  I was fixing a friend out of warranty HP Pavilion A6000N desktop and had to replace the motherboard. I installed the Asus M2N68-AM Plus mobo which is very similar to the Council of M2N68 - LA used in the original.   I recently got a laptop hard drive to my Qosmio f60 replacement and windows had to be reloaded.
  Then my cell phone worked before I could two fingers scrolling on pages and others.
  Now, I can't, and I can't find a setting for this anywhere.

  Ive downloaded a driver called "scrybe" that allows me to do this,
  but I'd rather widely does not run a processor extra and just using the default function of portable.

• 46YL863: change TV channels - delay before the new image appears

  Hope someone can advise me please on an "issue" that's appeared recently with my 46YL863 TV.
  I say 'problem' rather than problem in case it's something to do with my settings, which is the cause.

  When I change channels I notice that there is a delay of several seconds of the current image to the new. I narrowed down it to this happens only when you switch from a HD channel to a one SD card, or from a SD card on a HD.

  In these circumstances the screen will first black, then blue and after a couple more seconds the new image of the string will appear.
  Switch between HD or SD channels and the new image appears almost immediately.

  This happened before the last two days, so either a fault has developed or I changed a setting in some way.

  I tried other plugs of HDMI input and the situation is the same.
  Any suggestions please?

• Far Far Away title text faints before the end

  I use the title of Far Far Away is predefined in FCPX. I have a little long enough to scroll text (the poem ' Twas The Night Before Christmas) and no matter how long I extend the title in the timeline panel, the text disappears just before the last two verses and makes the end of the poem disappear. I searched the forums and cannot find an answer. I also developed the video attributes to see if I had a hidden fade or transition and I don't. Any ideas are appreciated!

  So I did a little research and to allow you to synchronize the two chassis together you must use a map of timing and synchronization in each frame so that you can share Tclk. This is for several reasons: first of all, as well as terminals IN CLK and CLK OUT, several PFI lines are required for the export of various signals used by T - CLK (i.e. Start, Stop and Sync triggers). • HP envy 700 - spec on the website is bad &amp; design flaws

  I am very disappointed by this product to HP.

  Buyers should be aware that HP provide units that do not meet published specifications.  which clearly indicates that there are 8 ports x USB on this unit (4 x USB 3, 4 x USB 2).  But the one I received was missing two USB 2 ports.  Also - the memory, given on the card, card reader is missing

  It is a gross distortion of their product and violates the Trade Descriptions Act and distance selling regulations.

  In addition, I have two complaints about the poor design of the device.

  (a) 2 x 3 USB ports and Sockets for headphones/mic on the 'front' of the unit are actually located on the top of the unit and are slanted backward, pointing to the back of the PC.  This is why you don't see them in the pictures.

  If you plan to place the high unit - as I do (on top a workbook)-this is a real problem.  If place you the unit on the ground then you have an excellent dust here trap.

  b adding hard drive additional readers.  I have to add 2 additional drives to my unit.

  The good news is that HP finally produces a chassis that does not require to remove half of it in order to add a HARD disk.  I love the racking unit in which reside the hard drives - it's easily accessible from the side of the unit.

  The bad news is that SATA connectors for additional disks are placed in the most inaccessible place on the motherboard (top left corner), where they are completely overshadowed by the wiring.  Indeed to a cursory inspection could miss them altogether.

  I just connected to the top data cables I need, but it took me 40 minutes and was very difficult.  Should be no more than a 5 minute job.

  A good point - the machine was delivered the next day, as advertised (usually it takes 2 days for delivery, in my experience).

  As for the rest of the PC - it is as specified.  A very fast PC with 16 GB of RAM and a hard disk of 2 TB.  I have not used for a long time, but I don't foresee any problems here.

  I really think, for £999, HP should have done a much better job.  It's a matter of opinion whether if it is good quality / price, but I could never recommend it.

  I bought 4 HP computers before (an office, two laptops and a netbook) and it's the most disappointing experience I had.  I'll need to seriously reconsider if I buy from them again.

• FPGA target host DMA FIFO multi-channel

  Hi people,

  I have a little trouble to collect my FPGA application data. The control of my FPGA application loop is running and read data from set point between a host and target FIFO to a period of 50 uSec. I run a separate loop to write data collected form two channels in a target of FIFO host over a period of 1000 uSec. I'm taking the data from both channels and its reading on the host in bundles of 500 data samples. The first problem I have is that my method of reading times unless I put my data acquisition loop to run at a much slower pace. My FIFO depth host side is 60000, almost as large as the total number of data samples that I expect to collect in total.

  I have another problem when trying to write the data to a table. Even if my method of reading does not expire, I don't think that will record the first beam of data that are read. I've initialized an empty table outside my acquistion of the side loop host and used the table VI build to take the current data set and add it at the end of this table. I then store in a shift register and pass it in the next iteration where I try to join the new data set to the old and so on. I expected to get a table with all the data, but as I said I'm only collecting the first set of 500. I wonder if my program structure is correct. Any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a few pictures of my reference request. Thank you.

  Thank you for your response. I think I found a solution to the problems that I had. Looks like it was a combination of a couple things. First, the data acquisition loop was running not until the movement was already over since I plugged the condition to stop the loop of writing deposit directly on the data read loop. This problem has been fixed by creating a shared variable for the stop condition and it wiring to two loops independently. This explains why I got only the first set of data, as it was stored in the FIFO until the end of the movement. However, the FIFO of feedback was still time. Before attaching the stop condition error, I placed a probe on the "items remaining" wire of the read method and concluded that there was only 1023 elements (the depth of the FIFO on the side FPGA) even if I set the FIFO depth host side to 60000. "» I realized it was originally due to the Read method not called for the first time until the end of the movement. Although the problem of break for most fixed condition this problem given that the Read method was now called during the movement, I decided to take a preventive measure and calling the 'Start' before the movement FIFO method is started just to make sure that the memory of PEP on the side host is available immediately.

  So yes, it turns badly I put sync settings have been well after all. Good call on the reversal of the order on the Array function to build. Oh, and I also had to move the waveform diagram to until the table is built so that it is not Replot the old data on top of all the new data it receives. On the same note, I moved to the indicator in table at the end outside of the loop of reading. Thanks again for your help.

  So I have a set of 2D data (at the moment it is a set of random numbers) I got histogram binning data of 100,000 points in 1000 bins.  A column (column 0) are the values of the intensity of the (I) I am after and the other column (column 1) is the number of these intensity values of which was put in a cell (ie the number of observations, N)

  Now I have to do now is to go through the table in its entirety (IE 1000 bins) and find the maximum product of N * I, where these values of N and I are now Nm and Im respectively (so the maximum product is Nm * Im).

  What I've done is to separate the two columns in separate tables, one for the intensity and a number of observations.  The best way I could think to find the maximum product is now using the Mathscript node.  I have a Fortran code that already has, it is indicated here.

  Hello Scott,

  Your wiring code seems good.  In general, when you work with tables, you should avoid treatment elements in each both loops in MathScript.  If you want to calculate the maximum product of N * I, you can do it with a few simple instructions.  One thing to note is that you want to perform a scalar multiplication of two vectors (N and me) - Note the point before the time.  If you use the ordinary multiplication, it will try to do a multiplication of matrix and returns an error.  If you navigate using LabVIEW for the max function, you will see it can return two outputs: the maximum value and the index into the array where it occurred.  You can use these values to get the desired information:

• Thought I had a virus - running SLOW

  Running XP home. I thought I had a virus/spy/badly. Tried to open Add / Remove programs and it won't fill. Tried to start > run > regsvr32 appwiz.cpl and got the Dll RegisterServer in appwiz.cpl succeeded. Still not filling. Tried to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall and all subfolders are here.

  I ran several comprehensive analyses for several days (MS malware, security essentials, scan security; Lavasoft Ad-Aware. Spybot Search & destroy. AVG; Norton; Gleary Registry Cleaner and a few others, I don't remember). All say no virus, spyware or potential unwanted software detected. I have two hard drives (one for the programs, data) so enough free space. Is it all turns very slowly, especially when I try to run scans. It's like my computer is fighting to keep them from leaving.

  It started while I had Comcast install digital phone. Connection or coincidence?  My online experience goes to web sites is at the same speed as before - wired for internet access.

  Any suggestions before I have to wipe my hard drive?

  A couple with an Extender of RE4100W problems; eplain logic my config network before listing the two questions.

  I use a dsl router that manages all functions of the router, and then an E3200 configured in Bridge mode, working as an AP. The router is in the wiring closet, so I need the separate AP. The 3200 is configured according to the data of linksys, so it has an assigned IP address. Works great, I just need the Extender to extend the signal in a section of the House.

  1. whenever the extender works, I get a message of conflict of IP address on multiple computers. Remove the Extender, the problem goes away. I tried assigning static IP end-to-end, so I know that there is no conflict and who can verify with my router data, but still, the conflict messages.  The minute that I remove the Extender, the conflicts disappear.

  2. the second question is more strange... I see solid speeds through the Extender when first powered on, but after its operation for a period of time, flow fall 9-10 Mbit/s to less than 1... becomes practically unusable. Unplug the Extender, plug it back in, and we are ready to go for a while.

  Whats strange, is that I did a test where I've disabled the 3200 and turned on its side of the dsl router wireless. Seems to work fine... the problem disappears. That suggests to me the extender works and its something involving the 3200, but there is not much here regarding the config when this thing works in bridge mode. and without the Extender under tension, or, when it is connected directly to the AP, the flow is very good.

  I tried to use both the IP of the router (which, to me, seems the ideal solution as a gateway of the extender) and the period of INQUIRY PSA as its IP of the gateway, but given that the 3200 works in bridge mode and so I'm not expecting its IP address to the IP Address of the gateway for the Extender. Two configs work, but the problem is that it is.

  I use WEP security throughout (I know, I know, but it's a long story, and go to WPA will create some problems) and just to eliminate that as a problem, switched to WPA and tested. I doubted that it was a safety issue, and that test seemed to confirm... the problem remains.

  I got the Extender configured with a static IP address in dhcp mode, makes no difference.

  Channel wifi has changed, just to eliminate a possibility, no difference.

  At this point, I don't know where to look and do not know if the two issues are related? .. .any suggestions?

  I went and did a few more tests.

  Long story short, it seems to be the security mode. I switched to WPA2, and it seems to have solved the problem... will test through the evening and confirm.

  Not sure why it has not resolved the issue before... I know that I changed it on both the parameter "input" (AP) for the Extender and the side 'stretched '. I know I have done this, if I remember this change on the access point itself.

  That said, is not to argue with what has apparently solved the problem.

  I just got used it although it was frustrating for my children. Now I have another laptop for my wife and she connects more often, and when I'm not home. I don't want to have to deal with to reset the router if I have to.

  I've not seen anything like this in the forums, the firmware doesn't seem to be an option, so if anyone has a solution for this, I would appreciate it.

  You need to reset hard your router to the factory settings and then try to configure the re-...

  To reset the router press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds... Release the reset button... Unplug the power cable from your router, wait 30 seconds and reconnect the power cable... Now re - configure your router...
  Also, make sure that your computer is configured to obtain an IP automatically, disable any firewall, the security software on the computer before you try to access the configuration page...

  I understand you want to upgrade the firmware of your router, but you should give it a try if the above does not solve your problem...
