Reboot after installation of El Capitan

I have a 27 "Imac, mid-2011. 3.1 Ghz.

After you install the free update of El Capitan 2 weeks ago, my computer randomly stops and restarts itself, at least once a day.

It just happened 4 times in a row and is very frustrating.

Can anyone offer advice on how to fix or to downgrade the OS to the previous operating system?

Have you checked that the third-party applications that you have installed are compatible with El Capitan?

Check to see if there are updates available if you do not.

    You can probably not - most likely, you will need to switch to Photos (what would happen sooner or later anyway)

    Have you looked under purchases in the app store?  Can't update iPhoto because it is not available in the App Store

    If it is not there you can try reinstalling iPhoto 11 of the original source and the upgrade to 9.6.1 but I doubt it will work

    Or you can try to restore your backup from just before you shape did this error

    I managed to restore my Windows to previous restore point, using the CD of Vista to start, and then select repair Windows. I hope this helps.

    After the installation of El Capitan in Yosemite, my MacBookPro doesn´t recover the existing photo of i-photo library. It only shows what created under El Capitan. They went or is it just the link who is gone? Does anyone know?

    Look in your pictures folder, in your user name folder, this is the default location for the library of Photos and the iPhoto library.

    Now the option/ALT key when starting iPhoto or Photos will bring up a dialog for you to choose library.

    You can also put libraries in iPhoto. Go to the folder / switch to library.

    After installing the OS El Capitan 10.11.13 my computer is very slow, I hear a noise hard drive and get the Bowl from the beach and several programs (mail, number, pages, etc. stop responding and I have to force quit them) I just use Time machine to backup and run the diagnostic of the egret.   • 2012 MacBook Pro running slowly after installation of el capitan

    I saw this post made by many people many times - that their computer started running slowly after the installation of the el capitan. I tried to read every post I could on this topic, and I can't find the solutions.  I was told that it could be everything from upgrading ram and an SSD hard drive, to the delivery of programs to remove the adware.  In the end, I can't understand why it runs very slowly now, the only change has been the upgrade to el capitan, otherwise everything went much before.   If someone knows a way to understand the problem or to find a solution that would be amazing!

    My apps are around a year now and I realize that they do not have to restart the computer after the installation or update. So I get some customers complain that it does not work so I advice to restart and it solved their problem.

    The BlackBerry Smartphone should automatically prompt the user if a reboot is required.  Your application has no need to specify anything to achieve.  The following article explains why a reboot is required.  Your application falls into any of these categories?

  • Emergency aid. Stuck with black screen after installation of el capitan

    My macbook pro very frequently showed the circle of death. So I've updated for Mac el capitan. After many attempts, I've been successful. But once again the wheel of death problem started. so I decided to reinstall. After the reinstallation, I got a blank screen with a cursor. Does not further. After I stopped and restarted, I just get a screen version of the kernel and it restarts. So I'm stuck. Please if someone could help me. Its urgency. Mac not opening.

    • you have a Time Machine backup, made when you use Yosemite

    Hold down the option key while you start the application. Go to the iPhoto library that you want to run.
