battery discharged after installation of el capitan
I upgraded to El Capitan, and since then, I observed that my battery lasts less and less. She fell about 3-4hours. Used to be 6-7 hours even running the same software with similar brightness. I bought my Macbook Pro retina in November 2015 (retina MacBook Pro 13 inch, early 2015 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3 Intel Iris 6100 1536 MB video card).
Is that what I can do to find out what is happening with my battery and maybe fix somehow?

You can probably not - most likely, you will need to switch to Photos (what would happen sooner or later anyway)
Have you looked under purchases in the app store? Can't update iPhoto because it is not available in the App Store
If it is not there you can try reinstalling iPhoto 11 of the original source and the upgrade to 9.6.1 but I doubt it will work
Or you can try to restore your backup from just before you shape did this error

Photo library lost after installation of El Capitan
After the installation of El Capitan in Yosemite, my MacBookPro doesn´t recover the existing photo of i-photo library. It only shows what created under El Capitan. They went or is it just the link who is gone? Does anyone know?
Look in your pictures folder, in your user name folder, this is the default location for the library of Photos and the iPhoto library.
Now the option/ALT key when starting iPhoto or Photos will bring up a dialog for you to choose library.
You can also put libraries in iPhoto. Go to the folder / switch to library.

iMac will not be stopped after installation of El Capitan
My computer shuts down after upgrading to El Capitan. I did some research and discovered that I have to remove avid CoreAudio.plugin of my plugin folder, but when I opened this file is not there. Is there another solution to this problem?

Slow Mac after installation of El Capitan
After installing the OS El Capitan 10.11.13 my computer is very slow, I hear a noise hard drive and get the Bowl from the beach and several programs (mail, number, pages, etc. stop responding and I have to force quit them) I just use Time machine to backup and run the diagnostic of the egret. 2012 MacBook Pro running slowly after installation of el capitan
I saw this post made by many people many times - that their computer started running slowly after the installation of the el capitan. I tried to read every post I could on this topic, and I can't find the solutions. I was told that it could be everything from upgrading ram and an SSD hard drive, to the delivery of programs to remove the adware. In the end, I can't understand why it runs very slowly now, the only change has been the upgrade to el capitan, otherwise everything went much before. If someone knows a way to understand the problem or to find a solution that would be amazing!

Emergency aid. Stuck with black screen after installation of el capitan
My macbook pro very frequently showed the circle of death. So I've updated for Mac el capitan. After many attempts, I've been successful. But once again the wheel of death problem started. so I decided to reinstall. After the reinstallation, I got a blank screen with a cursor. Does not further. After I stopped and restarted, I just get a screen version of the kernel and it restarts. So I'm stuck. Please if someone could help me. Its urgency. Mac not opening.

Reboot after installation of El Capitan
I have a 27 "Imac, mid-2011. 3.1 Ghz.
After you install the free update of El Capitan 2 weeks ago, my computer randomly stops and restarts itself, at least once a day.
It just happened 4 times in a row and is very frustrating.
Can anyone offer advice on how to fix or to downgrade the OS to the previous operating system?
Have you checked that the third-party applications that you have installed are compatible with El Capitan?

☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be all Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ all Messages
in the list of logs on the left. If you don't see this list, select
List of newspapers seen ▹ display
in the menu at the top of the screen bar.
Each message in the journal begins with the date and time when it was entered. Highlight date back to the time you noted above.
Select the messages entered since then until the end of the episode, or until they begin to repeat, whichever comes first.
Copy messages to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command + V.
The journal contains a large amount of information, almost all this is useless to solve any particular problem. When you post a journal excerpt, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't dump blindly thousands of lines in the journal in this discussion.

Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
When you post the journal excerpt, an error message may appear on the web page: "you include content in your post that is not allowed", or "the message contains invalid characters." Are all your 3rd party applications update to work with El Capitan? Have you checked to see if updates are available, if they are not? Devolved to a older OS requires to fill one of two conditions:
- you have a Time Machine backup, made when you use Yosemite
- you previously downloaded and installed the Yosemite and so can access the installer via the App Store

This is my first topic and wish to get help with a problem I had with my laptop.
Thus, after having reinstalled XP on my Satellite 2450-101, down battery. I have reinstall the common modules, utilities and the powersaver, but whenever I plug the power of battery led starts flashing for a while and after awhile it turns green. But if I plug the power, the closed laptop.The battery was working perfectly before this relocation.

After installing El Capitan on my iMac (20-inch early 2008), I have selected the wrong library to update and can appear not to understand how to fix this problem. I can get to the old library of photo, but when I then click the iPhoto icon, the wrong library appears. The processor is clocked at 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM memory. Can anyone help?
Hold down the option key while you start the application. Go to the iPhoto library that you want to run.
