Bad image after taking a picture

Occasionally when taking pictures, the result is a psychedelic or similar to a negative image. How can I fix it or I would return my camera to another?

tlshoaf72,

Do you have an example of image that you can download for us to see?  If so, please download it so we can see exactly what it looks like.  This will help us determine what may be causing this or if there is something wrong with the camera.

Your goal may be scratched, I see some areas in the photos looked too soft even for the enormous level of ISO applied. Try to inspect your lens under direct and bright light. Even the scratches can be fatal and you need to change the back cover.

Second, you must learn how to work with camera in such conditions, even though the camera Sony algoriham a poor for Torch light suspension, such as LG and a few others have also. You should then try manual mode, ISO 200 or 400 max limit or set the scene mode.

  • Canon t5i lcd turns off after taking pictures

I just got my Canon T5i... I noticed that the LCD screen turns off sometimes after taking photos or videos. I don't know why... I did not press the "info" button and it will not turn back even if I press the shutter button to halfway... I know that the camera is still on though because if I press on the screen it will take a picture and this picture is stored on the card (after that I turned off the camera completely and wait a few minutes and turn it back on)...

When the LCD is turned off, I can't get it on... I will touch the screen and try to press the display button to see photos, but it will start...

and Yes, I disabled the auto lcd off etc...

Here is a little video I made sure to show you what I saw. http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=TroZa5xLduM

Should I have a defective camera?

I noticed in the video that she has Lieview, take a picture and then the picture does not appear, and there is more no Liveview display.  She then press the Liveview button and nothing happens. There's no other option I can think of that allows you to turn off the LCD screen back when you're in Liveview. That tells me that the device is defective.

    Download ESET Removal tool

Burn it to a CD or create a USB bootable thumb with her:

    http://www.eset.com/us/download/utilities/

ESET are Live is a live Linux distribution which can scan malware and clean infected files. It runs from a CD/DVD or a USB device, regardless of the host operating system, but has a direct access to the system disks and files. This will eliminate the threats which, under normal conditions, can be impossible to remove.

Download and create your ESET are Live drive

You can also try to do a system restore before you start experiencing this problem:

There are some that will hide your files/folders so that you don't normally see them. I strongly suggest to run a scan on your computer with your antivirus/antimalware software. If you need to, you can also use the Microsoft Safety Scanner, it's free:

Also, if your files are hidden, check out the following article on how to display the:

  • Bad Image error - igdumdim32.dll

Igdumdim32.dll somehow got on my Windows 7 system. From what I can find, it is a dll for Windows 8. Get the error message: "C:\windows\system32\igdumdim32.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error...". "Very irritating and does not disrupt some features. What should I do?

Let me describe the problem as completely as possible.

Reads the 'error' message: "C:\Windows\system32\igdumdim32.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try to install the program by using the original installation media or contact your system administrator... »

The "error" message occurs repeatedly. It occurs when I try to open a video on Foxfire. It's entitled"FlashPlayerPlugin_15_0_0_223.exe - Bad Image. "When I click OK, the message reappears. It appears 3 times in total and after I clicked OK whenever the video runs correctly, but it won't go full screen. This does not happen with Internet Explorer. The same message occurs when opening certain programs such as: Quicken (titled qw.exe - bad Image), QuickTime Player (titled QuickTimePlayer.exe - bad Image), Garmin Express (titled Express.exe - bad image) and others. In all cases the message come up 3 times and once I clicked OK for everything the program runs normally.

I tried to find igdumdim32 in windows\system32, but he's not here. There's an igdumdim64 it. However, I found in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\5.inf_a...etc. It is also in C:\Windows\SysWOW64.

Just in case someone else looking at this, I finally corrected this problem.  If you're reading this, it probably means that you have the same problem.  There are dozens of this error of 'Bad Image' messages in this forum and in the Microsoft forum.

I think that 'Image' is the idea here, but it took me a long time to understand that.

By a very winding road, I finished on the Intel support site (a friend suggested this).  Here, you can download a utility to update the drive, I did.  When he was executed, he informed me that he thought that I have a graphics driver of custom provider and (thank you), I would be cautious about downloading a new driver on their part.  That is why I did not.  However, that me indicated that there could be a graphic driver problem.

Then I remembered that during my many and varied travels through the internet read something on a "Recovery Manager" that HP installs in the product (once again, thank you very much).  HP customer care has to a set of instructions on how to use the tool on their website: (using Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 7).

I ran the Manager and I replaced the drive of Intel graphics.  Problem solved.

I hope this can be useful to others.

    Hello

You did changes to the computer before the show?

Method 1: A clean boot allows you to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

    Reference:

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310353

Method 2: Sometimes rundll32.exe might be a form of the virus. I suggest you make a system full scan just to be sure.

, Note 1: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Note 2: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Here is a link that will give you information on how to perform a full scan of the system:

  • Rstrui.exe - bad Image of the application or DLL C:\Windows\System32\Wbem\Framedyn.dll is not a valid windows image. AND the exe task manager. -Bad guess. The application or DLL C:\Windows\System32\VDMDBG. DLL is not a valid windows image.

I use WIndows XP.  After that THINKPOINT is presented on my system, I have not been able to access my task manager or restore my system to an earlier date.

I have checked Kellys Korner and various other suggestions on the internet, but have had no luck with anything.

It shows that the HKEY value for the Task Manager is set to 0.  Don't know if that helps.

    Think like a malicious software...
It infects your system and is not to be found and removed.
What are you most likely to use to find and remove malware?
Internet, Google, Task Manager, regedit, restore the system command prompt, etc...
The malware is often afflicts one or more of these components to try to trick into thinking you need to perform a system restore, a repair facility, or even to reinstall your XP from scratch.  None of these things are necessary since you can usually just to thwart malware.
If the referenced files are completely absent from your system, you will see messages like this when you try to run the applications:
Taskmgr.exe - Unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because VDMDBG.dll is not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Rstrui.exe - Unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because framedyn.dll was not found.  Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Sometimes you can click through the OK messages to access the System Restore screen, but the restoration of the system is still broken.
If the referenced files are present on the system, but somehow corrupted, you will see messages like this when you try to run the applications:
    Taskmgr.exe - bad Image
The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\VDMDBG.dll is not a valid Windows image.  Please check this against your installation diskette.
    Rstrui.exe - bad Image
The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\framedyn.dll is not a valid Windows image.  Please check this against your installation diskette.
Sometimes you can click through the OK messages to access the System Restore screen, but the restoration of the system is still broken.
These files are part of the file 3498 who cares about Windows File Protection, so unless the WFP is also broken it is likely that files are missing completely (you get a different error message).  What is more likely is that the files are somehow corrupt or have been replaced by incorrect files.
Assuming that XP is installed on your C drive and in the windows folder, XP keeps copies of 3498 files that he cares about this issue:
    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
On a health care system, Windows File Protection keeps track of 3498 protected files and quickly and quietly replaces all the files in the list that appears missing from the backup folder.  File protection Windows will not replace the files if they are somehow corrupted or replaced by bad files.
You can simply copy the backup files in the dllcache folder in the folder where are the suspects or missing files.
Using Explorer, navigate to the folder c:\windows\system32\dllcache and individually to copy the backup files in there and then navigate the folders where the suspect or incorrect files are and paste in the copied files.
Depending on your installation, you can also find copies of the files in this folder:
    c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386
Answer Yes, if you are prompted to replace existing files.
Test your functions now and then to reboot your system to make sure the changes 'stick', and then fix any problems.

Do, or do not. There is no test.

I need YOUR voice and the points for helpful answers and propose responses. I'm saving for a pony!

At the start this morning, I received the message following "services.exe - bad image" and "the application or the DLL...\ShimEng.dll is not a valid Windows image. Is there a simple solution to this problem? If it is ok, the unit freezes then

    Hello

    1. you remember to make changes to your computer, after which the issue started?

I would recommend that you follow these steps and check if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

I would recommend that you run a full scan using theMicrosoft Safety Scanner and check if the problem is related to malicious software.

Note: You may lose data while eliminating malware.

    Step 2:

Test the issue in a clean bootand verify if the issue.

Note: Follow step 7 to your computer as usual.

    Step 3:

Make SFC scan and check if the problem persists.
