East BrowseFox-FTQ, a program of mozilla?
McAfee recommends that you quarantine of this program: "BrowseFox-FTQ. What is a part of Mozilla Firefox?
I never heard of him before (McAfee doesn't think it's a big deal, just a potentially unwanted program) and it is not Mozilla. Feel free to remove it.

I gave to Mozilla, this morning, now I'm getting on my pc from virus attacks.
This morning, I sent a donation (via PayPal) to Mozilla, at their request. Three hours later, I logged into my PC and my software Malware Bytes kept blocking attacks repeated to my PC, specifically the Mozilla X 86 files. This isn't good public relations on the part of Mozilla. I'm not a gift in the future if I have to deal with virus attacks. Thank you, Carol Warner

It is a very hot topic here that Mozilla was any form of attacks on your installation of Firefox after a donation
You really need to give more details about what and where he argues that Malwarebytes on.

Firefox plans to develop a program to record video teleconference gone?
The program "Hello" is designed for a video conversation to two parties. Mozilla developers are planning to develop a program of video conference call left several?
There IS salvation, when firefox Hello usable only for a conversation between two people.
multi-party videoconferencing is on the roadmap to long term, but it will take a lot of civil engineering works. Hello from Firefox is based on the webrtc standard which is a peer-to-peer protocol between two machines-multipart calls can be a rather difficult thing to understand on this basis... -
Forget the button will be available for Waterfox and when?
I have recently switched to 64 Waterfox, button forget will be available on it and when?
Hi diamonback68. I do not understand why you want the button to forget.
I would like to be able to say what that will come out on Waterfox. Because Waterfox doesn't not part of Mozilla, you need to ask the developer for Waterfox when they expect a version with this feature. You can message to the developer by clicking on Hare .
Hope that answers your question. If you need more information or have any other questions please ask. Also remember that you can always download the latest version of Firefox on mozilla.org. The last being just might surprise you.

I get so irritated by Firefox update notifications interrupting my work process and autmatic on MY computer. So although I consider it an invasion of my privacy and safety. If necessary I will set up a web site to mount a campaign against this disgraceful practice, which in reading some posts available that I can see are also a source of concern for other users.
Even in the best of cases where I could tolerate the choices of a response to "Ask later" which does not carteblanche Firefox ask me in 5 minutes.
It's particularly irritating for me because I have my computer configured to perform automatic operations that then get sabotaged by these notification settings appearing frequently. I really don't want to have to change the browser because I don't know if others are better.
I need a clear answer personal Mozilla thse on how I can kill these settings using my computer within 24 hours or I reserve the right to implement a campaign site to highlight this unacceptable behavior on the part of mozilla.I also recommend Mozilla only IF they are interested in getting community support to streamline their web site so that users can more easily find how to become members able to ask questions, but uncomfortable for Mozillla.
Very sincerely

I used firefox on Mac computers for years. I am now under Maverick Mac OSX 10.9.1 and have major problems with sizing of text in windows and windows suddenly change size (much smaller) and jump on the left side of my desk. Apple does not support Firefox, so I can't get assistance on their part and Mozilla is impossible to contact them directly. Can someone please help with this problem?
You can check the problems caused by a corrupt localstore.rdf file.
Reset the zoom of page on pages that are causing problems.
- View > Zoom > reset (Ctrl + 0 (zero); 0 + Command on Mac)
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

I keep getting windows pop up on my screen to update, but it still says that it is not compatible with Kapersky, I just update. Makes me nervous. In addition, belongs to Adobe of Mozilla? I can't seem to update that. However, it seems like if I can't download the videos at all and a large number of photos. I'm not computer savvy, and it's frustrating trying to navigate through it all.
You need to update Firefox 25.0.1. The real Kapersky Antivirus does not work in Firefox so it will still work, the only thing that will be disabled will be especially useless Firefox Add-on e kapersky. Remaining on older versions of Firefox actually leave you vulnerable to security problems.
Adobe is not a part of Mozilla. You can go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ to install Flash (don't include other software)

Is webcake an authorized by modzilla upgrade I get notice to improve firefox expired
When I open the browser one notice in the top corner of the display indicate that obsolete modzilla should update.
Then this webcake download starts does not resemble any Modzilla upgrade I didWhat is the url, Webcake is not part of Mozilla, and there is a good chance that you install malware from this site.
See the Update Firefox to the latest version for updaing properly.
Check also for malware with all programs (they are different malware)
- Microsoft safety scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP, if you do not already have one.

We intend to deploy an update to Firefox on our campus. The question I have is this: after the update, the "compatibility of the add-on Checker" appears, then the 'What's new' page appears during the first boot after the update. In this case: we use Deep Freeze to prevent kids to do any mischief based on software on the machines. But if we push the update at night, during maintenance windows, they will be frozen in the pre-first-time-run mode. So, whenever a student starts the PC after that, they will get the popup of compatibility both the "What's new" page
Is there a way I can disable that during the upgrade, so that students will not have to click on these 2 points away? I would like for Firefox just silently disable incompatible modules and do not display the page "news". I found ways to do it, but they involve editing omni.jar and others. I'd rather have a formal, documented way to do this.
Thank you!!
Well, eventually nothing worked, except all the settings I wanted to put in part of mozilla.cfg. When I added your suggestion, and one I found on the web to disable add-on compatibility check, I finally have a Firefox that loads directly to the homepage, even after the upgrade.
Here's what my mozilla.cfg file contains (to 6.0.2):
// Disable any auto-updates. lockPref("app.update.enabled", false); lockPref("extensions.update.enabled", false); lockPref("browser.search.update", false); lockPref("browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone", "ignore"); lockPref("extensions.checkCompatibility.6.0", false);
Of course, I must make the byteshift-13 at it, but copy the Core\ file and the file firefox.js to Core\Defaults\Pref\ the round is played.
Thanks for the help!

Is ff - update.exe to * safe to install?
Hello
I just received the following message: "you have chosen to open ff - update.exe... from: *.» You want to save this file. »
I have never seen this message before and can't find any reference to the exe file or address http. This address file and http is safe?
Kind regards
Ian

I wouldn't trust this file. The Firefox configuration file will have a name similar to "Firefox Setup 3.6.9.exe" and you should only download it directly from Mozilla. This site is not part of Mozilla.

Is available for download from McAfee a part of download of Mozilla Firefox?
Quite quickly after downloading Mozill, a McAfee icon appeared on my home page and in my hard drive program files. I tried to uninstall that I saw nothing about this when I downloaded the program. A window appeared asking me my social security and a box number asking that I am hosting a new program to install. Is this normal or should I worry?
Have you downloaded Firefox from www.mozilla.org? If you downloaded it from anywhere else, it is possible that you have been infected by malicious software.
- Uninstall from Firefox (Firefox uninstall it from your computer)
- Malware scan (Firefox to solve the problems caused by malware)
- Install Firefox by clicking on www.mozilla.org
