• Batch editing objects in Acrobat Pro ms (Mac)

  Is it possible batch edit a text object that is repeated in a document using object editing commands? Thank you.

  As I said, this is not possible with Adobe Acrobat - at least not without help. The Enfocus PitStop plug-ins for Acrobat (it's a 3rd party product) can make some changes in batches, and he may be able to remove the watermark - as long as you can describe (in terms of PitStop) how the watermark can be identified.

• Bug in timestamp LR CC 2015 batch edition

  I use LR CC 2015 on an iMac 27 "retina and when I try to batch edit timestamps, it does not update the timestamp of the first selected picture. Here the steps to reproduce:

  (1) select 2 or more photos

  (2) under the terms of metadata, click on the button to the right of the Capture time

  (3) in the Edit Capture time dialog box, select the radio "defined Shift by a number of hours (time zone setting).

  4) click the drop right out of the box of the new time and select-19 hours as lag.

  (5) click on edit

  Expected behavior:

  All photos selected in step 1 should have their timestamps-19 hours

  Actual behavior:

  Only the first picture in the selected in set 1 step has its adjusted timestamp.

  Turn AutoSync.

  Click the button next to the sync button

  

• Batch edits possible in LR3?

  In ACR I can batch of similar files together but LR3 I don't see where I can choose several files and their batch together for editing.  Is there a way to do this?

  While in develop, select all the images you want to apply the chosen one becomes, apply changes to one of these images, then select synchronization... a dialog will appear from which you can select what changes to apply.

  I have pdf files (about 1000) and all of them have several files. Is it possible using Acrobat DC (grammatically or using a function or tool) I can change everything in batch to have an image at the bottom of each page?

  The same image on each page in each file? If so, you can use the command Add watermark in an action brought in Acrobat Pro to achieve this.

• Batch edition do not apply any changes, what happens?

  I have a problem for years, but only decided to ask for help now.

  Usually I would import all my photos (smart preview convert) then...

  (1) select all (usually from 500 to 1500 images)

  2) press AUTO adjustment

  (3) and then adjust the exposure 0

  4) wait for the settings to be applied

  I do this because usually everything works fine except except automatic exposure, I want to take care of that myself.

  I find that not every image will show set to 0, there will be lots where exposure is not resetting.

  The same goes for any other adjustment of the lot, I can select all and change say points, contrast, black or white, but the changes

  not apply to all images.

  What I am doing wrong?

  Hi rueyloonRufus,

  It is hard to say based on your description exactly what might happen. However, I can offer some tips to help just shoot and maybe to get to the bottom of this. (According to me), I would like to start with the premise that you not actually select all images in the folder (for various reasons).

  1 make sure you are in a view of the folders (under 'files' in the left pane) and none is not a 'previous import' or 'Collections '.

  2. open the film and watch the status message to see how many pictures is selected.

  3. make sure to develop all the batteries. Here in this screenshot, you can see the shows of the film ' 82 109 / 82 selected ' once I pressed on "Edit > select all.» This is because I have collapsed of batteries, and pictures in a reduced battery are not selected. Use ' photo > stacking > expand all stacks.»

  

  Try these steps and see if you can reproduce this problem or track. In particular, the status of the film strip line should give you some clues. Let me know what you find.

• LR3: Batch edit IPTC title metadata

  Hello

  I rename my files to import to satisfy certain requirements. But once I got my photos store in a collection (say my shot I want to keep and promote), I would like to have the name of the IPTC title with a more descriptive name, such as "Model name xxx" where xxx is a sequence. I don't want to change the name of the file, just the IPTC metadata.

  Is it possible to do in Lightroom 3?

  It seems very simple, but I can't find anywhere...

• How do I batch edit form fields that have already been filled (if possible)?

  I am currently working on an electrical infrastructure project.  I designed roughly 800 diagrams electrical manhole.  One such example is shown below:

  

  In the upper left and lower left corners, I have included the 'name' of this particular look and it's adjacent looks (highlighted with red boxes).  During the presentation of information to the client, they asked that the 'E' in these names is replaced by a "WP" for the rest of their data.  Is there a way to do this without edit individually each form field on these 800 diagrams?  Don't forget, I want to keep the rest of the fields intact, including the number after the 'E '.  I'm not particularly text warned, so if anyone happens to have any suggestions, please guide me through it.  I'll check back often in the hope of a solution.  Thanks in advance for the help!

  Oops, replace 36/72 36 just, but is perhaps too. You are incrementing in points, not inches. I don't think I need a more whisky!

  You cannot batch edit, but editing in the image menu mode you can copy adjustments and then go to a new photo and paste adjustments

  You can the change batch by using the menu of the image == > set date and time

  You can change the location, description, keywords and title of batch by selecting a batch of photos and make a right click is > info and enter the information for the photos - all the photos selected are updated

  I use 10.1.2 Imovie, how to create a period film. It is easy to add the photos of the project, but how shorten the exposure time, its default value is 4 sec. There are lots of tips for previous editions of iMovie.

  In the timeline, select all your clips in batch (Edit/Select All).  Then click the Info button in the toolbar at the top of your screen.  (One that has an 'i' with a circle around it).   In the duration box that appears on the right type, in any length of time of the clip you want and press the return key on your keyboard.   All your clips will change the duration that you set.  I was able to settle as fast second que.1.

  With respect to the default setting of 4 seconds, which can be changed by clicking iMovie/preferences, then change the default time in the dialog box that results.   You have to do this early in your project, before you add clips, so that the new default touch.

• Parallel/lot Sockets using different I / O & Com

  I'm working on a test that will use the parallel model or batch editing.

  For each DUT (testpoints), there is a table attached relays, connected to a single Bay of Amnesty International.

  I want to be able to switch to a different picture of relay for each socket.

  Example:

  0 - VCC_3.vi, SW0_0on, switch socket

  Bushing 1 - VCC_3.vi, SW1_0on / stop--> waiting for socket 0 end with VCC_3.vi, pass a different IO

  Etc. for all and the steps

  I also need of each use a different "com_port.vi".

  Looks like I need a model of Seq / by hyb?

  I couldn't find much in the way of relevant discussions on this subject, so I hope that you have some knowledge to share!

  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  A couple of things about your question:

  You should be fine with just the parallel model or batch.  Personally, if you do not need to switch dynamically on DUT then I would go with the model of batch processing.  Why?  Because you can use synchronized sections.  Synchronized sections give you the ability to run a particular section of your movie file (i.e. several or a single step) in parallel, in the order or an outlet only.  With the parallel model you can kind of get there using locks and queues.  Search the Handbook of TestStand under annexes A and B for more information on the model of batch and synchronized sections.  To access the TestStand Reference Manual go to start > all programs > National Instruments >> Documentation > manuals.

  Regarding your screws and how they would handle each socket.  I don't think it's a good idea to do a different VI for each socket.  Just have some sort of case within the VI if 3 provided throughout the wires just to fill your switching or COM functions  For example: lets say 1 Socket runs and get to the step to call the com_port.vi.  One of the parameters for VI could be the number of the socket.  Inside of the VI you set the com port to read or write based on this setting.  You can set the parameter in TestStand using RunState.TestSockets.MyIndex (which will return taking you on that).

  In fact, you must even logic in your com_port.vi.  I guess one of the parameters in this VI would be a VISA session for your COM ports.  In TestStand, you use the LabVIEWIOControl data type which has the DeviceName property.  If you set this parameter to be '' COM' + Str (RunState.TestSockets.MyIndex)' then you will get the same thing from COM3 if you were in TestSocket 3.

  In any case, it's just a few ideas for you.  Of course, it must implement what makes sense.

  When the tag is there, just tracks scroll without playing one of them. It is not to the batch edit all tracks to delete this comment?

• Lightroom lag and slow in windows 10

  So the question, my client an avid user of Apple on my notice had him build a system customized for him based me on windows 10 64 with my recommendations for the material. As is now his Apple 'almost' runs circles around the new generation (but slower), and he edited RAW photos at high resolution and in batches etc etc... not really my Bailiwick if you want. I'm a hardware guy. That said we had any other problems with LR and yes there CC and all that and an account pays a lot of money for this, real estate does shoots and on average 300 photos of the all-day process every day. We have tried different settings, scratch the disc etc. to ratchet the cache etc but when it hits batch edit..tic toc toc tic... Here's the exact specifications:

  Now that in the heck are we doing wrong? his internet is low 150 MB and 25 upwards on a bad day. It is a period of single-purpose machine. Today for troubleshooting I uninstalled all Asus crud etc, the suite of Nvidia etc.. Now it's back to stability, but the slow as snot, but as I watched him via team Viewer, it was slow, I logged out of Team Viewer and his aircraft crashed again, that might be just a little problem because of remote viewing.   OK, I suggest three discs:

  1. keep the app on the internal ssd

  2. get another drive to keep the catalog and the previews on

  3 - a third disk for image files

  Disk access is important in order to have the components separated does help...

• How to remove the option to tag keyword 'Persons' of all the keywords in a hierarchy?

  Somehow, I scored my keywords 'Places' by mistake (I have about 100 of them under the keyword Places) with the keyword of the person checked - I probably used "Convert keywords keywords person" by mistake. Now, I want to cancel it. , I want the function reverse ' convert keywords to no keywords.

  Y at - it an easy way to do this:

  1. Modify each keyword under My Places keyword and uncheck the person OR
  2. Export all keywords, to publishing and importation to hide in

  Unfortunately, there is no supported way to uncheck the attribute of the person, other than to change the keywords one by one.  With the help of metadata > keyword export and import keywords will usually not what you want, since the import keywords always creates new keywords with no picture assigned to them.  (And in any case, the exported text file does not have many of the attributes keyword, including the attribute of the person).

  Over the years, many people complained about the lack of batch editing of keywords in LR, but Adobe has added none of the options.  And it is not possible for a plugin developer provide functionality, because LR does not provide the necessary hooks.   So please add your vote and notice to this feature in the Adobe official feedback forum request: Lightroom: better management of keywords | Community customer Photoshop family

• workflow question (color grading)

  IM pretty new to lightroom, but I really like

  IM using this batch to retouch photos of nightclub that I take the weekend, 240 photos every week.

  I'm using lightroom for nightclub batch edit photos, I correct them and apply colors logo and resize

  However, there is a shade of color I want to apply to the photos, the only way I know to do is to use the curves on photoshop plugin

  the problem is I change large amounts of photos and having to put in photoshop is going against the intuitive

  is it possible that I can do it all in one step?  for example, all in lightroom somehow important or imitating the effect I applied in photoshop

  Discover the tone curve Panel to develop. It has the curves of RGB you should be able to achieve this effect with. If you don't see the RGB option, click the tiny curved downwards to the right of the Panel until you see the RGB option next to the canal and then you can choose blue from there.
