  Simply remove the battery if you use the laptop for long periods of time on the AC adapter - personally I would remove the battery if this time is regularly 1 week or more.  Otherwise, there is no harm in leaving the battery installed.

  I played with power options, and there is nothing specific to the touchpad.  Setting the power of USB has no effect either. This laptop (Toshiba A505 series) is up-to-date with all service packs, etc.

  You need to maybe uninstall and reinstall the Synaptics drivers installed on the system.

  Uninstall and reinstall the Synaptics drivers.

  a. Click Start, point to settings and then click Control Panel.

  b. double-click system click on hardware and then click Device Manager.

  c. expand the device, and then double-click the Synaptics driver.

  d. click on the driver tab and click on uninstall

  e. restart the computer and check

  I have a portable BB09 Ultra extended battery HP that Piggy-Back with the laptop to provide some extra work time. I turn it on between laptops.

  It works by releasing all of first/front that the internal battery is used.

  When the internal battery charge first, after that the extra battery pack fees.

  Suddenly, the logic is reversed.

  The battery is fully charged, but the original battery is discharged first.

  0% when the battery inside the notebook dies instantly without the usual warnings (10%, 6% left).

  The extended battery pack provides no power even if it is fully charged.

  It appears to have happened after that a windows update, but are there not always updated. . ?

  If someone have experienced this before? Or would he know how to "reset" the loading sequence?

  Do mind that this can happen. This battery is expensive.

  Even if it is a Commercial product, here is a link to to test the battery.

  Plug the power supply directly to a wall outlet works. Do not connect it a power strip, surge arrester, or secondary power source as this could cause and issue.

  We have deployed just a X 201 new Thinkpad to an end user.  When it is connected to the docking station (X 200 ban) and push us power, it takes 2 minutes for Windows starts to load.  The Lenovo will immediately come to the start screen, and then turns off for 2 minutes and then start the Windows logo appears finally.  When not plugged into the docking station, Windows starts fine.  The problem occurs only when it is connected to the docking station.  Someone has an idea how to speed this up?  Thank you.

  If the shuffle still appears in iTunes when you connect, you can try to do a restore using iTunes, where the cause is a software problem.

  You get a pop-up window or dialog style without menu or the toolbar either? In this case:

  38 of Firefox has a little problem with this combination of circumstances:

  (1) turned off tabbed browsing
  (2) viewing a page in a private window
  (3) you click on a link encoded with target = "_blank", which launches the link in a new window

  I fear that these characters suggest that the secure connection of the browser has been violated. I do not see these when I use Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. I am aware, there is a security problem with https connections which is supposed to have been resolved. I've updated my FireFox browser to the latest version, but the characters continue to show when I'm connected to a financial institution. This is the only time where they appear. Any ideas?
