Please tell me how to set background image to a screen in 4.2.0 versions. Now we have class background. But for older versions of the program. How can do us?

Background images shows not not in IE and Firefox

I wonder if someone could help me because I am very confused. I've conditioned agains images the "header" Div and the 'mainContent' Div background, they show in the Safari browser, but not in Ie or Firefox and I can't understand why. Can you please help.

Center the div in parent div Background Image and not the whole page

I am trying to Center a background image, I have inserted as create a div via the new css rule and will have questions centering correctly on the page. I would it is centered at the top of the page contet - left area of the page content, and it seems that the background image is ignorant parent his div and is centering the page-level. It's a problem because its parent div that 2/3 of the page, therefore covers, in question background image is cropped.
I did a video showing the problem here, because I'm not sure I use the right words to describe the problem

In other words, I insert a div tag and add a background image so that I can place the content above it, however, the background image seems to be centered in the entire page and not simply within the Division 'parent' in design mode, everything is centered, however, in direct mode, the background image is offset. I can't really explain for good so I made another video.
Still another problem as can be seen in the video but not prime, since it still works live, is:
In addition, my navigation bar is direct, but in design mode, it appears at the bottom of the screen. I did fix the position, then he stuck on the right side, so I added a margin of 700px to go right once again, I guess that the problem is due to this.
I have boldened which, in my view, are source code target areas and css to quickly reduce down, but everything included because I am not knowledgeable enough to know what is relevant or not, I could (and likely) wrong.
Any other help would be greatly appreciated.

I figured out how do. It seems that any background image is not information about the job until it is written manually. This line seems to do the trick.

I'm having a problem of downloading an image personalized to a MX200 TC6.1.1 running. I have a pc with access to this MX200, but the browser is not compatible, so I'm unable to download the image custom through the web interface. I'm looking for the file where I can transfer the file png via winscp and then run a command via SSH to use the custom image. I found a site that has the background images, but it is read-only and I do not think it is the right one. Any help is appreciated.

I have not and MX200, but I checked on my EX60, wallpaper, I just downloaded is located in:

posters/user /.

Can I have different screen on two monitors background images?

I use two monitors side-by-side.

There is a supply virtually unlimited background images to display, including the pre-made themes and slideshows, but no way I can find to have different images on each monitor.

Am I missing something?

Windows 7 doesn't have this built-in capability. There are third-party software multi-screen solutions.

I also use two monitors and I think a better ioption is to use two screens wallpaper. It is an image large enough to cover both monitors. For example, I have two monitors set in 1680 x 1050 and I use a screen background image which is 3360 x 1050 and set the tile option. It's a cool effect.

There are a lot of websites that offer these dual monitor wallpapers. Just use your favorite search engine and look for "wallpaper bi-ecrans".

Hi, we create an educational application on the dangers of trafficking in human beings human. (I start only with this bit of info I've added screenshots and wanted to be clear about our intention to applications)
I placed a background image on the pages to browse and left my article invisible cards. The issue I'm having is that the background image is not 'seat' correctly until I have started an article and go back to the page go. I can see it move from a lower position and align on where I plan, he should have. The image is for a horizontal layout of the iPad, and I exported it in 2048 x 1536 to 72 dpi.
Any ideas how I can solve this problem?

I have this struck yesterday and worked out a temporary solution, below.

Finally, it is a bug and the engineering on this subject. Challenge ahead (not in next week...)

I found that this bug occurs on the iPad, but not the iPhone. I have no test for it on other platforms.

My fixed (which is temporary and won't be necessary in the future and your problem should be considered in the future after bug fix):

Make your background image taller 140 pixels (size of the retina) and divide the extra space between the top and the bottom of your design.

So 70 extra pixels at the top, inside 70px.

Place your design centered in this space. any content found in these buffers of 70px will not appear.

Did I mention that it is a temporary workaround solution?

MUSE - bearings change the background image

I want to create button 4 (thumbnails) which, when you flipping them, changes the page's background image (background images are different for thumbnails). And when you rollover a different thumbnail, background image fades into a different image (again, it is different thumbnail).
Does anyone know how to get there? At the end of the day, I join the background image to scroll to a different pace for thumbnails.

You can use compositions for this where the triggers can be equipped with image for different States and target container should be large enough to cover the area of the page, so that when the tile is flat so this specific target will appear page so substantive change.

This can be done relatively easily, but it's not very pretty. You will need to use a full great for the background image, unless you plan to repeat, and then assign the clickable containing exactly this size. See code and screenshot below. Tested in FF, Chrome and IE9.

The table cell background image problem-
I'm sure it's something super simple, but I can't see what it is. I'm working in Dreamweaver CS3, but having to modify the code by hand, because the code is not validated I fight to clean up the last error on this page before applying the model it is based on the rest of my site...

You seem to be sensational. The CSS validator is another object of value
tool: http://jigsaw.w3.org . I suspect this first error to main.css is
the incorrect syntax used here:

background-image: {"url... / Images/CellBG1sm.jpg";}

Go ahead and remove this rule completely.

Background image for BEEP "certificate".
Hey there,
IM new to BEEP, I ususally more hiding in the side OBIEE.

Im trying to create a kind of 'certificate' of the report to the PIF, I work to a certain extent, here's what I did:

pull into the "skeleton" of the certificate image as background picture in MS Word, draw the data fields in the locations name, date and Manager BEEP on the certificate etc.. Repetition group is defined for each line, I get a certificate by user - perfect!

except...

the background image looks fine in Word, when you view the page to 100% in "Page view" but the PDF has aligned the image differently for the location of the fields that draw in Word is not reflected in the PDF file.
I should add that the background image should cover 100% of the page.

Is there an optimal size for an A4 background? I know paper sizes are not measured in pixels, but the generation of PDF using a pre-defined DPI that I can work from? Someone else has probs aligning a background image?
Bit stuck, I thought it would be the easy bit :-)

I just had a quick glance at your model, I guess my default desktop settings are different, so the output was pretty badly misaligned.

However, before I continue, I was wondering if you checked the other two options that I may consider viable options.

(1) use of stationery pre-printed, it works on printing cheaper volumes, under the commercial name, is cheaper than using your printer toner / cartridge, especially if you are going to have a purple background of page colur!... one of the invoice templates that I created for a client in the past was done on the pre printed stationery all the stuff color was printed on the pages, BEEP only added black text inside.

(2) the use of Microsoft word art, etc to design the model, i.e. rather than putting this all as a background image you could place the logo and do the rest with mocrosoft word art

I've seen a lot of sites with greater than 1 background images. How can I do with Dreamweaver CS3?
I am very curious, and I need to know how to do this. I am a newbie. Please don't give me horrible instructions. If you could please just give me a link to a tutorial or it's very simple, just tell me how to do it =]
If you use CSS to style your web pages, you can have a different background
image in each of the Divisions of your CSS. For example, you can use a
background image in the body of your page and repeat the image horizontally
and vertically. You can then use another background image on your page
#content area and the other in your #Footer yet.

How to end a background Image
OK, my site is HERE. Now, when I added the background image to give 3D effect, it makes the bottom go all the way to the browser rather than put an end to the DIV where the bits of text and just have the background color present. It is quite difficult for me to explain it, but you can see on the homepage, I want the image of background at the end where the line for the bottom of the DIV is. I looked for ways to do this, but I did not find anything either so I ask your help.

If anyone knows an easy way to keep the 3D effect without complete the rest of the browser of the image (color background just would be nice), please let me know, I would really appreciate it. In addition, if it is not possible, please post it here so I can give up hope.
If the div in question is what has the background image, then the image will be
end where the div ends. You have applied the background image for the body
Tag, however, and that's why he tiles all the way until the end of the body tag.
There is no way to make this background image knows that it should

The solution would be to use an outer div tag that wraps your interior
content, but which has no assigned width so that it fills the browser

Hide or crop part of the background image

I am currently studying in master suite CS4. In InDesign, my background image is bigger than my canvas size (more bleeding). How to hide or reframe the portions of the image that go outside of the canvas size? I know it must be simple, but I'm just not see it.

Do you mean bigger than the page? Or pasteboard? If this is the page, just use the black arrow to move one edge of the worms inside the frame. The content will still be there, but the part of it will be hidden. If it is larger than the editing table that I don't know, because I assume that you will not see the handles. Harvest before placing them?
