Batt 9elements W540, sleeves?

Hello, I am looking for a lightweight sleeve for my W540 (without charger). As it has the "bump" battery 9 cells, I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the model.

I prefer the leather, if possible.

Thank you.

Hello.

You have the wrong sleeve for your machine, there is also a 15W sleeve that fits a machine 15 "with the extended battery option.

Here's my W520 placed comfortably in one of them.

    Dear guys,

It seems that I'll hit for a 21-hour flight in 6 weeks or more, for this purpose I need something for my 220 X light protection, but I use the 9-cell batt and heck, Im considering slice 6-cell... (might end up with a mattress of 9 secondary cells well)...

But, how to handle the issue of the round with these options? I can't possibly be the first who had this thought.

    Please share some great solutions.

    Hello

eBags features of a tool on their website called Laptop Bag Finder that let's you type in the dimensions of your laptop and it will return compatible cases.  You can measure your X 220 different cells, type the dimensions in and see what comes back as a result.

  • WT-310 - need to slip /sleeve case recommendations

When I bought the WT310-106, I picked up the Toshiba brand for her case as well.
Unfortunately, then the box seems good and it is well done, the design is poor.

It does not correctly, wise there is an inch and a half high margin too large to be moved. The sides have only a few inches of elastic in half top, if the lower half of each side is open.

This means that the lower corners of the Tablet are not properly protected and the tablet can turn in the case. Therefore the lower corners of the case are crushed by now. The other problem is that put a pen in the provided loop push the Tablet askew. Very poor design.

Recently, I jumped in PC World to see what they had and was surprised by how little computer case laptop 11.6 "fit the 310 (one!).

If anyone has a recommendation for a Holster that fits the WT310, maintains computer in place, protects the corners, a hard protection to the screen and soft protection to shock as well as a Pocket/loop/space for a pen?

It will be transported in a Messenger bag with other junk needs to be quite robust but is not waterproof, I use it at work so no Ganja leaves etc.

    Hello

the round of Toshiba measures 1.6 x 22.6 x 20.7 cm and its been for 11.8 as well as 11.6 displays.
I guess an3rd bias for screens of 11.6 sleeve should be compatible with the TOSHIBA Tablet too.

So I recommend you seek 11.6 sleeve: for example, I found good Internet offer: sleeve leather Supremery

    Hello!

On the Toshiba site, you can search for compatible sleeves:

  • X 1 carbon Gen 4 sleeves

I just bought a new X 1 carbon (Gen 4) and I'm looking for a sleeve for her. I took the carbon especially because it's so light and small, but unfortunately the official corresponding to the size of the socket of Lenovo (X 1 Ultra socket) is large enough and weighs about half as much as the laptop itself and twice as much as a socket ordinary zip...

I am looking for a small lightweight neoprene/polyester/whatever sleeve with a zip in which the X1C Gen 4 would fit well. All the recommendations of people who have already been looking for one? Or maybe there's a basic sleeve reversible with the X 1 carbon dimensions provided for Lenovo?

I carry in my backpack so I just need basic protection.

    Thank you!

  • Magnetic sleeve prevents MacBook Eve or commissioning

FYI, when using a magnetic sleeve for my MacBook, I have found that if I tried to wake up or start the laptop with the sitting underneath sleeve (on my lap, for example), then I was unable to wake the portable computer. I also found that if I moved the sleeve below while I was doing something, then she would sometimes put my laptop to sleep while I was in the middle of a task. It seems that the magnet is trick the laptop into thinking he's still closed and so cannot meet the key or trackpad listens. Beware if you buy a sleeve with a magnetic closure, because you should not try to use the laptop on top where right next to the handle!

You can choose to report this problem to Apple Feedback - product section:

    Return products

This can help determine if there is something that needs to be done on

the front-end of their product development or accessory for these items.

    Thanks for the heads-up.

  • Can power supply Question - I use the 230W power supply with a W540?

    I have a W540, which currently uses a power 170W (8.5 a 20V)

    I got also a docking station for a P50 that has a power of 230W showing 20V 11. 5a.

The connectors are similar, but I'm hesitant to try the 230W power supply in the W540.

It is allowed to use the 230W power supply with the W540?

230 watts is maximum power feeding, it only provides the energy required by the computer.

I sold my W540, so I can't test it for you. But I do use the ThinkPad X 1 carbon with 230 watts without no problem power adapter.

  • Multicard reader W540 disappeared from the Device Manager

I just got a brand-new W540, used the DVD that accompanies him to the level of W7 to W8 and then updated to W8.1. It works fine, but my integrated memory card reader doesn't seem to work. I tried to download the driver of multicard reader O2Micro W8.1 compatible web-support Lenovo, and he asked me if I wanted to repair or uninstall; to which I replied "fix." The process is finished, I rebooted upon request, but still the card reader does not. Or I see in Device Manager, and I did not all devices of unknown type or problems and manually install the driver (as existing device, using 'Have disk' etc) did not help.

Searching on the Lenovo support web, I also found a Realtek driver multicard supposed to be done for the W540, but this does not work either. Both packs driver install without a hitch and lies in programs & applications after installation, but the rest useless memory card reader. I went straight for an OS update when I got the computer, I have no idea if the card reader used to work in Win 7 or vanilla 8 win, but I * think * I spotted under 'Storage controllers' before you try to install these packs pilot (but that could have been on another computer).

    Any ideas?

As a last desperate resort, I ran an update BIOS and for some absurd reason the SD card reader on my works now W540.

  • W540 - display resolution double screen with cable DVI - D Dual Link

I recently bought a W540 and connected to my Dell u3011 30 "monitor. I used the Dual Link cable DVI - D that came with the monitor and connected on my Dock Ultra. The maximum resolution I can get is 1920 x 1080? When I pass a display port cable I can achieve complete resolution of 2560 x 1600? Is there something I need to do to get the complete resolution of 2560 x 1600 with dual link DVI - D cable? I want to be able to connect 2 laptops to a normal screen and 1 entrance to port the screen so I need to be able to use the DVI cable on the 2nd machine while allowing resolution 2560 x 1600.

Port DVI - D on the Ultradock is single link only.

If you need DVI - D with double bond (i.e. 2560 x 1600) resolution, you need an active displayport to dual binding converter. StarTech makes, they should be about 80 USD or something in this region.
