Batch edits possible in LR3?

In ACR I can batch of similar files together but LR3 I don't see where I can choose several files and their batch together for editing.  Is there a way to do this?

While in develop, select all the images you want to apply the chosen one becomes, apply changes to one of these images, then select synchronization... a dialog will appear from which you can select what changes to apply.

Is it possible batch edit a text object that is repeated in a document using object editing commands? Thank you.

As I said, this is not possible with Adobe Acrobat - at least not without help. The Enfocus PitStop plug-ins for Acrobat (it's a 3rd party product) can make some changes in batches, and he may be able to remove the watermark - as long as you can describe (in terms of PitStop) how the watermark can be identified.

  • Bug in timestamp LR CC 2015 batch edition

I use LR CC 2015 on an iMac 27 "retina and when I try to batch edit timestamps, it does not update the timestamp of the first selected picture. Here the steps to reproduce:

    (1) select 2 or more photos

    (2) under the terms of metadata, click on the button to the right of the Capture time

    (3) in the Edit Capture time dialog box, select the radio "defined Shift by a number of hours (time zone setting).

    4) click the drop right out of the box of the new time and select-19 hours as lag.

    (5) click on edit

    Expected behavior:

All photos selected in step 1 should have their timestamps-19 hours

    Actual behavior:

Only the first picture in the selected in set 1 step has its adjusted timestamp.

  • LR3: Batch edit IPTC title metadata

    Hello

I rename my files to import to satisfy certain requirements. But once I got my photos store in a collection (say my shot I want to keep and promote), I would like to have the name of the IPTC title with a more descriptive name, such as "Model name xxx" where xxx is a sequence. I don't want to change the name of the file, just the IPTC metadata.

Is it possible to do in Lightroom 3?

It seems very simple, but I can't find anywhere...

    Thank you

Here is the link that is on the page for editing metadata. Joking with her a little, it's not too complicted.

  • How do I batch edit form fields that have already been filled (if possible)?

I am currently working on an electrical infrastructure project.  I designed roughly 800 diagrams electrical manhole.  One such example is shown below:

    manholeexample.JPG

In the upper left and lower left corners, I have included the 'name' of this particular look and it's adjacent looks (highlighted with red boxes).  During the presentation of information to the client, they asked that the 'E' in these names is replaced by a "WP" for the rest of their data.  Is there a way to do this without edit individually each form field on these 800 diagrams?  Don't forget, I want to keep the rest of the fields intact, including the number after the 'E '.  I'm not particularly text warned, so if anyone happens to have any suggestions, please guide me through it.  I'll check back often in the hope of a solution.  Thanks in advance for the help!

Oops, replace 36/72 36 just, but is perhaps too. You are incrementing in points, not inches. I don't think I need a more whisky!

  • ENVY TouchSmart 17 t-j100 Quad Edition - possible updates to level?

17 t-j100 Quad Edition ENVY TouchSmart

The CPU is not welded in place, but you will find that there is not much possible improvement. It is a processor i7 to 4th gen and even if you could get a one tick or 2 more quick, that the price would be astronomical, not to mention you would void the warranty. Not worth it.

No GPU upgrade is possible. The video is on a chip welded to the card.

Yes, the laptop has a second hard drive Bay and you can get an SSD (ordinary full size) to put in the first Bay to use as the startup disk. This will speed up there a lot such that you will not want to upgrade the CPU more.

  • How batch edit several files to add images on each page

    Hello

I have pdf files (about 1000) and all of them have several files. Is it possible using Acrobat DC (grammatically or using a function or tool) I can change everything in batch to have an image at the bottom of each page?

The same image on each page in each file? If so, you can use the command Add watermark in an action brought in Acrobat Pro to achieve this.

  • Batch edition do not apply any changes, what happens?

I have a problem for years, but only decided to ask for help now.

Usually I would import all my photos (smart preview convert) then...

    (1) select all (usually from 500 to 1500 images)

    2) press AUTO adjustment

    (3) and then adjust the exposure 0

    4) wait for the settings to be applied

I do this because usually everything works fine except except automatic exposure, I want to take care of that myself.

I find that not every image will show set to 0, there will be lots where exposure is not resetting.

The same goes for any other adjustment of the lot, I can select all and change say points, contrast, black or white, but the changes

    not apply to all images.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Hi rueyloonRufus,

It is hard to say based on your description exactly what might happen. However, I can offer some tips to help just shoot and maybe to get to the bottom of this. (According to me), I would like to start with the premise that you not actually select all images in the folder (for various reasons).

1 make sure you are in a view of the folders (under 'files' in the left pane) and none is not a 'previous import' or 'Collections '.

    2. open the film and watch the status message to see how many pictures is selected.

    3. make sure to develop all the batteries. Here in this screenshot, you can see the shows of the film ' 82 109 / 82 selected ' once I pressed on "Edit > select all.» This is because I have collapsed of batteries, and pictures in a reduced battery are not selected. Use ' photo > stacking > expand all stacks.»

Try these steps and see if you can reproduce this problem or track. In particular, the status of the film strip line should give you some clues. Let me know what you find.

  • Tricky Batch Export - Possible?

I have about 750 short videos that I need to create boot images for.  I need a PNG image of the first frame of each video and here's the catch... There is no uniform size for videos, but the boot image must be the same size as the video in that respect.  The images that must all fit this pattern of naming as well... 'videoname_splash '.

Does anyone know if there is a way to automate this process so that I don't have to go through each one individually?  I guess that there is not a way to automate all this, but I wanted to study the issue until I spent hours going through it.

    Thank you

    Calvin

I don't know of all software that can do this.  And I misread your original post on sizes.

Is there a way to combine several pictures as well as a similar exhibition and adjust them all at once as in ACR?  I downloaded the trial version and I'm not finding a way to make this feature.

  • Change the selection horizons - possible?

Is it possible to "batch edit" in Captivate funds without having to export them all (only once ) and then reimport and assign one-at-a-time to the skatin' ?

What I can do is export and editing in two steps, but can not then bring back them to the project to replace the originals without each of them individually.

What I want to achieve is to add a tint to the video statement to make it clear to the user that they are in the simulation and not the actual application.

    Thank you

    Dave

You mean the slides created using the Simulation software registration? They all use the same model girl of slides 'white '. If you just want to add a tint, could you not add a partially transparent image on this model of slides?

  • Saving edited files indb, keeping original?

So I searched around, and I can't find an answer to this. Probably because I don't know how that Word. So if there's a thread on this I apologize.

So I created a book in English, in Indesign. But now I have to create this book even with parts of it being Chinese. Well first I thought stupidly copy the original file in windows and putting it elsewhere would keep the file as a whole and intact. (I am new to Adobe). But it does not work and I found myself with 2 shortcuts that lead to the same published document, is more original / non-Chinese. So now, I thought I could use the menu book to "save the pound" and name it something else and put it elsewhere. That no longer works. For once I did all the work once again, I find that my original CD is once again editing.  A long long story. How to take an original book, edit it, save it as a new book and keep the original for a future edition possible?

    Thank you!

A simple way to do this, make a package.

    Thank you

  • I (n) and O (ut) of editing on the timeline

Sometimes, I always use a very good consumer NLE to another life.

Its not as sophisticated as PP by any means, but it has some useful features for certain types of work. I especially like the editing on the timeline using I and O. It works like this: urgent I put a Cup in a selected clip and eliminates material before cutting. O does the job of cutting and remove after cutting. It's so simple, less large and main traits for a just quick edit.

Add the well-designed ripple options and straight changes become child's play.

Chronology of simple typo edits possible in PP, where using a single key cut and removes?

    Thank you

  • Search for GPS data in LR3

I add GPS data to digital photos. At the moment I arrived to IDImager, which shows a Google Map, I do drag and drop photos on the map, and then click Save to update the GPS coordinates in the image. Then when I open the image in LR3, the geocoded data is there. Granted it is quite quick and simple, but I prefer to be able to choose a location on a map in LR3 and added GPS coordinates. I could not yet find out how. Is this possible in LR3?

LR not have built in support (yet), but here is a plugin that you might want to check.
