Battery info!

Hi, I need to change the battery on my pc, it of like changing a battery on a radio or is there something special to do before taking it on my pc?

Here's a guide to change the battery in motherboard http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000239.htm

It is better if you find a manual for your PC check any special requirement. If you do not have a copy on your PC, the computer manufacturer's Web site should have one.

When you open the case carefully to avoid electric or electrostatic shocks. Make sure that it is unplugged.

    Hello

    I thought that most of the Toshiba laptop models are known to me, but now I'm completely confused when I saw the picture of this beauty. ;)
    Where you bought this laptop?

    As you can see this laptop model is not listed on the support page of Toshiba Europe. Is it perhaps an Asian model? Maybe in the United States?

  • Satellite L500-12V - trendy but do not charge the battery

    Hello

    I have problem with my battery. Says this computer system is "plugged in, not charging." When I click on the battery info it says available at 26%. When I try to start the computer without the charger is plugged in, it does not work. If I plug in charger when the computer is turned on, it is turn it off. Is my battery dead already or it is problem with charger or something else?

    Sorry for my bad English.

    Hello

    What battery LED on your laptop? If you plugin the AC/DC adapter is this light on or off?
    Can you charge the battery while the laptop is turned off?

    Generally if Notepad starts with the charger plugged in the charger works properly and that the problem must be the battery itself or in the worst case the control of load on the motherboard :(

    On the Toshiba site I found an interesting article:

    is it possible to show the life of the battery in percent and in hours and minutes in the taskbar? (Windows 7 64-bit)

    Hello

    That s a feature! ;)

    The battery life on Vista and Windows 7 displayed in percent. If you want in hours and minutes too you must install an additional tool such as Notebook BatteryInfo. Use Google to find this program!

  • battery drains more than 50% of the overnight just in mode 'sleep'

    I got the macbook pro retina display since Dec. 4... so its been 17 days only.  I woke up this morning to find my laptop battery to 33 percent, after going to sleep with him to 87% in mode 'sleep'.  I did some research and that you turn off bluetooth and a bunch of other battery conservation settings... yet quickly drains... I recently just reset the SMC. Wanted to just ask and see if theres anything else I can do or if I have to take for watching.

    looking at my battery info in system information shows that my battery is on cycle count 7. is it normal to have only the laptop 17 days? It seems a little high... not sure whether there is interest. Ive had only to load 4 or 5 times since to get it. Should I consider for watching?

    Any info or help would be appreciated

  • W3-810 battery drains when it is off (full stop)

    I got a W3-810 a week ago. So far, it's great except for a problem with the battery; it loses about 1-2% per hour when arrested - most, but not all the time. See below.

    1. As far as I know, all drivers are up-to-date.
    2. As recommended in the manual, I disabled the quick start so that when I use Shut Down in the bar to win 8 charms, he should make a full stop, not a hybrid.
      -J' ran a the Powershell command, who confirmed that the last couple Shut Downs were indeed full.

    I searched around the internet for help with this problem but haven't met something useful. Then, I'll have to this forum for an easy I hope & quick fix. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

    In my view, the question in the battery mechanism, not as the battery discharges. Try to go through a few complete cycles of load (load completely, run on battery until it stops, then load entirely new) so he could re - calibrate and see if that fixes it.

  • I have a Lenovo IdeaPad P500 running Windows 8, and my battery is 0% charged. When I plug it in, it says "plugged and not charging."

    Help, please! When I use my computer, it must be connected as the battery stays on 0% fees. When I plug it, I pass my mouse over the icon in the taskbar that shows me the battery power, it is said "plugged and no charging current" and displays a battery that has 0% fees. When I unplug the computer, it turns off INSTANTLY, and I need to plug in again to use it. Before that, I lived lack of extreme battery life, and it would last from 5 minutes to 30 seconds. I ordered a new battery, but it does not come for a few days, and I want to be able to bring my laptop with me.

    I have a same problem too. My battery shows 18% charged all the time. Even when it is plugged.

    And as soon as I take the plug it shuts. My battery info shows like that.

    Hi mukeshbhakta

    There is something wrong with the circuit load or battery.

    The full last Charge can be superior to the nominal capacity?

    I would recommend that you check with Lenovo to find how to troubleshoot the charging circuit.

  • Exposing the battery to the host to guests

    Hello

    I am successfully under VMware Server 2 on my laptop (Ubuntu 8.10), and I use virtual machines to test my favorite project, lights, NetBSD, and OpenSolaris.

    E17 works well in the VM NetSBD 5.0, but the battery module and module temperature, inside E, reports a N/A (not available) in the form of data. Grepping out lshal, that I see no reference to the battery.

    So the question is: is it possible to expose to the virtual HAL of the host machine, in the statutes of battery and temperature of retail?

    TIA

    Massimiliano

    It might be possible to switch the battery info thanks to..., it IS possible in the latest versions of workstation.  I think that your guests will be at the virtual hardware version 6 or later.

    I have read many similar topics with the same problem, but with mine, I can't enter the BIOS if I press the F1 key. Is it normal when occurs the error above? I thought enter the BIOS was not dependent on the RTC battery. Currently, I have the laptop turned on and thinking of leaving at least 8 hours, as many people have said. However, having no answer by pressing the F1 key concerns me.

    Hello

    Please check you user manual. I put t know what chapter but check the battery info.
    The same mistake has been mentioned in my user manual and here the solution is very simple;
    You must charge the battery of the CCF. This battery provides power to the motherboard.

    You charge the battery for 12-18 hours. Leave the laptop connected to the power supply during this period.

    To set the time and date, you need to access the BIOS. I think you click everything first ESC then F1 to access in the BIOS settings. Try it.

    Good bye

    It will be something else?

    qml->setContextProperty("_battery", &batteryInfo);

    for example

    qml->setContextProperty("_bateria", &batteryInfo);

    or

    qml->setContextProperty("Battery", &batteryInfo);
