Right monitor is the main. I move the pointer on the right edge to the left monitor. How can I move the pointer over the left edge to get to the left screen?

  • Windows XP crashes intermittently when stopping. Stuck on the screen with the default windows background color and the mouse pointer.

We are an OEM that systems of electronic Assembly is based, in our machine is a PC running Windows XP Professional that provides the interface for the operator. Some of our systems have begun to crash intermittently when stopping.  Up to now we have seen it on three machines.  There has been no change to hardware or drivers that we put on these machines.

The PC is supposed to stop at the point were he said "It is now turn off your computer", but it hangs when the only thing on the screen is the default windows background and the mouse pointer. The mouse moves, but that's all. He is unresponsive to ctrl-alt-delete, or any other entry.

This was reported 5 times, and in any case there's nothing in any log file which would tend to indicate where the problem is maybe.

I guess we have a bad driver or device, but the problem only happens once all stops of 5-10, and only after the machine is turned on for a while.

I just turned on the detailed status messages, but they did not stop the machine since.

What I asked is: is it possible to get windows to connect to all events stop? I really want to know what he was doing when he stopped.  Can someone else think something I can look at, or a better way to debug this?

Re: a suggestion on this new monitor to 'prove' is the source of the problem
Disconnect it, connect a type non-ecran touch "ordinary".
stop/restart in safe MODE, make sure that the old monitor is not appear in the Device Manager [what we used to call a ghost]
If it IS, delete it & uninstall the sw provided with touch screen
    Reboot in normal mode
    Try a stop
If you get the old orange it'S now SAFE, tell the seller about IT.

  • Just updated to Sierra and updated Pages at the same time. Now when I try to select a line of text I find myself with an insertion point where I stopped by selecting

Today, I updated for Sierra and updated to the latest version of the Pages. Now I find that I am more able to select a line of text. When I try to do, I find myself with an insertion point where I stopped by selecting, but nothing is selected. This is a bug in the new version of pages or get my wrong settings?

You use a Wacom tablet by chance?

Solution: Press the shift key, just before stop selection. And Yes, that sounds like trouble in the Sierra.

  • I'm looking for the third order intercept point

How to find the point of interception of third order of my iphone 6? There is a sheet with all the technical specifications in relation to the my phone gsm modem. Thank you

No, Apple does not publish or release this level of technical specifications to the public.  Since the 3rd order intercept is a purely mathematical concept for such low power as a smart phone device, I imagine that these kinds of data are unknown outside of Apple's own engineering group (or Foxconn I guess)?

If iTunes does not accept your password, you may need to reset or. However that shouldn't happen without a valid reason. The button agree should be at the bottom of the window appearing in the terms.

  • iTunes.exe found entry point

After the last update error ITunes.exe entry point not found

avcfplayersetclientenforcedexternalprotectionmethod could not be found in the dynamic link library c:\program files\iTunes\itunescore.dll - I download windows 10 iTunes 64 install and ran repair - repair has not fixed the problem

Entry point errors can usually be fixed by removing the offending dll, and then repair the component it is programs and features Control Panel. iTunesCore.dll is part of the main application to iTunes and it will usually be in iTunes C:\Program or C:\Program Files (x 86) \iTunes.

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

More information area has direct links with the current and recently built in case you have problems to download, need to revert to an earlier version, or try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit-for older video cards) release as a work around for performance issues, or for compatibility with QuickTime software or a third party on 64 - bit systems.

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

Your library must be affected by these measures, but there are links to tips of backup and recovery elsewhere in the tip of the user.

If the problem persists and you have a 64-bit system try for the old version of video cards which is a 64-bit Installer for most of the 32-bit code, similar to all 64 bit iTunes up to 12,1 versions.

  • Any point of fixing my Airport + WIFI?

I live in rural Panama, where everything in the House which is connected has a surge protector and/or APR protecting. Recently, we had a bolt of lightning nearby, who took on my company by cable modem and my time machine/AirPort base station. Everything was OK or disable. My Mac has been plugged in another room with my backup hard drive.

Is there any point with my Airport to have someone to look or is - it now stop just a door to Apple? I feel really lucky that I should lose nothing else in this storm. Thanks for any advice you may have.

Apple not offer repairs or spare their AirPort products, unfortunately not so much that you can do another just replace the unit.

A really good technician who could steal coins rom an another time Capsule might be able to repair the time Capsule... but the cost of doing that would likely exceed the cost of a new time Capsule.

If you need the data on the hard drive to Time Capsule, you can open it and remove the hard drive, then place the disc in a box or caddy to see if the thrust to the left only the hard drive.

  • exclamation point

ITunes 11000 lists all titles but more than 7000 have the exclamation point, which means that they went WHERE they are.

My classic ipod died so I bought a new, came to download my music and cant. who or what has nicked all my songs?

This does not necessarily mean they are gone, it means that iTunes can't find them where he thinks they are. Have you done something in your iTunes library lately? You can try to play a song or two and let iTunes to try to recover their locations. If it does not, a user of ASC here has a wide range of operating on iTunes and Windows tips. I would try to find one on the library pretending disappear, unless it comes here first.

  • The mouse pointer (still) disappears when using the color picker

Someone suggested to start a new discussion, since the old writing is a couple of years now. Thanks for the tip!

Whenever I select a color using the eyedropper icon small (used to be a magnifying glass) in the color picker, the cursor goes away after I made the choice of colors.

I have that experience under El Capitan, but I had the same problem in Yosemite as well as Mavericks and on Mac computers. I've seen this behaviour being reported in the forum for older versions, such as the Mountain Lion, but never with a real solution (workaround has been on creating a new user and delete the old).

I hope someone has a solution for now.

The eyedropper tool worked very well for me and still does (I just checked).

If creating a new user solves the problem then, you have some corrupted in your account settings, or, less likely, you run an application (possibly a connection point) which is the origin of the problem.

Hold down the option key, and then use

    Finder > go > library

menu item. You have a folder 'ColorPickers? If so, is it empty?

  • Open indicator point rest under Safari, after closing of

So, I just got a MacBook Pro Friday, and I was in love.  I've never owned a Mac before, but I seem to have a small problem which is a bit annoying.  Whenever I shut Safari through the upper left red 'x' button, the open light is still showing on the dock.  It has been like this since I bought it.  Whenever I have secondary click Safari logo and press "Exit" from there, the open point indicator disappears.   When I close Safari, which dot rest as usual and when I secondary click Safari, and then click "Show all windows", there is an invisible window thing, it seems, and you can see absolutely nothing.  No way to get out of it or do something with it, unless you secondary click on Safari on the dock and click "exit".  It's just me angry a little bit, and I'm not sure what to do about it.

On Mac OS X, you can keep an application running even after you close all windows. That's what you're observing: you closed the window but firor leaves the app.

Because it's faster to open the following file, for example, but it is not really a question of a method be better than the other. Two operating systems are just different.

  • iTunes now pointing to music files not completely different!

    Hello

I just migrated my iTunes library on a NAS (sinology DS216-J).

It worked fine for a few days but now when I try to play a track he plays at all and when I go to view in the Finder it points to a photo file even if the music file is safely on the NAS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

    JO

I knew from your subject without even opening the thread that has a NAS would be involved in this.  This type of post is usually a SIN in it somewhere.  iTunes and NAS do not work well together. There is not really a solution. For some it works for a while, or even a long time, for others this kind of thing happens. Without rhyme or reason. You are better to use the SIN as a backup drive and keep the iTunes library on a normal external hard drive.

  • selectingitems and trackpad pointer moves its own

I was watching a video of Amazon and may have struck a couple of keys, or my hand slipped in the keys - I don't know, but pointer froze on the follow-up to the film bar at the bottom of the screen (not sure if this is relevant, or what is called in fact this bar) in all cases, the pointer froze and then began to move erratically in bursts on the screen , selection of apps, ibooks, photos, etc. and then OPEN them as if I had clicked. Literally goes haywire as if it had a life of its own. I have NEVER experienced this during the 11 years that I've had the Mac laptop. I don't know if trackpads wear out (my current MacBook Pro is a vintage 2012 and I debated update, but it was working very well.) I wonder how to clean the dust/debris under keys because I know it can be done and I was wondering if something got under the trackpad (seems pulled by the hair) but it's really another question for me to continue. Any help on trackpad possessed pointer would be appreciated. I don't see that this issue anywhere else... - Pam

Remove the bottom plate and inspect the inside.  Pay attention to the battery to see if there are signs of expansion.  If so, take it out and have a new installed.  An extended battery can affect the trackpad.

If no success, make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar for a FREE evaluation.

    Ciao.
