Before the controls Panel reset each VI run.

Hello

I have a test unit, MISTLETOE is designed in Labview; Measures pressure and writing for a Word report are required. I currently have a problem regarding the behavior of VI when I run. It is explained below:

All my settings front and controls which give before you run the vi reset empty Windows when I run the VI.

Also, I first thought that, ok, same if control values disappear, as long as they written in the report, it is very good. But, it happens that easily. When I have the controls on the front panel before you run the VI of power and then run the VI, I must stop the VI and run it again for them to print the report.

The model is like this:

1. go the front panel control values.

2. to run the VI ===> Panel control values before disappearing.

3. perform the test, stop the VI and print the ===> no control value to print.

4 restart the VI without going all control values.

5. run the VI ==> controls front are empty (of course, because no values have been entered).

6. perform the test, stop the VI and print the report ===> initially entered control values to print.

So, essentially, before control values not only disappear when the VI is executed, but there are also two that works for the values to enter in the memory and to print the report.

The goal is to punch in the values of control-> Run the VI-> > print the report and the report is complete with all the values in that control.

Now a bit about the VI:

Control values, that I don't speak are simple string as the name of the company controls, operator name and al.

The block diagram composed of (LEFT to RIGHT):

Consumer & producer loops--> Type in front of panel controls--> print the report.

In other words, loops of producer/consumer of output data in the toolkit of generation report. But the Front panel to be fed contols lie between producer/consumer loops and report printing function. (No express used screws)

So, how can I get rid of my front panel endangered control values. I want to display when the VI is running.

Please advice.

Thanks in advance,

RP.

  • How to: using the same control panel for several vi and reproducing change to the control panel.

I created a labview project that contains about 40 vi.  Each vi has a joint control panel which is a group of ip address, or address of the port and the parameters that are passed high-level vi at low level vi for the purpose of control and access our daq cards.  As this control panel exists in all the vi and must not be the same there is a problem when the need to make a change or update the controls during development.  The problem is how long it takes to go and change the control panel of each single vi.  I wish I had a way of reproducing a change in the Panel of control through all six simultaneously.

All controls in the control panel are in a bundle, so all values are passed to 1 thread.

I tried to turn the Panel in a sub vi and this way I can just "create control" and have output parameters maniuplate vi, but if I update the vi, I still have to go back and create a new control for each vi under the control has changed.

I tried using secondary and the creation of the control panel in a sub vi which is displayed in the secondary, but gives the undesirable consequence of not being able to view or change the settings of the control panel if the program does not work, as pristine as when sub-panels program does not work.

Is there a another way to display the front panel of a Subvi next using a panel of void?  Is there a better way to propagate changes in a bundle in a series of vi?

Yes a def type might help you and I would take the next step to make a strict type def if you want the look to be the same on all its bodies. You can also view this nugget on Type definitions for more idea about it.

  • Power options in the control panel are empty - can't do anything.

Recently, I noticed that the Power Options in the control panel is empty.  I can't create something or do something there.  Could something in Services.msc have disabled this?  Nowhere part that I should look at?  I cannot stop, restart, or put it to sleep.  Also when I start the computer (once using the hardware Reset button on the computer case) he does not remember my user name.  He asks me every time.  There is no password.  I just press ENTER after entering my user name.

  • Miss me the windows system32 rundll32.exe. I can't access the Add/Remove in the control panel.

    original title: missing file

Miss me the windows system32 rundll32.exe. I can't access the Add/Remove in the control panel.

I tried to start - run with my c/d operating system

    I checked for viruses

I purchase software to remove etc and REG files.

    Now that the devil do?

    Thank you

    If this

I tried to start - run with my c/d operating system

means that you have tried to use sfc/scannow from start > run, your experience is not surprising.  This 'solution' is often suggested by people who don't really understand what this command does.  It does not help to restore a missing rundll32.exe file.

    For what is

    I checked for viruses

What is the name and version of your anti-virus application?  When (approximately) their subscription expires? What other antimalware applications installed?  What other antimalware applications you used recently to scan your computer?

If you have not yet used the "software to remove the REG files and etc." return for refund or throw it out.  "Registry cleaners", 'tuners', etc. are not useful.  If you used to "clean" the registry, use its "undo" feature (if it has one) to restore the registry.  Longtime MS MVP PA Bear:

TIP: If you still think again your registry database must be cleaned, repaired, amplified, to the point, healed, twisted, fixed, enlarged, "swept" or optimized (it isn't), read http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?t=28099 and draw your own conclusions. See also http://blogs.technet.com/markrussinovich/archive/2005/10/02/registry-junk-a-windows-fact-of-life.aspx

What probably happened is that your antivirus application deleted or quarantined in your file rundll32.exe thinking he was infected.  He could have, but probably not.  In any case, read the post that begins, "That 'solution' is not on my list." in the following thread: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp-performance/systemrundllexe-not-found/6e30aff2-a88e-4d86-a654-753d54f632d1 you can also read the rest of the posts in this thread.

Note that c:\windows\system32\dllcache is a hidden folder, but you who type in the address bar of Windows Explorer (or copy and paste), the folder should open anyway.

Assuming you manage to restore rundll32.exe, download, install, update and run full scans (not at the same time) with each of the following free tools.

    MalwareBytes AntiMalware
    SUPERAntiSpyware

  • I get the error of Windows Explorer tries to use the Control Panel Applets

Whenever I have open Control Panel, and then select an applet (Folder Options), I get an error for Windows Explorer and everything is frozen until I have completed the task with the Task Manager.  I am running XP Home Edition with Service Pack 3.  Have passed through each .cpl file by placing each of them, one at a time in a temporary folder and then try the control panel again.  I always have the error and cannot detect what applet file could be causing it.  Any help is appreciated.

You must run a full on your antivirus scan, until the Trojan horse is completely removed.

Try to access the folder in this way options:

Start > my computer > in the top menu, click Tools > choose folder at the bottom of the menu options.

Also run the eset online scanner on.

Once the infection has been cleared, you should be able to go into folder options without freezing the pc.

If you were able to enter the folder through the above method options and let us know if the Trojan horse has been completely deleted.

On display is come information that Windows cannot find 'C\WINDOWS\system32\rundll.32.exe '.

    Help, please. Thanks Gene.

    Thanks Gene.

    Dear: :

Running sfc/scannow will not replace the missing rundll32.exe file.

Why you post methods that do not work and will be just wasting time?

Hove you never even seen this problem before, tried to recreate it so that you can actually see, or have you never really fixed?

Why you learn not what sfc/scannow does and does not do?

Here is a simple test to you and all your colleagues in the technical support engineer:

Rename or delete just your c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe file is "missing".

    Rename rundll32.exe---> rundll32.xxx

If you started normally, before you can blink, the 'missing' rundll32.exe file quickly and quietly replace the copy in the dllcache folder.  It is the Protection of Windows file in action and you will see something like this in the Event Viewer log system:

    Event type: Information
    Event source: Windows File Protection
    Event category: no
    Event ID: 64002
    Description:
File replacement was attempted on the protected system file c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe. This file was restored to the original version to maintain system stability. The file version of the system file is 5.1.2600.5512.

I beg you to perform this simple test to know how the sfc/scannow:

Boot your system to Safe Mode or the recovery for the Windows File Protection Console does not run.

For this example, we will use the system critical file rundll32.exe.

Rename or delete your c:\windows\system32\rundll32.exe.exe file so the file is now "missing."

A critical file, is it true?  It is on the list of the file 3498 knows the Protection of Windows and SFC files, but now he isn't.

If Windows File Protection is running, the "missing" file would be quickly and silently replaced (try to rename or delete it in normal mode and it will be quickly and quietly replaced).

Now, with your file rundll32.exe missing, start in Normal mode and try to use something like control panel to open something like Power Options and you'll see that familiar message:

    Control Panel
Windows cannot find 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe '.  Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click search.

Now you have recreated a common problem with the missing file and seen the error of our own eyes.  A Microsoft Support Engineer will usually suggest running sfc/scannow for this kind of problem, but it will not work or help and you can prove it to yourself, and now you have reproduced the error.

You follow own advice and run sfc/scannow to the end.

The rundll32.exe is always had disappeared, right?  Did run sfc/scannow replace the missing critical system file?

How can he be so sfc/scannow is supposed to replace the missing system files?  This is because it is not this that sfc/scannow does.

Now you know sfc/scannow does not.  He did not replace your missing system file (don't forget to put your rundll32.exe back so you will have a).

Now, go to c:\windows\system32\dllcache and delete or rename the file rundll32.exe from there - and it will be gone and not replaced automatically because the Windows File Protection does not seem after this record.

    Run sfc/scannow in full again.

Replace the file rundll32.exe missing in the dllcache folder, since it handles missing files (not the system32 folder) IS the folder that sfc/scannow.

    Now you know sfc/scannow does.

Do you need help to know too much about the corrupt system files?

Since most people do not have a genuine XP bootable installation CD, they will not be able to develop a copy of the file that is missing from the installation CD, they have not.

After some directions on how to replace the file when the user has no XP bootable installation CD authentic and that will be useful to all.

If you don't know how to say "I don't know how" and I'll help you.

You want to inform/warn the poster that SP3 is installed that running sfc/scannow will take a long time for the installation of SP3 CD?

If you do not have a CD with the same Service Pack as your installation (most people don't), the posters are in for a rough and frustrating time.

Of course this will help with the detachment of the Ministry of Education of the impossible to try things that don't work, but I thought I'd throw it out there for the 100th time.
