I did, and then he asked me to re - enter the code to confirm. I did, and every time it says INVALID CODE ENTRY or something. So I tried other things. I tried to guess what the PUK code. I sent my parents at this stage because he said I could get the PUK code in caller Service customer. But I do not have to restart my phone and dial a number. I tried to keep guessing. Finally, he said that SIM card has been DISABLED. And now I can only make emergency calls.

I found somewhere on the Internet that will give the unlock codes for a SIM card if you have the IMEI number of the phone that I have, and the model. I entered the model and IMEI number to see if they had paid him to the record, which they said to do it before the "order"... which I was suspicious. They found my unlock the number, they said, for what I entered. Simply, they want my name, address, etc. and will allow me to pay using credit or debit via Paypal. It costs $ 7.99 for the code.

I'm not really happy to spend $8 that I can get for free if I go to a local store of AT & T with the technicians and technical help, that will do it for Hello, FREE?, because I pay 5 $par month on phone, insurance which now on this P.O.S. phone, had to be said for her many times... but I secretly want to take in the closest CENTRE of DEVICE OF SUPPORT , I have a recommendation to go form (but that one is a 2.5 hours a one-way ticket on public transport, unfortunately, compared to only an hour or two in a store of tech to give me a new SIM card) and see if I can get this BackFlip swapped for a SideFlip while I'm.

    • What is the chances of that? Just whine enough about the BackFlip even get a SideFlip? The SideFlip is done? To compensate for the BackFlip? (^_*)?
    • Anyone know how to unlock the SIM card once it has been disabled? Or people with reduced mobility means NEVER usable for the rest of its useful life? That's all I need to know now. Mainly.
    • And on the other hand, in passing, if someone got lucky by swapping this out for a SideFlip mofone and what their thoughts were the Motorola SideFlip vs the BackFlip with respect to memory and the Android operating system and version MotoBlue... etc. The usual. Comparisons?

The tech store I use mainly is closed on Sundays (to get a new SIM card), so I can't go today after all. To remedy this, I hope to get a response on this forum. Please post anything you know that might help me for FREE get this MOFONE FIXED and SIM re-activated or reactivated. And it's too late in the day to get to the CENTER of SUPPORT of DEVICE. So boo hoo. I'm screwed. I would like to have a car and not a nice bike respectful of the environment.

PS - I've READ online THAT THE PUK FOR THIS PHONE IS ALWAYS 1111, but I think they were referring to the device of MiFi who came, not the BackFlip MB300... so I don't know if the PUK Code is universally 1111 or what, but it does NOT work. What could be? Is - this own to my phone and the IMEI number? Thank you!!!

If the SIM card is deactivated so your best bet is to get a new one. AT & T gives them for free, but there is not many other v e can do. Blocking of SIM cards is a security feature to protect your account as a sim card is linked to a phone number.

Other unlocks forsale are online for carrier unlocks - unlocking a phone to use with another carrier. The unlock code requiring an IMEI unlock for another carrier - it won't help with SIM disabled.

If you could easily unblock a SIM card, anyone could steal your phone and break the SIM lock. As far as I know, once the SIM card is disabled, you must a new.

But the good news is that AT & T gives free new.

  • Slide to unlock removal could be deadly

A few days while the comings and goings, an impressive looking sports car whizzed past me. I tried to take a quick picture of it on my iPhone, but because it happened so fast I got a little confused and forgot that slide to unlock no longer works and don't slide up to start the camera. Subsequently, I've missed because my mind didn't work fast enough under pressure.

And I was wondering... What happens if the same thing were to happen in more serious circumstances? For example, a woman can be followed and need to call for emergency assistance. It cannot be thought in a panic and right forget how to use the phone properly to make that crucial call. Who knows what might happen?

I know this example is a little extreme, but it serves a point that Apple remove something that is ingrained in our brains for reasons of change could be dangerous. Remove slide it to only unlock the device serves no end! Maybe they could give us a choice in the operating system of dragging or by pressing the home button? I like Apple products, but I hate how they sometimes change things that do not need fixing.

    Thanks for reading.

The great thing about human brains is their ability to adapt to change. You will find that you will adapt to the new system, just as you learned to swipe to unlock when you've got an iPhone.

Do you mean that only women should always call emergency? Or that only women are not well under pressure and would be so confusing them would not be able to make a call?

Note: you don't have to unlock the phone to make an emergency call.

I did not use swipe to unlock since TouchID has been implemented. Contact ID was always faster.

  • Contact information of accessible emergency since iOS 10 lock screen?

First responders can access emergency on my iPhone contact information if I am not aware to unlock?

    Hi, wtimberman!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. After reading your post, I understand that you are wanting to know how your emergency information can be found if you are not able to unlock the iPhone. Knowing that someone else would be able to get important medical information and emergency contact on you are certainly a reassuring element of iOS, and I'd be happy to help you!

The customer article below implemented Medical ID, and how this information is available, even if you are not able to pull yourself up.

Set up your medical ID in health app on your iPhone

Article, here's how your information is accessible after you have your medical ID set up:

Make an emergency call and access Medical ID

If an iPhone has a medical ID, you can view medical information of emergency on the device or make an emergency call. To view the Medical ID, open the health app tap Medical ID. If the iPhone is locked, follow these steps:

    1. Press the Home button.
    2. Emergency valve.
    3. On the emergency call screen, you can make a call or tap Medical ID to display medical information of emergency stored on the device.

    Have a great day!

  • How to unlock iphone

IPhone bought to sell any book or information on iPhone screen before it will slide and unlock the next lock screen you can push emergency and go to keyboard, then you can't know more about you

Hi Sherry, if the previous owner has put a code to unlock your iPhone, you need to get this code from the seller.

Or to set the phone from scratch, please see this article on the Apple website: If you have forgotten the password for your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple supports.

As your question is not on a product Mozilla, at least not yet, you probably will find more detailed help on the Web site and/or the forums of Apple:

  • ICE (in case of emergency)

Many organizations such as the Red Cross and the Police asked each person to include in its list of contacts of contacts ICE (In Case of Emergency) to be used in case of accidents and emergency situations. On the other hand, most of the people keep their iPhones locked by a password, so that even if the iphone were found in case of accident, ice contacts cannot be known.

I suggest that a new icon "ICE" will be introduced into the operating system. This icon will be used to enter ice contact numbers, and these numbers will appear on the first screen which appears "slide to unlock". This allows the assistance in case of accidents to retrieve these numbers easily and communicate with anyone the iphone owner assigns.

You can tell Apple directly on the link below.

  • SOS emergency app

    Hello

I'm looking for an emergency sos app for my iphone, which allows you to access it and alert help by pressing the power button. (Edge of Samsung Galaxy has a built) All applications that I found, will leave you only access it by going to your applications. At the time wherever you did, it could be too late! Any suggestions?

    Thank you very much

I do not think that you will be able to find one. There is no way that a third-party application could change the function of the power button on this way.

You don't have to unlock the phone to make an emergency call. There is an emergency button on the lock screen.

  • Backflip: no data on Bell Canada to all please doesn't help?

Hello! I just got my backflip via eBay - first very new smartphone, so please help! I unlocked it received a SIM from Bell (to Canada), activated, directs a data plan and they tell me that it's working. They also told me that the backflip fulfilled all conditions for their network. I can use it for phone, text, email and web via wifi without problem, but it does not seem be any data at all! I've never seen a flag State G, Edge, or 3G. I tried to turn wifi off and turning phone off & on. Under order settings, wireless, mobile networks, the operator, research networks selection it will show BELL four times as available networks. If I click on that it shows "Network with Limited Service found. You want to start the search network? "If I say yes or no, I get no results. I tried on several days in different areas with the same result. Can anyone help? Thank you. If I call Bell, they say just that it's not their phone so that they are not responsible.

Choice of operator must be set to automatic. You need to make sure that you have the settings correct data under the APN (Access Point name) settings. Bell will have a certain domian, password, etc., which they use to access the data. When you talk to them just tell them you have their APN settings.

  • I have a Backflip on AT & T, if I get a cliq and use it on AT & T will be it work well?

Yes, I'm upset that I'm on my 3rd backflip in 2 months and theres no root or updated 2.1, but I'm especially angry that I can't install applications walked outside without sdk. Running on the software abandonded 1.5 don't give me much choice of app even with the SDK, I get the SDK "older" alarm. I am sure that many of you are not on your first Backflip no more and know that even if you install apps 2 sd or something like that, your phone rest blocks the installation of sd card application even if they are applications of the market. On a phone that is severely lacking in the memory, as it is and the fact that the person who can make a difference is by rooting for us because they don't care. I'm wondering if I buy a cliq from T-Mobile and jailbreak, can I use it on the AT & T network? If so, will I even when 3g? Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

    @Terry001,.

Yes, you will be able to use the cliq on at & t network (as long as it is unlocked), you will not have the 3G as at & t and T-mobile use incompatible 3 G bands.

  • Disable "call unlock" function blackBerry 10?

I have a big problem with my Q5 BlackBerry slide-to-open function. The feature I'm talking about is one that allows you to unlock the phone by sliding to the bottom of the screen, while screen is off. On paper it sounds like a great thing, but in reality, it's one of those features that makes me regret buying a device BB10.

The problem is that the display has such high tactility that it records the touch events through the tissue of the Pocket. I have more than once been calling people from my pocket and took hundreds of pictures of the inside of my pocket, without knowing it.

I can't find a way to disable this feature, maybe you know some hack that makes it possible? I am seriously considering to buy another camera.

Sorry to bother you. I found a thread in forum someone with the same problem. The solution already exists in settings > display > blow to wake up.

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/BlackBerry-10-OS-device-software/unconscious-emergency-call/t...

In any case, it's still a pretty bad feature, but at least now I can turn it off. Bravo BlackBerry!
