  • What is best modem cable to twin with new extreme apple 802.11 ac

I have an old motorola sb6121 paired with new apple 802.11ac extreme I bought yesterday and after 12 hours of trying everything I keep getting disconnected every few seconds... I have read all the message concerned and tried them all to play nice... When I have more signals 85 Mbps because I pay for the explosion of comcast.  I want a new modem and would like to know what is recommended... I see zoom 5141j is recommended, but I see zoom a modem cable new 16 x 4... It would be to my advantage to go with vx 16 x 4 8 x 4 channels at the time of the twinning with extreme? Thank you

What is best modem cable pair with the new 802.11ac Apple extreme

Questions like this are indeed impossible to answer... especially because that person has tested every modem with an AirPort Extreme to see if there is really a modem 'best '.  Even if it were possible to come with a modem 'best' but... it would be judicious bit to choose this modem and then knowledge that was not supported by Comcast.

Therefore, a better plan for you may be to search a list of modems supported by Comcast, narrow your choices down to 3-4 products, then post this list here and ask other users of Comcast comments on how the products have performed for them.  You can also consider posting on a forum online from Comcast as well.

Regarding your question about the new Zoom modem, this product is really new, so it will be some time before a work experience can be developed for this product. It seems that the new Zoom modem is designed primarily for working with connections to high speed... 600, 700, 800 + Mbps Internet speeds. So, unless you plan to upgrade to a plan of Internet connection with these types of speeds in the near future, you probably don't need a modem with this type of functionality.

  • Which are the best MacBook

    Nose than macbook comprarme...

Cual todas are the best, I need that ande rapido y sea of 13 inch, Gracias.

If need sea of 13 inch, debes so a MacBook Pro o a MacBook Air:

    • MacBook Pro 13 inch clasico: known change in 2012 y fue ultima tiene material antiguo, pero still can perfectly funcionar. If eras of Québec the Québec el gusta los por material you cuenta, este are you ordenador (pero otra cosa aside of RAM any y del disco duro anula the garantia).
    • MacBook Pro 13 inch con pantalla retina: fino, none are muy pesado y lo mejor are known pantalla. Además, tiene memoria flash, por lo that works much better than el MacBook Pro 13 inch clasico. ES mas caro, pero in mi opinion deserves the pena.
    • MacBook Air 13 inch. ES still mas fino y delgado, pero su pantalla no are no tan buena y el como no tiene tanto MacBook Pro conectores. No tiene UN material don't tan el como por lo as if quieres el ordenador para este, normal tasks, powerful MacBook Pro are el ordenador.

Shopping Y TR MacBook Pro 13 inch o El a MacBook Air, you recommend contract AppleCare. ASI, you ahorraras mucho dinero TR el ordenador you falla.

  • Best Macbook for Uni/accounting?

Hi, I'm hoping to go to University the year next to study accounting and finance. Yesterday I bought the new gray Space 12 '' Macbook Online (without testing in-store), however I am now questioning if it was the right decision, as almost all the critics have said that the 13 "Macbook Pro than the Macbook at all levels (in addition to being more heavy/less portable). I'm 17 and I am not very well informed about the technological differences - but for now I don't seem to get on with the Macbook, it has a very small keyboard and it is almost too light so he could be comfortable on my lap, etc., but it must just be endured. If I work in the offices of accounting on investments as well as to take around Uni, what Macbook would be better for me?

I'd appreciate really no help from any good Apple fans informed. Thank you!

Probably not a Macbook at all, there is a shortage of good accounting software for Macs. A portable powerful Windows would be better and (b) cheaper.

  • Chip and upgrade memory set on my great MacBook Pro 1.2 and want to download the latest OS to Snow Leopard. An Apple store guy did to his own personal machine, but the upgrade was a procedure in several steps. Help!

I upgraded my MacBook Pro 1.5 with CT541631 CT2KIT12864AC667.000 2 GB UPGRADE for a APPLE MACBOOK PRO 2.16 GHZ INTEL CORE DUO (17-INCH) SYSTEM. I also added more memory. The Apple Store genius who did this on his own machine was on his own because Apple does not officially support the best MacBook Pro they never built and isn't there anymore to ask questions about the OS correct necessary updates. I think he said he had to go to Lion first and then upgrade to latest, although we both agreed that El Capitan was too buggy. Anyone know what I need to do to let the download procedure OS know that my ols is now a new machine?

Where did you buy the RAM module?  If it was not directly a source of Apple, you did it sure it was for the year and the time of year of output of your model (i.e. mid-2006 MacBook Pro)?  To identify the age, go to this tip:

    http://discussions.Apple.com/docs/doc-6413

Specs such as CT541631 CT2KIT12864AC667.000 are totally superfluous, unless they also indicate what year and the time of year, the model came out.

  • EA4500 + ADSL router: networking noob question

Then... I'm not sure of the right words to use, but this is the case I would appreciate the help. I tried to figure out how to survive myself, but I find it a little confusing - however, if you think I just need a networking 101 do not hesitate to send me to appropriate information sources (I've tried a few, as I say, but I have not yet found a place where my situation fits!).

Quick back story: I have a cheap TalkTalk ADSl router (D-Link 3680) where the Wireless does not properly in the House. So I just got a DSL EA4500 router for better strength/speed/compliance wireless - you'll just have to forgive me for not having an ADSL router, which I realize may have been a simpler solution!

First of all, I put the (D-Link of TalkTalk 3680) ADSL router in Bridge mode and got this and the EA4500 work together which was great as it goes. However, I would be hard...

I have a tower PC and wish to receive wired ethernet network. While I know in the set - up above I can run a cable from the 3680 to the EA4500 and then another cable to the PC because the PC is closer to the telephone (with the ADSL router) Jack, physically it seems wiser, if I take the PC of the 3680 ethernet connection (along with a second cable 3680 to EA4500 connection for the wireless). It may or may not be relevant that the 3680 is a Fast Ethernet output, as is the network PC card (i.e. are not Gigabit).

I don't know (a) whether the above configuration is possible and if yes, how, or (b) the question whether in terms of networking, it is best to cable to the EA4500 computer (even if this will create a longer path to the PC and the wiring more).

Meaning, and if yes maybe someone could give me also a term for what I'm doing?

    Help gratefully received! Garreth

3680 port LAN (bridge) => EA4500 Port WAN (router)-online PC peripherals and wireless

It's the best configuration and nothing should be connected to the 3680 other than the EA4500.

The physical location of the electronics is not important, unless you can not run cable or wireless signal is low.

  • Laptop screen resolution

    I have a laptop HP ENVY dv6t-7300.  I would like to connect it to a monitor 24 "1920 x 2000.

My laptop has a maximum resolution of 1366 x 768.

    A few questions...

    (1) an average of the is the best HDMI cable to connect to the monitor?
    (2) the monitor don't stretch 1366 pixels to fit the 1920 pixels or image will not fill the monitor?

(I dunno what video card is in the phone).

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards.

  • "Sorry, a serious error has occurred, which requires...". "blah blah blah!

For the 1st time, I therefore opened a project ive been working for about a week and received this message:

    Screen Shot 2015-06-04 at 9.33.43 AM.png

It occurs when opening this project especially tho! Ive done a bit of research these days, but nobody knows what exactly the same problem as I am. The only difference I can think of is the fact that I used MOJO and a third party dissemination plugin on this project. Ive uninstalled both of these programs (I think) and still get the same result. Load bar is stuck at the same exact spot.

The scenario was as follows: I did a complete editing, added the plugins/effects, made the project at night, awake, closed all programs and stop computer. When I tried to reopen the project later that day, I got the error message. If his only past with a project would I be wasting my time uninstalling/reinstalling PP?

Its a 4 minute clip that I'm working on.

    I'm stuck!

    Heres me record btw:

    Screen Shot 2015-06-06 at 9.10.53 AM.png

    Adobe Premiere Pro 6.0.5 CS6

Clearly not the best macbook pro but Ive never had this problem before. Ive worked very well for months!

    #help

Well I finally understood what was stopping my projects! NewBlue FX! I uninstalled the program completely, common sense and everything opens right! Something in this plugin is clearly not compatible with the CS6. I'll email to shoot them and see what they say.

    Thanks ya'll!

  • HP ENVY 4500 e - all - in - a principle: HELP! Can I use firewire-USB cable to connect the HP Envy 4500 for MacBook Pro?

    Help, please!

I just bought a FANCY 4500 e-all-in-one printer for use with my MacBook Pro (OSX 10.7.5) during a trip. I use WiFi in the hotel.

I tried to connect printer and wireless laptop. It is not the case. Printer connects to the network. Mac connects to the network. The 4500 just want stands as a device when it is time to choose a printer.

I read all the posts proposed, searched the forum looked at HP printer support. I can't find any solution for when this message appears:

«ATTENTION more than an access point/router wireless was found which corresponds to your wireless network (SSID) name.» If this is not intended, your HP printer can connect to wireless wrong. To avoid this problem, change the name of your wireless network (SSID) to be unique.

"If you change the name of your network, you need to configure the SSID on all wireless devices to match your new network SSID".

I guess I can't rename the network name of the hotel's wireless, so I'm ready to go on the road to cable. Envy has a firewire port. My MacBook has just USB.

==> Se connect want 4500 and Mac via a USB-to-Firewire my best cable option to print while I'm in the hotel?

==> Or there, does anyone know a work around?

Thank you very much for your help!

Thank you very much for your answer.

Ah, Yes. The old Grasshopper see that it is just another form - Type B - USB port on the printer than on his laptop computer.

Why would I want to connect via WiFi to the hotel? Obviously because I was not think properly.

Thank you for your patience and response.

I click resolved when I print from my laptop.

First of all, he is out to buy a USB cable.

  • Cable/adapter for use of 2007 iMac as a display for 2009 MacBook Pro

I would use my older iMac as a monitor for my MacBook Pro. Want to know which cable and/or adapter I need help.

The iMac is a 24 inch, Intel based since 2007 (6.1). 2 GB, 667 MHZ.  It uses iOS 10.5.8. Its port is a Mini-DVI video output.

The MacBook Pro is a 15-inch (5.4) 2009. 4 GB, 1067 MHZ. It uses iOS 10.11.6. Its port is a Mini display port.

    Popular Wizard. Thank you.

You must use a wireless or Ethernet connection and configure Virtual Network Computing. A 2007 iMac only supports video-, and cannot function without the standard display cable.

  • Wich USB 3.0 / 3.1 PCMCIA USB controller works best in a macbook pro 17 "early 2011?

    Hi people,

why I had this idea before?

I have an available PCMCIA slot in my macbook pro and would therefore be an opportunity to put in a USB 3.0 or (if already available) a 3.1 USB controller card.

... but: one who works best with EL CAPITAN? and with the SIERRA to come?

did someone knows with this interesting topic?

    This product solves the problem:

    I bought a controller card - 3.0 - nano tech on eBay: http://www.ebay.de/itm/262393441049

It works very well plug & play under sierra on a macbook pro in early 2011.

but nowhere, a controller 3.1 must be found.

  • Best case for Macbook Pro 13 inch with Retina display

I was wondering what the best case was for my purchase of a Macbook Pro 13 inch with the retina display. I am a student of the school and will walk to school with her in a compartment of my bag. It might be high everywhere, but he must be not so bulky that I also have school books. Any suggestion?

If you are specifically looking for a shell, then I recommend the INCASE ones, just go to the apple store and get my things for Mac they have a feeling of fluidity buttered and are pleasant to the touch - as the Apple trackpad - it simply snaps on and snaps off when you want off the coast.  If you are looking for a Holster, I recommend the slim sleeve incase.  It has a soft interior for your mac are not destroyed (its aluminium-what worries you - you did you buy Care, haven't you?) and has a spot for the port of loading.

    I hope this helps!

  • What is the best monitor for the MacBook Pro?

I want to get a 27 "monitor for my macbook Pro for my degree. Which is the best alternative for the thunderbolt display, as it is incredibly expensive. Thank you guys

I prefer Samsung, and I deployed samsung monitors to dozens of designers who I support (27 "), but almost all of them use the same components of the same factories.
