  You can not pass several VM arguments in a single command. It must be only 1 VM. In your case, by looking at the settings, I guess that you pass the name of the virtual machine and no ip address. If you give - an ipaddr to be ip address of the target VM to back up. Else to move the VM name, it must be - a name: vm - name.

  Still, you can't spend several VM in a single order VCBMounter names. To run the backup for several virtual machines you should run several instances of the command line with the corresponding target VMs name / ip address. I hope this helps.

  If your database to 9i and above, then you don't need to pass - sql 'alter system archive log current;' before you perform the backup as RMAN automatically archives the log during recovery.

  I did a full install on the new hard drive and then did a restore of the backup file.  now I have to sets of files in one set of documents and settings (new) with the names of the Moose and 1 with the name of name.windows and original.computer.  It's using the new files how can get it back to old files and settings?

  I replaced a hard drive Backed up first install windows on the new drive, then a restore.  I've tried a few sofrtware programs and they work correctly.  Also, what is the best way to change hardrives and keep the original files and settings
