Batch loader, loading excel models in FDM
Hi Experts,I am very new to FDM. In our project, we will use the version 11.1.1.3.
I know this is the place where we get assistance and clues to reach things or solve problems. Thank you all experts for your contribution here.
I know the basics of FDM and has had the opportunity to work on development. So, I have gathered the requirements and began to install and configure the software.
I need to reach the underside of the things in this project using FDM. If my question is not understandable or no sense please forgive me.
* extract data from Oracle business suite enterprise (EBS 12) and refresh the Essbase cubes.
My solution: I intend to use ERPI to achieve.
* Drill through in the following Oracle enterprise business (EBS 12) for data to know less than BSE.

I don't know what to do here. Please let me know how can achieve us.
To automate the update process.
I know it's charger batch to do this activity. But my question is, if the files are to come in the form of text or CSV, let's use the batch charger. If you create rules for the loading of the meta data and how we will get it.

(2) if so, How can I reference objects in FDM HFM VB Scritp editor [custom general] (to use the HFM API via scripts VB FDM objects)?

-Lot controls in the FDM workbench are as follows:

Process method - series (I tried both serial and Parallel)
Filename delimiter - _ (underscore stroke)
-Batch file names follow the instructions in the Administrator's guide - < version > _ < location > _ < category > _ < period > _RR.txt (e.g. 1_TESTING_ACTUAL_Q1 - 2012_RR.txt)
-J' also checked and the FDM data in the shared drive folder comes with a complete access control (read/write).
-Batch files have been moved to another file sibiling as OpenBatch with a unique name, but the data could not import into the locations.
-J' also created and launched the script from a web client and the batch workbench.

Thanks a lot for all your response. This issue is resolved as soon as possible and I want to just share what we have done and close this post.
By my team, the FDM Task Manager has not been configured properly for the loader commands to run. Therefore,.
1. to configure the FDM Task Manager
For the file name, such as we would use the description for the period (e.g. T1 - 2012), so
2. we need to enable the setting "Allows a description custom period." (in the Admin--> Configuration); and
3. put the spaces between Q1-2012 in file naming for batch loading (for example, we cannot put
_ _ _Q1 2012 .txt, must be _ _ _Q1 - 2012 .txt) The batch charger works fine now.

Loading with description by FDM journal
Magazines can be loaded with the description of line level (no header level description) through FDM?
System takes the file with descriptions, when you build the file .jle manually and using charge sheets in the workspace. But when you try to load the magazines through FDM, it doesn't.
No idea how to do it? All the parameters that we are missing?It is currently not possible.
The Description will be the description in the first line of the journal template.

Automatically generated Excel models fail in the phase analysis model.
Although I was disappointed at first when I found that Excel models support format Excel 2007 (xlsx) I am more than 64 000 lines being a lot of network flow anway.
I was more interested in making our existing reports much smaller, because tens of thousands of lines translates to tens of megabytes with the release of these fake Excel files. It's all just too big to send to our recipients of the report.
Now, I can't even (autogenerated) Excel templates basic to work. What I was wondering if someone finds the positive experience with the new models, or should I abandon this path for more fruitful work?

Using the event Script to load the Excel model data for users

Whoever did this in the FDM 11.1.2.1.
We want to exploit the event Script to load the data validated MDF for a standard template so that users can make some adjustments and then load the same data through the FDM? Is there a better alternative. Basically, trying to avoid making adjs data forms in HFM in view of the number of columns that we have and validations for each line required with adjustments.

Whenever I try to load a program, for example - Word, Outlook, painting, etc., etc., Excel seems to try to open the program file that I selected.
I guess something has become corrupted, in which case the system think something ending with. EXE must be opened with Excel. I looked in the file Explorer-> tools-> Folder Options-> File Types, but .exe is not listed (as it is does not thank God).
I also tried Run and accessing a. EXE to see if it works, but Excel still trying to open the .exe file.
I've been playing with an attempt to paste the shortcut in the start list Excel, until I read on the axis 'in the start list. But can't see how to do a Ctrl + V shortcut in the choke should have had this effect.
Someone at - it ideas on how to get back to be able to load the programs?

You probably need to restore your .exe file associations (as you suspected it). Follow the instructions on this site, paying special attention to the note at the top to take care. EXE in particular binding problems.

With the help of a few other developers I maneged to make everything work properly.
Jeremy Duke pointed out that I would need to use the onItemAdded in my data model of the Group:

But not where it loads. It is throwing at getTemplate null pointer exception, method.
I tried to give different ways as below, yet I am unable to load it.

I'm trying to change the upload script in the FDM, but does not receive the correct syntax of the calc script in VB script.
My requirement is: I load the data with two different place in the two different version in Essbase. Being the script common load for all locations, I want to avoid clear data

Having said that, your logic is that a calc script will be executed for a specific location. Your problem is that you try to put the conditional statement in the statement to FIX rather than the vbscript itself

Seems that there is no documentation for this.
My curve experience shows that he does not follow a particular distribution. For example, tuple rate 100 per second, the distribution model is location t scale for some queries, while for 50 k and 100 k speed distribution is more apt to Weibull and generalized extreme value distribution.

I need to load some data from excellent spreadsheet to a table, but on one condition.
For example: If there are four columns in my excel sheet, the three combined columns must be loaded as a single column in my table and the last column in a separate column.
for example: if my excel sheet has emp_no, emp_val, emp_id, emp_date lines and its values are 1,1,1,29 / 07 / 2011, then he must be loaded in my employee table of database like 111, 07-29-2011... Place the CSV file in a directory accessible to the database.
Second, create an external table to select the data in the CSV file. Outdoor tables are very neat, once you get your head around them: basically we can execute SQL queries against the OS files. Declare the external table with four columns, i.e. its projection corresponds to the structure of your file. Learn more about the outdoor tables.
(You will need create a DIRECTORY object to do this, pointing to the OS directory where you put the CSV file).
Now its to a cinch to insert data into your target table:

Batch loading of bridge-tools-Photoshop-batch no screen appears
Can't screen Batch to load in bridge-tools-Photoshop-batch cs6
I use a PC with Vista 64. Yes Ps was running. Let me say that one update for Cs6 and bridge recently posted by Adobe, since my post and after I had tried several times after that I'm the new Cs6, now all works well with the Batch Suite screen coming as it did in Cs5.

Test us now on a new server environment and you encounter a problem with a batch that is currently operating without issue on our current production environment. We import, validate and export a file in FDM in our 'Real' category and the batch then retrieves the file in the Outbox, re-imports, valid and exports to a second category of "ActSeg". We have implemented the task on the Task Manager FDM, event script and script custom exactly the same on the new environment either on the current environment of the PRD. As I said, this process will run without problem on the current economic situation, but in the new PRD, it stops at the export stage.

Your error log, it looks like FDM is unable to establish a connection with the server HFM. What the user is your batch process runnung under and makes that the user has rights to access the HFM target application?
