Even to type my email address, it takes more than 5 minutes and reacts more frequently (after typing each letter).

  Hello, it sounds like a theme or extension could be interfering here.   Well, here's the deal I had some problems with my Satellite l305d-s5892 so I ended up using a copy of Windows Vista to format so I can use it again.
