  I have tosbhia satellite a25-s279 and toshiba dvd of ghost.

  That is right. The external USB CD/DVD drive is not bootable, and you will not be able to boot from the CD

  No, it is not possible to boot from the USB key. BIOS does not support this start option

  I think the only way is to buy a hard drive taken in internal load and then boot from the CD.
  You can also try to boot from the local network, but it's not easy and you will need a RIS server.
  I think that this is not really a solution.

  If you n t have the Toshiba Recovery CD then you can order it from the ASP in your country.

  In other cases you can try to reinstall the OS Win since the original CD of Microsoft. Please note that the key which is placed at the bottom of the laptop doesn t work with other versions of Windows XP and the CDs.

  Therefore, buy an original CD of Win XP.

  Then you can download and reinstall the XP drivers from the Toshiba page us because this laptop is designed only for the American market.

  As you stipulate that Windows stops working within 30 days, I'll assume that you have been unable to activate your copy of Windows. You receive the error message probably is "key to product already in use"? If this is the case, a simple phone call will solve the problem.

• CC of Photoshop for PC - ctrl-alt-arrow key does nothing

  I installed Photoshop CC on a new PC, and the combination of keys ctrl-alt-arrow does nothing. He used to reduce the area of framing around pixels and move the selection by 1 pixel.   I just went into msconfig > Services tab, deselected "Intel HD Graphics Control Panel Service" and restarted the PC.

  You will always have access to the graphical control panel, but Ctrl-Alt-arrow is no longer blocked in Photoshop.

  Is there anyway that I can boot from a hard disk on the A25 USB? In any case to update the BIOS to give me the option to boot from USB hard drive?

  I already went through the BIOS and used the HWsetup nothing helps.

  I want to run Linux on a mini-usb HDD, I just picked up, but I can't seem to boot from the USB connection.

• Satellite A25-S279 - screen is too bright all of a sudden

  I went to the MS site for cleartype fonts and fooled. I did not like the cleartype fonts, so I manually turn off in windows and internet explore.

  However, something happened that is causing the entire screen to be very bright makes all the washed out colors. I plugged in the VGA output for a CRT monitor, and brightness/colors are there.

  My keyboard has been broken for a while, so I use an external USB keyboard, which means that I can not access the FN key. I did to in in Windows display properties, but the sliders he for the Trident card which adjust brightness, saturation, and tint cannot be moved. Sound like they are there permenantly.

  Also, I went into the Bios and made sure he was using the default settings.

  Anything else I can try? Do not have the restore CD.

  I have currently problems try to activate the connection Wireless on my laptop. My laptop model is a satellite A500 PSAR9A O2J001. My laptop's physical wireless switch does not work and neither my Fn keys don't work (none of my function keys work not at all). It was awhile I saw an orange light next to my mobile switch indicating it was on, but one day, it's just off. • Have tried to update to 40.0.3, goes through a routine complete with no errors, but the update does not.
