  Your Interactive report MUST have a model region for dynamic Action at work; otherwise there is no region ID in the DOM.

  Hi all
  I work in a cooperative and we use the hyperion 11.1.2.1 Tools version. I have a doubt about the use of the sliders. Here's my situation: I have a result that shows sales by branch product x. In a slider I the branch and o the other products. Both are assigned to a speedometer. When I put a cursor in one position (when I choose a branch, for example) the speedometer indicates all the sales for this branch, regardless of the product placed in the other cursor. In the lead, I thought that the cursor works as a filter and the speedometer will respect the two sliders.
  My main question is: is possible to work with a meter speed (for example) and two or more cursors? And two slide acting as a filter...
  
  I don't know if I was clear enough...

  Unfortunately a cursor is allowed to control other objects. You can use a different control in combination with slider - dropdown or Listbox.

• difference between Interactive Reporting (IR) and the reports of Production (PR)

  Could someone tell me the difference between IR and PR Version 9.3.1 or later if its important. My impression is that IR is used for ad hoc reporting, and PR is used for the production of regular reports. I believe you can also create reports that production of IR also, so I don't see where is the difference.

  Hi Tom,

  PR or HYPERION SQR PRODUCTION REPORTING focus produces high quality reporting mass. The reports are designed and then demand by admins (or report developers), end users are generally not involved.

  IR or creation of INTERACTIVE REPORTING, HYPERION focuses on ad-hoc data analysis. IR can be put in place to enable end users to modify queries for the purpose of analysis and output then reports or dashboards.

  Recently, I installed 11.1.5.0 OBIEE. I am able to connect to the services fine presentation.
  
  But I don't see the analysis and Interactive tab when I click on New. All I see is 1. 2 published reports. Actionable Intelligence.
  
  I don't see a place where I can choose my business. I'm missing something here.
  
  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I hope that your currently logged in user has the role of BIConsumer. If you want to do the analysis you must have a role BIAuthor or BIAdministrator card if your current users in this role, then it will work.

  Just go to Weblogic EM (FMW)--> application of the roles--> change here...

  The option is in the Actions of IR menu. Go to Actions > Format > sorting and deselect the current sort columns by setting - Select the column - column .

  I have 2 groups of users with different levels of security access, so I need to restrict certain data in the interactive report. I want to create 1 report with all data and 1 report that excludes certain documents based on one of the fields. Can I do this using an authentication scheme? Can someone direct me to some good instructions on how to do this? I'm open to other suggestions as well.

  I have another thread on that as well, but I wonder about another method (limitation of access to the records in interactive report), hoping that it will be a little easier.

  Authentication schemes are used to establish the identity of a user. Common methods to include validating a username and password, call an external mechanism to the SSO or scan of a fingerprint. Authentication schemes are not related to your problem.

  Did you actually means 'permission' rather than 'authentication '? Authorisation schemes determine the actions by controlling access to pages and components of APEX, a user can run. You can use authorization to control if a user sees a report region, but not the lines that are shown in this report (although technically possible, it is generally not the best approach).

  In short: authentication determines the identity of the user. Authorization determines the operations that a user with this identity can perform. Restricted access control these operations can be performed on the data.

  What you need is an access control and DTV and view the methods described in the other thread are solutions to that. Close this message and focus on the other.

  I know that people have asked similar questions, but I was not able to do this work. I'm doing some fairly simple math (addition, multiplication) in an application. I have 2 fields (VALUE_A, VALUE_B). I can get the addition and multiplication work in the interactive report, but I also need that it works correctly in the form of update. I also need update form to work dynamically so that if the values are changed, the correction calculated response is shown immediately on the update form and then reflected in the interactive report. I tried the dynamic action, with and without javascript without result. Any help would be appreciated.

• Problem with 'Interrupted' Interactive report and download empty content

  I created a simple sample application to display this behavior on apex.oracle.com.

  We had a need to prevent shooting during the loading of the page of an interactive report. There are a number of messages from the forum for this but, for the most part they came down to this:

  1. Create a page element and include a test for its value in the SQL source of your interactive report, for example P1_RUN_SUPRESSOR = 'RUN '.
  2. Initially, set the value of this element so that it prevents the research report of the corresponding lines, for example "DO_NOT_RUN".
  3. When the required criteria has been set, switch the value of the element of the condition for success page and then refresh the report.

  It's that everything works as it should. As you can see in the sample application, the report is not filled at the start. When you click the run now button, the value of the P1_RUN_SUPRESSOR went from 'DO_NOT_RUN' on 'RUN' and then the region of report is refreshed. As we expected, the lines are all now populated 'normally '.

  However, if you now try to use the upload feature, the content of the report is empty.

  Can anyone think of a fix/work around?

• Filter values and to_date interactive report

  I am trying to add a filter in an interactive report on a field that is defined in the query as follows:

  Select TO_CHAR (TO_DATE (comm. MONTHS, 'MM'), 'MONTH') AS 'MONTHS' from sometable

  Comm. month is a date field

  It works properly when it shows values, they have the name of the month.

  The problem is when I try a filter to aid 'to' article. I can see the different names of months in the drop-down list and I can add to the list of filters (i.e.: MAY, JUNE) but when I click on Apply I behaving strangely, as always by selecting all the lines or not if you select anything.

  Any idea? Oh, I'm using Apex 4.0.2 btw.

• Mix of traditional and interactive reports fails the process of RESETTING of PAGINATION.

  I have a tab page where I got 3 different reports REPORT_A (classic), REPORT_B (interactive) and REPORT_C (CLASSIC) in alphabetical order. I have a page to reset pagination process that will always draw (without condition) when you visit the page with the tab.

  
  Reset pagination process that exists in the front scene of the header is set to fire but not to reset the interactive report. It affects the subsequent classic report REPORT_C as well. The REPORT_A would be reset paging very well since it exists before the interactive report. Is this a bug in apex?

  In my real application I wish a dropdownlist control on the page based on which I would like to filter the data. The dropdownlist control will have a corresponding branch of after-submit who will absolutely perfect pagination to reset & RIR. But when we visit Web site by tab the above problem would break the page.

  I tried the solutions like gReport.search ('SEARCH') but that will only set the interactive report, not the classic REPORT_C. It's just a hack anyway.

  Yes. You can change this using the only the lines identified by / Unique column interactive properties in the section of the column of link in the attributes of the report definition report tab.
