  The problem is after years of import for the last tags of a certain type, all files in all chapter books have swelled catalogs, full of tags that are not used and are not applicable for the type of document. I would like to clean these catalogues and let only relevant tags to this kind of document. I'm ready to take the hit if a chapter or book uses a tag that it should not, as long as I know what it is.

  What is the "best practices" way to achieve this? What method do you recommend?

  Your #1 approach is probably the best way to go. However, instead of trying to clean up the tags manually, take a look at paragraph of Steve Kubis and character tools. See: http://www.siliconprairiesoftware.com/Products.html

  This will help clean up a lot of things and they are reasonably priced. It also has corresponding tools for the management of cross-references, variables, arrays, and colors that all work you same way. You can try before you buy.

  What I would do in this situation is to save a reference to the object as a variable in the symbol on the creation, then reference the variable when you want to destroy.

  So:

  var foo = sym.createChildSymbol (blahblahblah);

  sym.setVariable ("bar", foo);

  In the other symbol (assuming the two symbol instances are at the same level with regard to step):

  var foo = sym.getParentSymbol ().getSymbol("mySymbol").getVariable ("bar");

  foo.deleteSymbol ();

  I'm quite new to virtualization and unable to understand the ways to copy the ISO file that is located on the data to a virtual computer store. Basically, I already installed ESXi and couple of Windows 2008 VM. Consider using one of this virtual machine as a server vCenter. Now, I have already downloaded from the VMware website and downloaded vCenter ISO to one of the data store.

  However, unable to work how can I copy the ISO to this virtual machine file so that I can install vCenter server? I have read a few things on the internet and tried to use WinSCP within the virtual machine using the IP host address, but I get "no connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.» the connection has failed. It is similarly after I activated the client FTP on ESXi host in the firewall. I am able to SSH (putty) to ESXi host with no problems.

  How can I get this to work? Y at - it a simple method that might work? Is WinSCP way to go? If so, why it wouldn't work? Note it is lab home environment and there is no other firewalls between the two.

  I produce large photographic reproductions combining my own photo images modified RAW 16-bit with 8-bit stock photos and 8-bit of photoshop work. I used just reduce my photos from 16-bit to 8-bit and then change my image composite 8-bit, but I stumbled on the banding and other problems in the color gradients, I created later in my composite image.

  I want my composite image at 16 bits to get more specific and better degraded colors. What is the best way to bring the image to 8-bit files in my composition and maintain the best quality?   Even when there is no need to convert the document to the item in 16-bit mode is not.  If you need all the layers to adjust the image of the element to be light or mix better, it's better you have two choices. Do not open the file of the item in Place as a smart object layer and then open the embedded object and change the copy of your document.  Or open the target document element all the layers and then drag the document you are working on.

  The second way would produce a larger file of the document then the smart object layer way. For all layers will be 16-bit color.   There is probably another way to get here, but in Developer SQL, on the navigation tree, expand objects until your table, right-click, and then click EXPORT... you will see all the options. It is a tedious process and it sucks IMO, but yes, it works. This is zero especially because 1) it's a table at a time, 2) If your data model is robust and has constraints and sequences and triggers, then you will need to disable all for the insert and we hope you can re-enable constraints, etc. without hitch (good luck, unless you have only a handful of tables)

  I prefer to use the oracle EXP command-line to export an entire schema, then the server target, I use IMP to import the schema. In this way, it is almost true. This makes the dirty life if you develop multiple applications in a single schema, and I felt pain - however - it is much easier to drop the tables and other objects is to create them! (thus, even if the process of EXP/IMP moved more than you wanted to "move".. blow everything you don't want on the target after the fact...)

  Transfers on the network are not deterministic.  You ask how to use the data in a deterministic way, once it arrives on the RT system.  Usually, you would create a separate loop, not critics of time to deal with network communications.  The data arrives it is copied in real-time-safe structures such as RT-FIFO to put at the disposal of the evanescent loop.

  I can't give you specific advice on network variables and network flows; Finally, I did this kind of transfer over TCP, until these other options were available.
